I went about my shopping and when I got in line to check out the manager (didn't even say hello or who she was or any sort of pleasantry) immediately said "we cannot sell you the starry" and that the "store wasn't authorized to sell it". I tried to tell her the cashier price checked it for me, and she ignored me and TOOK THE CASE OF SODA OUT OF MY CART. Literally moved my things aside and pulled the soda out and walked off. I finally had it with their attitudes and I told them I would be sending a bad review and letting someone know about the horrible rude service I was receiving and they stopped complaining. The manager started by sighing loudly and in a loud voice complain she was trying to take her break when she was asked to help me by an associate. After I told them I would be complaining about them, they changed the tone and instead of complaining to started talking to me like I was stupid... talking to me slowly and loudly. I asked Kris to not speak to me like that and she just laughed. Manager said "make sure you tell them we gave you a discount we didn't have to". Again, rudely. And also told me I didn't know what kind of day she'd had. (So she takes it out on me -the customer???) At this point it wasn't about the discount, it was about the horrible customer service I received in front of all other customers.

I'm not sure what competition I entered when I come in. I guess people hang out there all day since I see them standing around. I guess everyone has a resale business but let's be civilized people. The store seems friendly clean and pricing is fair. I wish some items they would negotiate prices like the set of encyclopedias I bought I paid for each individual book instead of selling them to me for like 10 bucks. Good experience most of the time here and I find good stuff.
