Lovely contemporary take on tapas.
From the decor, seating and signs, you can tell the owners are a little younger here than neighboring restaurants. They bring a fun upscale presentation to traditional Spanish flavors.
The outdoor seating is great, but I hear there is an even better terrace - maybe next time I'll go upstairs.
Patas a la brava were perfectly fried, crunchy edges with generous amounts of savory red and white sauce. Delicious!
Salmorejo Cordobes, the traditional cold tomato soup, was sooooo delicious. It was a very small portion. Serving size is essentially 1 cup. I would recommend it to all as a way to start your meal.
Vegetables asados (fried vegetables) were vegetarian friendly and came w a nice spiced red sauce.
This corner is a great spot for watching pedestrians stroll by, and take in a bit of the neighborhood vibe.
Bonus: As you leave, pop right across the street to the little authentic wine/cheese/charcuterie shop owned by an older couple, it's tiny but special. read more
