I want to start by saying that I don't often take the time to give reviews but for this business I had to make the time. I ordered a Kuat Pivot Pro x bike rack from the bicycle ranch online. I record an email from them stating my rack would be delivered in a couple days. The next day I got a call from the store asking if I wanted the rack assembled by the shop and delivered at no extra cost. I was like heck ya. The rack was delivered by "Paul" who explained the rack function with my wife and dropped off some extra swag. I couldn't believe it. This type of service you just don't see anymore. I noticed the rear wheel on my road bike needed truing, so I brought it to the Ranch. Nick, who is always a gentleman took care of it on the spot. He also suggested I run a lower pressure which would take the stress off the wheel and give me a more comfortable ride. I'm old school and always ran the maximum pressure the tire could handle. After 22 years going there I won't anymore. They literally broke a frame in the vice, after inspecting and accepting the bike for repair, and then claimed in was already broken. A neighbor knew my husband had a love of mountain/road biking and he went on and on about BR. I am decently new to bicycling and wanted an electric pedal assist mountain bike so I can keep up with my husband's non electric bikes. My husband talked to the owner, Markus about options. If I could give this shop 0 stars I would. I purchased my bike in February from them, took it in last weekend for a little tune-up, as well as inquiring about creaking coming from my bottom bracket. They did the tune-up, but failed to check for the creak. I took it back this weekend, 8/31, with the same creaking issue. The gentleman working the phones/desk took my bike for a spin to locate the creaking, and in that process adjusted my dropper post for his height. He came back after 3 minutes, saying he couldn't locate the creak, but my dropper post was "broken". It was working just fine before he rode it. So I take the bike in for a creaking bottom bracket and was told I need a new dropper? It doesn't make sense. I brought the bike to another shop, who basically told me the employee at Bicycle Ranch was the one who broke my dropper post cable. My dropper post is fine, just needed a new cable. It was fixed in 25 minutes at a different shop. I was told I needed a new dropper post when in reality it was just the cable that HE broke. The customer service has always been terrible, and this was the icing on the cake.I was treated like I didn't know anything about bicycles. I was told I need to spend money on something that the employee at the shop broke. I would strongly advise you to avoid this shop at all costs. read more

Amazing service! I stopped in this past weekend to ask a question about my crank making creeky noises only being 4 months old. Lou knew exactly what it was and the fix. Ended up recommending a new bottom bracket and we got talking about a better front sprocket and gave me another recommending I get that as well for better chain grip. Both my sons have Jetson electric bikes and the tubes within the tires seem to made from the same material as a ballon as they seem to pop every week. Most bike shops won't repair these they say they're a pain in the butt and not a "real" bike. This place not only took a man but repaired him in 20 minutes. This will be my go to from now on. Called in and spoke to Mike, he was very pleasant on the phone. Explained to me there is a bit of a shortage of bikes, but they had a selection in stock for us to check out. When we arrived, he greeted us and was extremely knowledgable and very patient as we tried a handful of bikes and asked a lot of questions. It was actually a fun experience for my family as we all laughed and my kids pointed out "I didn't know mama could ride a bike!" Lol! The moment they answered the phone they yelled "Bicycle Ranch... hello. HELLO?!" I briefly described what I was looking for and halfway through talking the employee said "we don't have that" and hung up. The customer service is unprofessional and clearly indicates that this business does not want or deserve your hard earned money. Markus, I appreciate you responding but I can tell you that your sales people never mentioned the policy to me. But I don't appreciate the lack of honesty. I didn't use the bike and returned it the very next day. On your website it says : Returns If there's a problem with something you purchased from us, you can either bring it to our store or ship it back. Ship returns via Ground UPS or insured US Mail (we do not accept CODs). We will refund shipping costs on damaged or incorrect merchandise. Merchandise returned that appears used will be subject to a restocking fee. (Labor fees are not refundable, i.e., custom built wheels.) Returns over $100 must have a return authorization number clearly marked on the outside of the package or the item will be refused. A return authorization number can be obtained by phone or email. THE BIKE WAS EXACTLY ON THE SAME CONDITION AS WHEN I LEFT WITH IT THE DAY BEFORE, SO WHY WAS I CHARGED THE RESTOCKING FEE? Maybe your employee didn't read the policy? He tried to tell me that that didn't apply to Bicycles and then that he had already entered the Serial Number. Please at least be honest. read more

I called in to get my chain replaced the other day. To much my surprise I believe it was Louie or Lou who checked out my bike. I disclosed that I have had it tuned up a couple of times. I still have problems with it shifting even after a couple of day after they tune it up. Well the chain is acceptable the problem was they never changed the cable because the screws are stripped in the handle that houses the cable. Well he adjusted it the best he could and it has been days now and it's working better that ever slight delay is the only issue. I appreciate what he did for me, lubed and a adjustments at no cost... they have my business from now on. I have seen Bicycle Ranch for ions now and I have never gone in before this past Saturday. They are next to Target at FLW and the 101. I went in with my older Trek bike that I didn't buy there and I bought two new Trek Marlin 5's. One for me and one for my fiancé. The service from Cliff and Wade was amazing. I told Cliff what I was looking for and he took me right to the Trek bikes and told me exactly what would work for me. He didn't oversell me or even try to up-sell me. I was impressed at not only their knowledge, but much more important, their honesty. I ended up having my old bike serviced, which was done by Harry. He would call me back and show me the chain and tell me that I could still get some use out of it. I asked how much to replace it and it was under $20 and I asked him to replace it. He would tell me if a part was damaged and asked if I wanted it replaced. He wasn't assumptive as to start replacing everything. My total maintenance cost with multiple replaced parts was only $139. Harry adjusted the brakes, the gears, replaced a broken spoke, and got the bike back in tip top shape. I went to a competitor a few years ago that charged me around $400 for the maintenance and now I realized that I was taken. I highly recommend Bicycle Ranch. These people are all excited and passionate about bikes and sell quality products at very fair prices. I know because I Googled the prices to compare when I was there. The service was stellar and they told me what I needed, but also told me what I didn't need. If you are looking for a new bike or looking to get your old one serviced, I wouldn't go anywhere other than Bicycle Ranch. read more

I have had my Cannondale in for service several times and have nothing bad to say. I am routinely greeted upon entry. I am able to have my bicycle checked in for service quickly. I really appreciate how they are adapting to the modern day by sending text messages regarding service updates including completion.
