In order to stop the foreclousure we had to get the entire townhouses outlets, switches and lightfixtures rewired from aluminum to copper. My uncle was batteling early stages of dimentia and didnt know where to turn. Some of the original bids he had were absoluely highway robberey. That was when I stepped in and found Tim with Watts Up Electric. Tim was sympathetic of the aweful situation we were in. He worked dilligently to get us in compliance with the HOA . His prices were fair as he is an honest contractor. I am forever grateful that we found his company because had we not the HOA would have surely taken my Uncles home leaving him on the street. I cant say enough good things about this company. Do your homework, get estimates from a few different places . Because there is a few companies out there that will quadruple charge that is 4 times the going rate. They get away with it because we as consumers dont know any better. I can assure you that Watts Up Electric works with integrity. Their pricing is more than fair. Tim seriously saved the day. What an awesome electrician. I will never use another electrician as long as i live. I will forever use this company.

Well, either way, let me give you some helpful advice: Run, run, run for the hills! Avoid this company like the plague. These guys charge more than the competition and the quality of their workmanship is just awful. Pathetic! We hired these clowns to replace our crummy 100 amp panel with a 200A panel, and add two new circuits to our service, including a 240v circuit to the garage. Where they installed conduit, it looked great. But they didn't run the ground wires in any conduit and it looks like a kid did it. Other things: 1. They ran ground through the siding and into the crawlspace to the water line. They didn't caulk the hole they drilled into the siding. 2. They left trash all over my backyard. 3. They took one of my brand-new shovels. 4. An outlet inside my house stopped working after they left. 5. After Excel came out to inspect the finished job and said my new panel needed a slip joint where the line entered the concrete, American Electrician's owner initially refused to install the slip joint. He said Excel would allow a variance. Excel said bullshit, and only then did American Electrician agree to do it, or my power would be cut off. 6. Today, about 4 months after they finished their work, I went outside to flip one of the breakers so I could cut power to my dishwasher. One problem: the breaker labeled "dishwasher" cut the power to my son's bedroom upstairs. I started flipping breakers and found the one labeled "master bedroom/bathroom" cut power to my dishwasher. It doesn't get more amateurish than this. Take my advice: save yourself the headache. Use a reputable company like plumbline, Topping

Erik worked alongside his son and an apprentice, and all three were incredibly kind, polite, and easy to have in our home, even with kids around. I felt completely comfortable and trusted them enough to leave them alone in the house. They worked quickly but carefully and clearly took pride in doing things the right way. They went out of their way to minimize wall damage, including crawling through crawlspaces just to avoid unnecessary repairs. The work was clean, efficient, and thoughtfully done. Erik's pricing was shockingly fair- about a quarter of what other electricians quoted us, and the quality was truly excellent. I was so impressed that I ended up giving them additional work on the spot. Honest, respectful, and hardworking. This is the kind of electrician you hope to find, and we'll definitely be calling Erik again.

I moved into my new home about 6+ months ago and…read morewas referred to this electrician by a "Team Dave Logan" booklet that was sent to my house in the mail. Within the booklet, there was a coupon for $50 off any electrical service and "Free Estimates!" Seemed like a good start, so I called Williams & Sons. Tim Williams (owner) is very friendly and generally is a good communicator. He was punctual during the initial assessment and his team was on time the following day to commence work. Tim's assessment determined that replacing two circuit breakers should do the trick. Tim assures me that these circuit breakers are $85/each and that it should be a quick and inexpensive job. Here is where things go wrong... 1. I call Tim after the two circuit breakers have been replaced, noting that there was no statement of work provided to me and I never received any type of $ estimate prior to work commencing. I shared my concern with Tim that I did not want to receive any kind of surprise invoice. He assured me it "wouldn't be that bad" and he was surprised that there was never an estimate provided to me. 2. Within the hour of my concerned phone call, he sends me an invoice for $650 for a job that could have taken his 2-person team about ~30 mins. Within this invoice, Tim tries to charge me $140 for his initial assessment (lasted 10 mins) and another $340 for labor which was never discussed or agreed-upon. 3. Thankfully, Tim was understanding in coming to a more reasonable price, and reduced the bill down to $350 after providing him the "free estimate" / $50 off coupon. 4. Fast forward 1 month. The problem persists and the replacement of the circuit breakers did not remedy the issue at all. I texted Tim to ask him if he could come by to re-assess the situation since the invoice clearly states that their work is covered by a "1 Year Guarantee." Tim ignores my first text. The next day I text him again to which his response is "Sorry, I don't have anyone who can help you. My team is spread too thin." Uh, what? So much for the guarantee? To me, this job felt like a quick grab and dash. $350 down the drain. Avoid.
