Consistently Late. Negligent. Unprofessionalism. Mistreatment.
I decided to pursue alternative treatments for my 12 years old dog. As a former customer of Arya Animal Acupuncture my experience with this holistic animal care center was not good. Dr Bhatt was approximately 15-30+ minutes late on each occasion.
First Visit @ 9am: Dr. Bhatt walked in 20 minutes late. My dog had x-rays and received his very first acupuncture with electric shock treatments from a Practitioner in training, not Dr. Bhatt. 4-hours later, we were done.
Second Visit @ 10am: Dr. Bhatt strolled in 20-30 minutes late. She appeared to be frazzled, rushing back-n-forth coping with a multitude of urgent needs - a constant yappy dog, a couple new Practitioners in training, a full house of Patients, plus forgetting Colleagues names in the process, seemingly eager to catch up. At one fleeting gasp, I overheard her gasp to a staff member for a much needed cup of coffee! Before leaving, Dr Bhatt proclaimed my dog's x-rays should have been emailed after my first visit, but they were not. She announced aloud to the whole staff it must have been an internal office issue and assured it would be rectified. A 2-hour visit and she forgot two needles in my dog's leg.
Third Visit @10am: This visit my dog was scheduled to have a sizable cyst removal from the temple near his eye. Upon arrival we noticed the Dr. Bhatt had not arrived. Instead of going inside and waiting again because my older dog has trouble walking and laying on hard floors, we opted to wait in the car. A bit hypersensitive knowing he was about to be sedated and undergo surgery, 10:20 still no Doctor in sight. Feeling extremely uncomfortable, uncertain, and nervous remembering Dr. Bhatt's frazzled demeanor from our previous visit - this time around was a solid hard pass and we drove away. After leaving the parking lot followed an official phone call to the office cancelling the appointment. The lack of trust and confidence hit its three strikes mark.
Her office did not make one customary attempt to explain, apologize, or clarify the kerfuffle. Perhaps tell a Client the Doctor is running late, or consider rescheduling, or recommend afternoon appointments to work around the tardiness. It is rude, inconsiderate, and cruel to keep a Patient or an elderly dog waiting, as a result deviating set plans for the day.
Later that evening a dismissive, passive-aggressive, combative and abrasive Weronika, (the Veterinary Practice Manager) emailed a scathing, unprofessional, immature, and belittling letter cancelling our account. If it could be legally posted, it would be for All to read its absurdity. It entailed absolute tactlessness, lack of education, and insensitivity from a "Manager".
Overall this facility, Dr. Bhatt, and the Staff must take accountability for evident malpractice and bad behavior toward their Clientele.
Still waiting for the x-rays from over a month ago. A service rendered and paid. read more
