This is a woman's store mostly for knick knacks or decorative items. But it has bedding and kitchenware. There is artwork. And some smaller furniture. What is disappointing is that moist items are made in China so you don't know if they are full of cadmium or lead. Be careful with the decorative glass jars or glass soap dishes because they are painted colours over clear glass that can peel off. One needs a good eye to spot painted glass versus real colored glass. If you see an item you like you better buy it because it may never appear again. Prices are reasonable but fakes abound. I just moved to Sherwood Park, and I was delighted to learn that there is a Homesense 5 minutes from my house. The store location is excellent! It is a very professionally managed, well stocked store. Staff are always very friendly & accommodating. Its tough to go in "just to look" lol! Five stars? Yes, Five stars! Why? Where do I start? Prices. Best prices, hands down for unique and often one of a kind merchandise. Merchandise variety. Unbelievable variety from towels, to books, to food, to furniture, to chocolate, to kitchen gadgets, to crystal, to... did I mention chocolate? All top names and high end too! Food. Yes, food! Unique, fancy and yummy stuff to fill your pantry! Things that you are not likely to easily find elsewhere. And LOTS of Gluten Free and organic goodies too! Return policy. 10 days with receipt. No limit with their TSJ card. The card is free and entitles you to special early bird shopping events. Staff. The staff at the Sherwood Park location are always so nice and helpful! I only go to Homesense when I need to buy something because I always end up buying more than I intended on. The place is addictive and if I just go to "browse", I can guarantee you that I will walk out carrying one of their giant bags! Now, be careful when buying anything. Sometimes there is a little flaw, that's one of the reasons for the low prices. So look your item over carefully. If you find a flaw but still want the item, take it to the cashier and point the flaw out. They will give you a discount. BONUS!!! Hmmm... Thanksgiving is coming up...I think I need a turkey baster. As always, Homesense has so many great products for the current season. It's a great place to pop in for anything for your home, great gift ideas or just to spend some time dreaming and being inspired. If I had all the monies and all the space to put it all, I would have come home with about five new journals, enough pillows to fill a dozen couches, the most beautiful lamps and canvas prints, new sheets for every day of the week, mugs for any beverage you could ever want to drink, three rolling pins and more. And so much outdoor patio furniture, pots, outdoor decor and more that I would have to have acres and acres of property to be able to put it all out. I'm specifically on a hunt for my absolute favourite wrapping paper (seriously, if you want to get into a conversation with me about the need for this most unbelievable wrapping paper and why you need it in your life, I will absolutely tell you about it.) that I've only been able to find through the Homesense family. Unfortunately, this Homesense too is out of my fav, with the sales person citing that they only have wrapping paper around the holidays. I don't believe this to be true as the patterns I've bought before are not holiday specific but regardless, it seems to be a challenge to find what I'm looking for. Four stars only for the disappointing customer service. The above associate was easy to track down and ask her questions, but we found that the rest of the associates today were so into their tasks that they forgot to say excuse me when pushing past with carts of product or offer a friendly hello or smile. We'll still be back though, as we find something to bring home every time we visit and always have fun looking through all of their great merchandise, that is forever evolving and growing with the seasons. read more

I absolutely love Home sense! They have it all there and you can always find such great deals, not once have I walked out of the store empty handed. Pretty much my entire home has been decorated and stocked with stuff from home sense. Even my apartments are all furnished from Home Sense and they all look different and great! Like most other reviews I can definitely agree this is my happy place to shop and spend a couple of hours browsing for new things to switch up my home. Especially when the holidays come around. They always have neat and cool things on display that I fall in love with. Some days I even have to call my Fiancé to meet me with the truck as I leave the store with 3 carts full of things! My absolute favourite place hands down, and I always bring home a toy or treats for my puppies, they have a pretty great pet section too! read more

If you have just moved to Sherwood Park you must come here to shop for your house. Bedding, pictures, kids décor, kitchen gadgets, mirrors, rugs, lamps, furniture and items for the wall....everything your house needs. I also come here for hairspray and shampoo.
