The owner was really sweet! I explained that I have never had Haitian food before and wanted to try it out and she took her time to explain the menu! When I say the hospitality was top tier! There was a tv with music playing it wasn't too loud neither! One thing I love about small business they really care about their customers! I WILL BE RETURNING! Felt welcomed and was greeted with a smile and conversation! Restaurant was clean and smelled so good! Prices are fairly priced! I go the chicken stew fried pork chops Mac and cheese and mixed veggies also a Haitian soda and it was $63! Food was so delicious! Will update once I get home to try the food but I couldn't help but sit down and write this review while I wait because huni the owner did it for me!!!! COME AND CHECK HER OUT! OMG THE FOOD WAS DELICIOUS! I eat the fried pork chops with the Kim chi on top and babyyyyyyyy it didn't disappoint it has a little heat or spice to it! the chicken legs and that orange sauce was sooooo good! Loved both rice and the Mac and cheese was good too now that drink taste like cream soda and it was delicious too! My fience and I are sitting here super full and both can't move! So glad we got a chance to try her restaurant out! WE WILL BE BACK TO TRY SOMETHING NEW and she also gave us the patties to try and we liked the beef patties the best! I truly enjoyed my experience here. I tried half dozen of the beef patties and I'm regretting not getting the mixed dozen. This is my first encounter with haitian patties but surely won't be my last. I prefer it compared to their Jamaican counterpart as it's lighter. Just FYI, their spicy beef version is something that she made to order, so you can call first or wait abit for the spicy beef. Owner is very accommodating and kind which is always a plus! There's like 3 or 4 seats but it's mostly takeout operation. If you like spicy, ask for their pickleez (sorry if I'm not spelling it correctly), spicy slaw to dump on ur patties. Great stuff and worth my 30+ minutes drive! read more

THIS IS THE REASON YOU STOP TO CHECK OUT UNASSUMING STOREFRONTS! Seriously. This place has a couple of tables, a display for some of their foods, and artwork (done by either the owner, or somebody that works there, which is awesome), but thassit. When you open that little box and take that first bite of that flaky, tender pastry, though, it's over. I am not sure of the seasonings that are used in the beef pastries, but they were wholly savory, with some mild sweetness brought out by onion and what seemed to be a sweet pepper. Despite the beef and veggies being tender, and moist, the pastry itself still maintained its structural integrity and flake factor perfectly. It's home-cooked, it's clearly a recipe made with love, and good lord is it addictive! What you end up getting is way better than the sum of its parts, and that much will be readily apparent to anyone that orders from here. On top of serving delicious food, they also have little facts, and artwork relevant to Haiti up on the walls. I feel like it's really cool that they're mixing artwork, and history in with their food. I learned about Bibi's from one of the Columbus food resources I subscribe to/follow (I think it was Columbus Food Adventures' newsletter) and was in the area yesterday so wanted to make a point of stopping. PLS NOTE: The Windy Creek Dr. address shown on Yelp is wrong, they're now in the shopping strip at the NE corner of 161 and Huntley Rd. (I've already submitted changes to Yelp.) It's a carry-out only operation, and you can only buy a minimum of half a dozen patties. But it's an incredible bargain -- $13 for 6 hefty patties, measuring roughly 3"x6" and a couple of inches thick, with a flaky crust and packed with the filling of your choice - beef (spicy or regular), chicken, fish, or vegetables. You can't get lunch for under $2.50 anywhere, let alone anything this good. I got chicken, wish I'd gone ahead and gotten half a dozen of the spicy beef while I was at it but there will be other chances. The filling was shredded chicken, sweet peppers, onions, and whatever spice blend they use - not "spicy", though, for the extra-cautious. The woman I talked to, I assume the owner, was warm and welcoming, and within minutes I walked out with warm patties for dinner, plus lunch today and the rest in the freezer for future meals. Bibi's Patties are AMAZING! I can see why other people on Yelp drive from out of town to get them. The website is very easy to use, and coordinating pickup was also very easy (delivery is also an option). The patties have a very buttery, flaky crust I associate with dessert pies. The flavors are amazing. I got a dozen of the spicy beef yesterday and they are delicious...and "spicy" is no lie. I noticed actual bits of cooked habanero and jalapeno embedded in the very tasty beef contents. Highly recommend! Looking forward to trying the fish patties... read more

My wife and I drove to Columbus from Detroit to get Bibi's Pattie's. Well worth the drive to get some authentic Haitian pâtés! We got some cod fish, beef and vegetable (spicy and non-spicy) to take home. Excellent, authentic Haitian pâtés! Flaky crust with plenty of well-seasoned fillings. Had two spicy beef pâtés in the car on the way home, and two spicy fish once we got home. Bibi is so nice. Now we do not have to travel to Montreal to get authentic pâtés. If you are looking for authentic pâtés, or you have never tried this food, I highly recommend you give it a try. read more

We were in Columbus for the day and I remembered on the way I saw this come up in a search for Haitian food before . We called and got a dozen .. they were fresh and piping hot !We ate half in the parking lot of IKEA and called in another order to take a dozen more home ! We tried the variety dozen (they took the time to label each one with the flavor which was much appreciated ) all of which were very good . We are used to the flaky ones we get in FL but these are even better . You get the flaky crust you are used to but with more filling ! Definitely worth trying . We hope next time we come thru Columbus that are still making them ... next time I will get two dozen now that I know the quality . Bondiye Beni ou ! read more
