My 2018 Camry was having intermittent electrical issues, so I took it to Lou Fusz, where I had purchased it. A couple hundred dollars worth of "diagnostic work" lead them to recommend $2000 worth of replacement parts, fluids and labor, none of which addressed any electrical issues. After that nightmare, I called Precision Import Auto, and, over the phone, they not only had a theory for what was going wrong, they actually recommended that I take my car somewhere else because they didn't have the equipment to deal with that specific part, rather than have me come in and charge me for diagnostics when they knew there was a good chance they wouldn't be able to fix it.

When the engine failed, I contacted EcoTech for service. I spoke with Misha, who quoted me $3,500 for the repair. After they received the car and disassembled it, Misha called and increased the price to over $7,000. Feeling I had no other options, I reluctantly agreed. I expected a rebuilt or new engine, but what I received looked like a junkyard unit. It used very old parts, and none of the brand-new components from my original engine were transferred over. I strongly suspect my good parts were kept and reused on other jobs. To make matters worse, the car now performs significantly worse than before. It feels very weak, with sluggish acceleration (0-60 mph in about 20 seconds) and constantly needs to downshift even on minor inclines just to maintain speed. I had also purchased new wheels after lowering the car, specifically ordering them with metal valve stems at an extra cost. EcoTech neither installed the new valve stems nor transferred the TPMS sensors from my old wheels. Additionally, they sent the car to an alignment shop and told me it would cost $120. I agreed because it was cheaper than my usual shop's $150 rate. However, I was ultimately charged $170 by the shop they recommended. Overall, I felt taken advantage of by EcoTech due to my limited knowledge of Subarus. Buyer beware -- I would never recommend or use them again.

It was expensive, but after comparing prices with other spots and doing my research, it was a bit less than what others have been charged for the same. It was ready the next day, and it was so nice to have a fully working ac in the heat again. I've had no issues since. He kept questioning whether I had the right place, repeating, "We're Big Bend Auto Center, not the other Big Bend Auto store." Why would I be calling if I wasn't sure? It came off as condescending. Then he told me I couldn't wait for my car, and when I asked again--just to clarify if I could wait while they did the estimate--he rudely said no. At that point, I decided to take my business elsewhere. If you can't treat your customers with basic respect, why would I trust you with my car? It's disappointing, especially since they have decent reviews on Yelp and Google. I expected better. Unfortunately, my experience was the complete opposite.
