Mike provided a amazing customer service. My refrigerator went out on me and Mike was the only person who answered my call. He had a used refrigerator delivered to me by Monday afternoon, which is very impressive because Home Depot wasn't even able to get me one until Wednesday. My daughter had purchased a washer and dryer from Aaron's and told her she had to get an extension cord because the cord was 12-18in to short...I didn't feel it was a safe long term solution and a horrible way to leave a customer that just spent 3 times the amount buying it there .then left without it working and now it's her responsibility to try to find this certain one she had went to a few hardware and Best Buy didn't have it & was not okay with me because of the safety issue ... I called Mike and he had one of his technicians over within an hour. I felt safe knowing the equipment was properly installed by a professional. I highly recommend mike his price is reasonable and he got the job done quickly and with efficiency. I am down in the Bay Area. I went in to drop off a washer to be repaired they let me know it would take 2 days to be finished. I went in to check because they never called me and the man in the office Danny was very rude. He made some very rude and offensive comments and did not provide good service. I do not recommend this business or will be coming back. read more

Horrible customer service. Cursing and being a jerk the whole time he was in my home. Got a fridge delivered from them, paid the delivery fee which includes hauling the old one away. Guy says we didn't pay enough and the sales girl had no idea what she was doing. Says they are going to need to charge me more. Then because the crisper drawers were being used and not in the old one they refused to take it stating "I'm not going to take half a fridge so we will leave it here." Next we bought a dryer to have delivered. Dryer doesn't work. Won't take it back. Complete shit. Completely unprofessional and made the experience ridiculous. Sold a leaking frig. They came and said they "Fixed" it, 3 times in the first two 2 days, including having their "professional" install it. It still flooded the entire kitchen! Thank goodness someone was home to notice before any property damage. Then they would not refund all of the purchase price. They were annoyed to be called out for it again. But they never stopped it from leaking!! We will never be back. Either they don't know how to I stall it, or how to fix it, but they don't stand by their word or work. Never again. read more

Like most people, I hesitate to call the appliance repair; I'm afraid I'm going to get ripped off. I'm not sure where that fear originates as the folks who've helped over the years have all been honest and knowledgeable. Being new to the area, I wasn't sure who to contact when my washing machine just stopped in the middle of a cycle. Mike was able to swing by to assess the matter. His verdict: he could fix it but for the cost and effort, and given the age of the washer, he suggested an alternative. The following day he exchanged the old washer for a newer, refurbished one, which operates like a dream. Now my son can make his weekly visit to wash his laundry. My Refrigerator stopped working, went to Mike's appliance in Corning, California, to look at used refrigerators. I was met at the door by Mike who asked me what I was looking for, and he showed me all the refrigerators he had in stock and I found one that fit my needs. He stated that they would deliver and install it and remove the old one, and I stated I had a 2nd refrigerator that I wanted him to remove as well, and he agreed to pick up that one as well when they delivered it the next day. Mike called me to let me know that they were on the way and were there within a 1/2 hour and he removed both refrigerators and installed the unit I had purchased and showed me the ideal setting for this unit. We just followed one of your drivers up the hill from Chico and through Paradise. He was swerving, cutting cars off, speeding and driving extremely completely erratically. We passed him once and it looked as though he was high or drunk. He went no less than 10 over the speed limit and twas ran a red light in paradise. He also was driving at least 55 through town limits. Completely unacceptable especially in a company vehicle. We will never support a business who's employees act like that! I called Mike's Appliance in Corning because they had great reviews on Yelp to repair a broken refrigerator ice maker. Mike made an appointment for last Friday between 4-6 when his technician was on the way home to Oroville (I live in Chico). He called me in the late afternoon to cancel the appointment saying they were "so busy" and could he change the appointment for Monday or Tuesday. I said yes. No call on Monday. Tuesday morning Mike called to say his technician would come out between 4-6 on his way home to Oroville. I agreed even though I really don't care to have repair people at my home during the dinner hour. The technician never showed up and no one called to say he wasn't coming. Mike called me on Wednesday morning to say he forgot to give the technician my appointment and once again said how busy they are. Needless to say, I'm done with Mike's Appliance. I get that they're busy, but their customer service really sucks. read more

We bought a washer/dryer set we saw advertised on craigslist. There was wiggle room on the price and we think we got a good deal. They delivered and installed within 2 hours of purchasing in store. It was recommended we put a carbon dioxide detector near the dryer because it is gas. This was a thoughtful tip. No issues with either appliance so far. read more

Have gotten a used washer here and it works really well for how old it is. I did pay a little on the high side for it but I'd assume it's because it's tuned up really well. I have also used them for a service call on an oven and they were great to do business with. I plan on using them again. read more

I bought an electric stove to replace one in our rental. There are 2 brothers that work there. One is a creep, smart mouth bully and the other young man is great. I made a good fair purchase and paid for my stove.The younger brother offered to take $20.00 dollars off the price and free delivery,which normally cost 40.00. I thought I was getting a good deal and again very fair. There was a tiny little chip in the paint and he "was" going to touch it up with no problem. We did all the paper work and he said just to let him know when I wanted it delivered. I called the store the morning they where going to deliver and I got a hold of the creepy brother. He immediately got smart with me and insisted I need to pay for delivery and I was to picky about the chipped paint. And he wasn't going to touch it up. He went on saying furthermore I needed to come and pick up my stove myself or they could just leave it in the driveway.. He was an ass. I tried to explain that I don't have a truck and I have artificial knees,plus I live 600 miles away. I'm only here to make some repairs. He was so busy chewing my ass that I couldn't even get a word in. I have told everyone I know about this slob. I never asked to get a discount of 20.00 dollars or the free delivery. But he was so overbearing he just tried to walk all over me. When the stove was delivered I told the younger brother about his older brother and how extremely rude he was.. Just a week before Christmas, our old wall oven burned out the heating element. Being a 20-year old Hotpoint, was considering replacing it. My wife was able to find the replacement part on-line, so I took this info to Mike's Appliance, which was a half mile from my house. They ordered the heating element and had it in their shop the next morning. They called and asked if I wanted it installed, and when....I said "as soon as possible". They had their man out to my house in less than ten minutes. Mike Jr. had saved the day! We had previously purchased both a used upright freezer and refrigerator for the garage, so I had a good prior experience with the company.
