Service and food once again top notch. The spiedini is the best around, and the chicken rollatini capri pairs well with a glass of Riesling. Dessert menu now offers a warmed Nutella brownie drizzled with caramel & with a scoop of ice cream on the side. Cindy was our server & everything was outstanding.

I really enjoyed another meal here! We started out at the bar for happy hour. Bartender was amazing and made me a delectable chocolate martini. I also tried the toasted coconut martini, which was excellent. For entrées, I had the chicken Parm and spaghetti with a Caesar salad and my friend got the pasta Bolognese. The Caesar was cold and crisp and perfect. The pastas were tasty and hit the spot. I will definitely be back when I'm in the area! The bar area is fun and people are very social.

I'll Definitely Be Back for Round Three! This was my second visit to this cozy gem, and I'm already excited for the third! The service is truly exceptional--warm, attentive, and genuinely helpful. They've mastered that perfect balance with the ambiance too--background music that's enjoyable but never too loud to drown out conversation. I kicked off the evening with a delicious dry vodka martini, while my companion enjoyed the house chianti, which was more than fine for a casual night out. We were welcomed with complimentary bread and butter, a nice touch that set the tone for a great meal. We both started with the Caesar salad--super fresh and flavorful. A quick tip: if you prefer a lighter touch on the dressing, ask for it on the side. The eggplant rollatini? Pretty solid. The chicken francais was very good, with perfectly sautéed carrots and zucchini on the side. However, the mashed potatoes were a bit underwhelming for me. Just butter, milk, salt, and pepper would've hit the mark. But the meal ended on a high note with a great cup of coffee and their house-made apple cake--a sweet and satisfying finish. Bonus points for the location: just a 10-minute walk from the Hartford Healthcare Amphitheater, making it a perfect pre-show stop. Will I be back? No doubt about it!

Knew this restaurant was going to be excellent from the moment we walked in! The staff were very attentive and friendly. The restaurant is beautifully lit during the day very nice atmosphere. The Sunday Sauce is an incredible meal. Don't make plans after because you will be STUFFED! The roasted red peppers in the anti past to the tender porchetta was all great!!! Went for my dad's birthday and the whole family enjoyed the meal. Would definitely be back

Great service. The butter for the bread was awesome. The veal tasted wonderful. Servings were large.

Doesn't get much better than a nice meal over at Ralph and Rich's. Came here on an early Saturday night with my wife and we're seated in the lounge. Started off with some drinks I got a beer and she got an expresso martini which she loved. Bread is delicious as well, good service from both the waiter and the bus boy. It's a cozy Italian place, dimly lit, red painting on the walls, doesn't get much more Italian. They have parking in the lot behind the building which they validate just as an FYI. I ordered the chicken parm, how could I not? Two good size cutlets with cheese and there rich sauce, drooling thinking about. Loved the portion of pasta that comes with it, just enough. My wife got the chicken piccata which came with veggies and a mixed mashed potato mix which had some sweet potato in it, she liked it but maybe would opt in for something else as a side next time. Didn't realize they also have a nice patio in the back for summertime, I'll have to keep that in mind.

I had dinner here before a concert. A family friend suggested it. The restaurant is nice and the service was good. Sadly the food was not enjoyable. We ordered a few things and shared. I'm usually not a fan of mushrooms but the stuffed mushrooms were good. The filling was flavorful. The eggplant rollintini and coconut shrimp were okay, nothing special. The spicy steak was good. It had a little spice but not overpowering. The sauce served with it was not good, I don't think it compliments the steak. The Mozzarella was horrible. No one could eat it. I think the food here lacks flavor. I personally wouldn't return. But the important thing is we had a good night together.

Came for the food and enjoyed from beginning to end. Is a lovely and tradicional Italian restaurant in downtown Bridgeport Beautiful decor and seating arranged I ordered Fiorentine oyster as an appetizer, broiled salmon and my guests opted both for the chicken Parmesan All plates came quickly and well prepared. Warm bread and butter with grated cheese on the side. After meal, Ralph the owner and chef greeted my guest and send over a plates with cookies (almond and chocolate biscotti) that we enjoyed them with an espresso (skipped dessert this time) the had a seasonal pumpkin cognac cheesecake that sounded interesting to try.

