Highly recommend Aurora! I found the salon on Yelp and booked an appointment with Aurora after seeing their clients pictures. I had long hair that reached below my back and I wanted layers whiles not cutting too much length. Aurora did it perfectly! I now have body and movement and it's much more manageable than how I had it. It is a bit pricey but the customer service is well worth it, plus they gave me shampoo, conditioner, treatment, and oil samples to use at home. They offer coffee and snacks while you wait and there's upbeat music in the background. The salon is very clean and chic and all the stylists were friendly. Linda is amazing. My hair had many previous henna hair color treatments which I purchased from the market. We changed the color and added highlights. Thankfully due to her skill and quality products, my hair come out great. No green tones or brittleness. The color was on target and super soft. I'd like to also comment on the quality of her products. My past experiences elsewhere, my scalp became very sensitive with chemical hair color. I felt immediate pins, needles and burning. I went for a belayage, Brazilian blowout and eye lash curl and facial. She does everything! I'm so happy with all the results from all the services, but I'm so THANKFUL for the Brazilian blowout. I have curly frizzy hair and spend a lot of time styling my hair but not anymore!!! After getting the Brazilian blowout, I now style my hair within 15 mins (blow- drying, and curling it). Before it would take me over 30 minutes (I have a lot of hair). I've gotten the Karatin treatment at a different salon and I wasn't able to wash my hair or style it for 3 days, but with the Brazilian blowout I was able to wash my hair and style it right away! My wife and I have only been coming here for 12 years. The same person Aurora Soto has been cutting mine and my wife's hair all those years. BAM! 5 minutes later and 3 LONG HAIRS AGO, I am done.. Bibi's is very fair as far as pricing goes. She does have a price scale regarding the length of your hair. SHIT mine should be freaking free. When I walked in...no greeting. Unfriendly...maybe because I was asian? I don't know. I asked for the haircut I showed the lady and it was not what it looked like at all......I can't believe I paid $42 for this haircut. I'm so upset. I'm never going back here again I guess you get what you paid for man. It was a big mistake. She gave me curls and it wasn't at all like the picture. After she combed it out which I asked her...it was still ugly. ugh I can't believe she would do my hair like this. After reading all the positive reviews, I trusted her to do a good job, but it was far from what I imagined it to be. Yes, I did ask the hair to be a little shorter than the original, but it wasn't at all close to the picture I showed her. Very upsetting. She didn't even offer to fix my hair. I had to ask her to straighten it out. I mean come on where is the customer service. She was grumpy and unfriendly... But when all these mexican women came by she greeted them. Just feel she was a little racist. I will not be returning for her service. Aside from that, the place is a little run down and all the fans were dusty. There was no AC. Disappointing. I guess you get what you paid for. Should have listened to my guts and avoided this place! Lesson learned. As in response to the owner she did not do two haircuts in fact when I asked her to do it another way she responded saying that's a whole new haircut. The first haircut did not at all reflect what was on the picture. That is why I asked to cut another way but she did not and made a complaint it was a whole new hair cut. My current hair cut is not an angled bob at all. Please be honest. My reviews are true....and I apologize if what I said was racist but it was not meant to be so.
