Quality of some of their items has gone down or if you're looking for something specific like a certain sized battery, you may not find it. A lot of their items look more appealing and the nicer things with better quality or a well known brand are definitely over a dollar. What I liked is that the staff were easy to identify & willing/knowledgeable to help when approached... I was looking for tablecloth weights and was pointed in the right direction. This location has a security guard, but they aren't hovering around either which is nice. The lineups are now better managed by corralling the customers along a grey walled lineup, but they even display candies & chocolate at less than a buck to add to the checkout temptations. Best part is that now they accept credit card and Apple Pay in addition to their usual cash or debit!

I love fun pictures of my baby so this attempt to bring me to the store worked. Unfortunately my baby wasn't in the happiest mood. I think he was a bit scared of the bunny. It was still a cute picture. The owner was kind to offer a retake but my husband and I decided our baby was not going to warm up to the bunny. No purchase was necessary for the Polaroid picture but food bank donations were being accepted. Outside the store there was a sign that said the "Everything you didn't know you needed" Store. I thought this sign summed up this store nicely. It's a variety discount store filled with random items. It's is a great place to find a unique gift for someone. I also thought it's great to find stocking stuffers here. They have things for babies to adults. The prices I saw ranged from $5-$75. The most expensive item being an instant Polaroid camera bundle. For adults they have household items, body care items, clothes, blankets, stationary and knickknacks. For babies and kids they had mostly toys but there were also baby blankets and teethers. I bought a couple Hydroflask stainless steel water bottles for $18 each which was less expensive than usual. Fun store!

They have some Christmas stuff still, clothes, toys and some outdoor stuff like kids shovels and blow up sleds. The saddest part is that they are closing and the staff were only given a week's notice that they are all losing their jobs. I wish them all well and hope to check out the other locations to see if they are closing too. It's too bad if they are. Discount stores are getting fewer and farther between.

It's also a great place for spices and tea. If you need last minute cooking supplies, this is a great place too. On Thanksgiving day, I realized I didn't have a turkey baster. Dollarama saved the day! I also buy scrapbooking stuff here because it can be really expensive elsewhere. If you need craft supplies, check out Dollarama because it will save you a lot of money. I also came here to fill up a shoebox for Operation Shoebox this Christmas. We spent $10 and filled our box to the brim with school supplies, toys, candy, and toiletries for a child in need. It's the best place to go to do this. And if you haven't filled a shoebox yet, I really encourage you to do so. No child should be without a present to open on Christmas morning. Especially when that child doesn't even have a toothbrush or a crayon to his or her name.

This Dollar Tree has saved our bacon countless times. Seriously, I can't count the number of times that we've needed something for a project or a party and been able to stock up here. From inexpensive pop to arts and crafts supplies, from kitchen things to birthday cards, it's all good. Satisfying, with a huge parking lot out front, near to Whyte Avenue. What's not to love?

The store does have a lot of inexpensive items which are great for when one needs party favours, stationery items and other similarly inexpensive items for decor or otherwise. I only spotted one staff member on our visit so I am not sure that it is normally busy here or not, however it wasn't lined up on our trip and we got in and out fairly quickly. Mostly I would have appreciated better store organization and slightly higher quality of some items, but given the price point of an average dollar store, this place is really quite decent...
