Next level on the delicious scale! We came to Stratford for an event and ended up here after asking our concierge where to eat. This place is NYC level amazing. If you are able, come in and enjoy.

Came here for my sister's birthday dinner. The restaurant is nice inside, very clean, and I love the dim lighting. To start off with, we ordered Calamari Fritti - which was under cooked. We also ordered the Veal Riccotta Balls - Basil, sanmarzano, w/creamy polenta. The flavors were there but I found them to be too chewy. I did enjoy the polenta with it tho, never had that with meatballs before and it was delicious. For my entree I ordered L' Aragosta Di Ravioli - Hand made stuffed lobster ravioli simmered in a sweet sherry pink sage reduction sauce. I love that the pasta is hand made and the filling was delicious! Best lobster ravoli I've tasted so far. The staff was great! We really enjoyed our evening.

Food was so delicious and the wait staff was incredibly kind and attentive. The power went out due to a big thunderstorm during our meal and the staff was very apologetic yet reassuring. The special was delicious, came out piping hot and was so filling I have a full meal ready to take home with me for the next day! I almost left my bag and our waiter stopped me to give it back, but first trying on the bag himself. Overall: very friendly and incredibly welcoming establishment

Updating my review from year's ago I still feel it is 4 star ENTRANCE - always greeted with the utmost congeniality. We pretty much know everyone but they treat everyone like they are guests in their home MENU - post COVID the menu is much smaller than pre-pandemic. There are specials worth a look and while a smaller selection there is something for everyone APPETIZERS - I love their broccoli rape dish. Best I've had. Never bitter and always succulent. Don't miss out on the meatballs option. You won't regret it. ENTREES - I love the veal chop with parsnips and the fruit sauce. Today I tried something new and will review at a later date Wife needs gluten free and they are very accommodating so no worries if you are in the same boat VINO - pretty good choices. They have Joel Gotte and Mondavi. Never tried the house. Nice if you like red wine. DESERT - didn't have time so I'll clue you in at another date. PRICE - not for the thin wallet. But the food is worth the extra. Portions are solid so give it a try.

Love this place. I've reviewed this place in the past and can honestly say they have gotten only better. This is our go to place when we can't decide where else to go. The food is always delicious. The ambiance is amazing and the service is spectacular. I love the double cut pork chop, it is always cooked to perfection and served with sweet potato. I highly recommend this place it never disappoints. I suggest you call for a reservation but you can also show up and be served.

Another great night at Fratelli's - Milford, CT…read more This was our fourth visit to Fratelli's, and it continues to deliver. We started with the wedge salad, which sounds simple on paper but was anything but. Crisp iceberg, a rich blue cheese that actually tasted like blue cheese, and bacon that somehow turned iceberg lettuce into heaven -- not an easy feat. Cocktails were excellent. My wife had a blueberry lemonade that she absolutely loved, and I went with an Old Fashioned that was perfectly balanced. Liz behind the bar consistently makes great cocktails, and last night was no exception. For dinner, I had the halibut piccata over spinach. Perfectly cooked, beautifully presented, and full of bright, clean flavor. The fish was delicate, the piccata sauce was just right, and honestly... there was no chance of leftovers. None. My wife ordered the eggplant rollatini. Portions were generous, and she happily brought half home -- which tells you everything you need to know. She called it divine, and I believe her. Our server, Matt, was excellent -- friendly, attentive, and paced the meal perfectly without ever hovering. Service like that really elevates the whole experience. Warm atmosphere, thoughtful food, generous portions, and consistently solid execution. Fratelli's has become one of those places we keep coming back to -- and recommending. We'll definitely be back.
