I moved to Illinois a year ago and was worried about having my Chi get used to a new vet. I was a little anxious about getting my Chi under anesthesia but Dr. Kaczor and staff at this hospital were warm, friendly and informative. Dr. Kaczor provided frequent updates during my dog's dental work. She seems like she cares and is knowledgeable. I'm moving to the city in a couple months but I think I'll keep coming back to this hospital.

Had a horrible experience, would never go there again. Only reason my dog is alive today is because we got a second opinion somewhere else.

We called when we arrived and a vet tech spoke to us about our dogs and any concerns we had. Dr. Mey then called after her initial exam to go over her findings and treatment plan. Once again, Dr. Mey was very kind and patient with all my questions! She also let us know that Buddy and Maya were doing great in the exam room and that they seemed comfortable. I appreciate the attention to details since we aren't able to be in the room with them at this time. I also appreciate that the vet kept detailed records and followed up on some concerns from our appointment last year. I just can't recommend this office enough. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming! I love knowing Maya and Buddy are in good hands here. We recently moved to the area and needed to find a vet for our dogs. I'm glad I listened to all the 5 star reviews for Golf-Mil on Yelp. I called to make an appointment and Olivia was very helpful on the phone. She helped get all our old vet records transferred over which I really appreciate. We went in for our appointment today and Nicole at the front desk was very friendly and welcoming. We saw Dr. Mey and she patiently answered all of our questions. Our dogs can get very nervous at the vet, but Dr. Mey took her time to make them feel comfortable. I'm so glad we have a place we can trust with our pets here

From spaying to dental work to annual exams plus more, this hospital, its incredible facilities and setting, and both front office and professional staff have been top notch. In the recent past, veterinarian Jennifer Draca, DVM has added another tier of service to the mix. Dr. Draca is a compassionate clinician who treats our fur baby like her own. Her patient treatments start conservative for our pet's comfort (and our "pocketbook") and other services are added as necessitated. Dr. Draca is a proponent of human grade dog food which she believes makes a difference vs highly processed kibble. She also recommends conservative Chinese medicine for her patients. Dr. Drama's demeanor is friendly and caring and her patient after visit summaries far exceed any summaries we have received from our human hospital system! We are grateful for Dr. Draca! She rocks!

I've been taking my Himalayan Persian, Ezra, here for grooming about four times a year, paying…read more$100+ a visit and tipping 20%, for the last 3 years. This last appointment made me reconsider that. The booking was made a month in advance. She needed medication beforehand, ideally 4 hours ahead of the appointment. She had half the dose in her system by 8am, but since she wouldn't eat the rest right away, she didn't finish it until 11am. I called ahead to give them a heads up that I was on my way. By the time I was 5 minutes from the salon, fully medicated and ready to go, they called to say they wanted to reschedule. I was also running about 20 minutes behind because I'd been at the hospital that morning with a family member's medical emergency. Given that Ezra had already been given her medication for the appointment, rescheduling meant that was essentially wasted, and the earliest they could get us back in was the week of September 14th, two weeks out. When I said that was a real inconvenience, I was told they'd "see if Ezra was relaxed," but by then I was already on my way home. I understand appointments run on a schedule, but for a loyal client, there was no attempt to work with me given the circumstances. Between the wasted medication and the two-week gap before we can get back in, this didn't need to happen. I'd like to hear from management on how this gets resolved. Now I've lost an hour of my day between driving back and forth because of all this.