Excellent Pork chop. Done perfectly with mashed potatoes and sliced roasted vegetables. Service was very good with a number of servers and bus boys. Table setting at outside window and comfortable. Good volume as curtain dampened sounds of other tables

It was delicious! This time, I reserved a table for four, including guests who were up to an adventurous evening. The place was hopping! A Friday evening fun atmosphere and a beautiful bar that reminded me of a Paris restaurant. We were seated at a great table with banquettes in a corner of the front dining room. Our waitperson was excellent- energetic, informed of the menu, friendly & interactive, I believe her name was Shamira. We received great recommendations for dishes on the menu accommodating certain preferences. Following Cocktails - from the usual order of Scotch, to the " Crimson" spicy, indeed. The "Wanderer" imbiber said she could sip them all night. I, being mostly just a wine drinker, ordered from the "unusual wines" - a delicious white wine from Languedoc named "Picpoul De Pinet, Feline Jourdan", which paired very well with both courses. Based on my enthusiasm we all shared a bottle with our Main Course! Total alignment. We shared Caesar salads, which were excellent. Everyone enjoyed their selection of a main course: Halibut with corn risotto, Shrimp & Grits with spicy red sauce (just right spicy), My dish was Mussels in ginger & lemongrass red Curry, paired with grilled bread for soaking up that sauce, Yum!; a Whole Red Snapper with Mole sauce for my husband - most adventurous diner of the evening! We stretched ourselves to order two desserts: Crème Brûlée and Goat Cheesecake! Sublime. On departing the Restaurant, we were thanked for dining by the Proprietor, Wesley. We had an inspiring conversation about Bridgeport's future. A memorable evening.

Should have been my first clue. The pizzas in the display case all looked enticing (although nothing labeled or priced) and I decided to get a Gramma slice along with the eggplant special listed for the day. I also got the ricotta/spinach bread showcased in the display case. I asked if the eggplant was a platter or a grinder/sandwich, and was told it was a sandwich. Great. Well, there was no grinder, no Italian bread, roll, but what looked to be either pizza or calzone dough made into bread like slices. Interesting. The taste wasn't great and it was difficult to pick up to eat without all falling apart, so I decided to remove the top piece of "bread" and eat it with a fork and knife. There was 1 piece of eggplant, 1 piece on each sandwich half. One. Eggplant Parm is cooked and then the slices layered, and usually there are at least 3-4 layers, but not this. The eggplant had many seeds in it indicating the eggplant is past its prime-not the freshest -and the seeds add a bitter taste. Not pleasing. Gobs of cheese atop the bread, but no Parmesan detected. The ricotta spinach was an inedible unappetizing mess of stringy cheese and overcooked spinach. The Gramma slice was ok but I would not return for this. The decor is great and the service was fine, but the food was not good and ended up in the garbage! Ugh! On street parking in downtown Bridgeport. I will not be returning nor recommending.

We sat at the bar, and I liked how spacious the place is. It has that industrial brewery vibe, a large dining room, and outdoor seating. It's also within walking distance of the arena, so this is a good spot to grab food and drinks and or meet with your group before a concert or event. The pizza is thin crust and has a similar style to New Haven pizza. The flavor was great, but I felt like the center wasn't crispy enough to hold the slice up. It made things a little messy because the middle would flop while eating it. We ordered three small pies so we could try a few different combinations. One was the Weekend Special, which was a red pie with garlic, fresh basil, buffalo mozzarella, pepperoni, meatball, shaved Parmesan, and oregano. The small was $27, which I thought was pretty pricey for the portion. The other two were build your own pie; one white pie with basil and ricotta, and one red pie with pepperoni, meatball, and green pepper. All three pizzas tasted great. My main issue was the texture of the center. I prefer my pizza crispy enough that I can actually pick up a slice without everything sliding or folding over. Service was friendly and attentive enough, although I thought it was a little odd that my bartender disappeared and someone else took over without any explanation. My man tried a few of the beers and enjoyed being able to sample different options, while I went with a margarita flight. Overall, I liked the atmosphere and the pizza was tasty, but I definitely felt the pizzas were overpriced for the size and what you get.

I am a mail carrier with very little access to restrooms on the routes. So today, although I did not make a purchase today, I stopped there this morning to use the restroom. I again then tried to use the bathroom just now 3/2 @ 5pm and the young lady who is the cashier had an attitude and said to me that I basically shouldn't think that I can just come there and use their bathroom, and that I have to be a customer.
