It's a top loading machine and since it was washing, it was locked. I couldn't access the serial number or model which was located under the locked lid. We purchased it a little more than a year ago from Lowe's in Chico. After two hours on hold for Maytag, I was informed that after a year, they only replace the basket and drive motor. Labor or other parts are not included. I was then transferred to their repair service only to find out it is in Davis and not in our area. I had to call for service. The very nice man had me get a hair dryer to check the outlet. Guess what, it was only that outlet. Our dryer was working on the next outlet over. After a extension cord and some moving of the water filled wash machine, I was back in business. Thank you so much!!!

Electrolux scheduled a repair with Smart Tech for my washing machine that was not working. I got a…read morerepair window. And then shortly before the service, I got a call from Smart Tech letting me know they couldn't honor the original date and reschedule it. A nice repair technician came (Richard) but he just went through the main control board to run diagnostics and said everything looked fine. Note, Electrolux online help previously had me checking codes (which cleared them). After he left, the machine started having the same non-draining problem. Called back and person on the phone said they would order a part (new drain pump) and then reschedule. A couple weeks later I call back and they say they haven't ordered part and will check with service tech again. After I call back again after being ignored for a few days I can't reach them by phone and they send a text saying to just call Electrolux back. Totally useless and a waste of my time. Over a month later and my machine still doesn't work.

Was sleeping and heard the water turn on late at night. Got to the bathroom upstairs and...well...no one was there. That was odd. I went outside to see if the sprinklers were on and they were so, i turned them off. Problem solved. Went back to bed but the noise was still there. That noise you hear when showers, sprinklers, toilets, and anything else that has water through it, is on. It was getting louder. Went back into my bathroom only to see water filling up on the floor! Uh oh. Found the problem. Busted pipe under the floor. Turned off the main line and went to bed, hoping i could find a plumber the next day. Called a couple of plumbers and left messages. Bulldawg had voicemail and gave me the option of texting. I texted and left a message. Texted me right back. Asked me a couple of qualifying questions and said he'd be there at 2:00 that same day. Was right on time. Saw immediately what the problem was. Was professional. Was thorough. Was efficient and was fair. Also didn't mind my dogs in the house! (I think they are dog friendly plumbers!) If you've got something broken and need it fixed, call them if you want it done right, on time and on budget.

The carpet was a filthy mess--deep stains, just awful (most all coffee and fruit juice). I was amazed when the whole carpet looked brand new in just one hour. And get this--these people know what they're doing so well that they can set their equipment not to soak the pad underneath the carpet!
