They had to remove apart in order to do that and turns out it was 2 quarts low on transmission fluid. The car has been running perfect ever since I called this company and told them about it and all they told me was they were sorry and that the mechanic that checked out my car no longer works there. My dad would've never gotten rid of this car just because it had low transmission fluid. Apparently we were being scammed for a new transmission.

I called CK who came out, tested the alternator and found out that the alternator was fine, but it did need a new battery. they replaced the battery and the new serpentine belt within a half an hour. They were extremely courteous, and honest, and the fact that they didn't replace the alternator that did not need it. I obviously will not go back to Dobbs anymore as they tried to rip off my 90-year-old mother. I highly recommend CK.

This resulted in the caliper shifting from its original position and locked up the wheel. I had to have the repair done in Minneapolis. The car dealership where I had the repairs done documented that the reason the bolts came out was that they were not properly torqued at the time of installation. Corporate Car-x refuses to do anything because it is a franchise store. This franchise store's customer service representative told me that the "lifetime warranty" was nearly a year old and the "warranty" was only good at that store. He told me that he did not believe me or the dealership that the caliper bolts fell out, and that the documentation of the repair could be fraudulent. Both corporate Car-X and the management of this Car-X franchise refused to do anything about their mistake. The franchise representative was very rude. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS FRANCHISE CAR-X!
