Me and my husband decided to try this place out bc who doesn't love a good burger?? I have the Bleu burger and it was ok. Burger didn't have much flavor but toppings were ok. My husband got the popper burger and it was cooked medium. Mine was as well but he can't eat hamburger with any pink and I can. I would think they would cook the burgers at least to medium well but they didn't. So he asked for them to re-cook the burger. They made him a new one and it was cooked perfectly but they didn't put the jalapeño's on it!!! Like what??? He said the burger was good but wished it had the jalapeños on it. Probably won't go back but glad we tried it. read more

In short, go to Easy Street Café for better burgers for the same price. The burgers aren't bad, they are just too expensive for what they are. BG-Burgers lost their customizability as well. I'm under the impression that this place is under new ownership, which may explain the below average service. The wait for food & drinks was a little longer than expected and we would go often without seeing a server. There seemed to be a lot of workers in a small space and not everyone was actually occupied. I'm not sure what the issue was with the service, however I'm confident that through time it'll sort itself out. Onto the food! I was really happy when I read they had homemade potato chips and they were actually really good! You can get a few flavors but I just stuck with the original... super crunchy and delicious!! The coolest part about their menu is that yes, they have some speciality burgers... but you can basically build your own, too. And the menu walks you through basically every step and ingredient into constructing your own personal burger. The burgers were all seasoned well and cooked just the way we asked for them. They were really good and the portion size was great! I just really enjoy the burgers & potato chips here. They also serve Cheesecake Factory cheesecake which is an added bonus. A few other ~minor~ dislikes: the use of single use cups & straws. That's a lot of cups that end up tossed daily and I really feel like they only need to be used if someone gets a to go order or asks for a to go drink. Every chair I tried in the joint wasn't leveled correctly or something. The chairs were wobbly. The table was also wobbly. There's a random round table stuck back in the corner and I feel like it just seemed out of place. All together I think this place is really good. The food is great and makes up for the service mishaps. In the future I'd expect that to straighten itself out. I do really wish they'd start using reusable cups though rather than giving every one a cup that'll end up in the garbage. read more

So I was the one to create the original Yelp page for "BurGers", and since then there have been a few changes for the better. First off there is a new Yelp page, and a simplified name I guess? I'm assuming some patrons were confused and didn't get the wordplay name? So now we have BG- Burgers. I'll focus on what is new and what has remained in shape since my previous grand opening visit. First off, the burgers are still very big and extremely filling. The 1/2 burger with all your customised toppings and breads, paired with the generous portion of steak fries should be enough to satiate your hunger. The meat is now supplied by the local Belleville butchers, and you can tell that there is a difference in the juiciness. There are some new cheese options, mainly the fresh and smoked mozzarella. And as I mentioned earlier, there are steak fries now, which replace the original wedges. I'm a big fan of all the changes I saw and tasted. The best change I noticed above all, was that the service had a major improvement! There is table service, which does imply a tip...but it's very attentive, kind, and always ready to answer a question, refill your soda, or discuss the current Bob Ross episode. I don't recall if there were teles when it first opened, but I sat down enjoying my Jinx burger (Medium meat, Ketchup, Bacon, red onion, Fried egg overhard) while watching about three episodes of Bob Ross. Very tasteful, very very calming. While there's only one dedicated large table in the back corner, most of the tables fit four and have a spacious enough bubble to eat comfortably. Space is still the same, but I do think there are new wallpaper designs and an overall clean and very temperature cool atmosphere. No wifi though (that I have been informed via messaging is Wrong). There is wifi, so I assume you just need to ask for the password. *There is also delivery and take-out, for those interested. From what I saw, calling ahead will take roughly 30 min to finish cooking your order. So to deliver, it's safe to say it would take the average city time of 45 minutes. read more

Family of 5 adults and a 6 year old went here before the BGSU hockey on Saturday. This was the first time for 3 of us. There is a large menu to choose from and you order from the counter. 5 of us got different type of burgers and 1 got an Italian sub. We all loved our food! The sides were excellent. We got their chips, cheese curds,and fries. The cheese curds and fries were so crispy and very tasty. The food came very quickly. I regret not taking any food pictures. Stopped in the other night. We ordered some burgers to eat there and some subs to go. Service was subpar and no one seemed to really know what they were doing. One burger was over cooked the other was undercooked with blood dropped on the top of the bun and a puddle of blood on the tray. The weird thing is the blood didn't look like it had dripped out of the cooked burger. The homemade chips tasted stale and old with no bbq seasoning. Waited an hour for 3 subs to go. The subs were out of this world good. I would definitely go back for the subs but I will order ahead to go. They should just drop the burger nonsense and stick with the Dibenedetto subs. read more

So glad this place is under new management and changed up the ingredients. The fries were so much better this time around & you can taste the quality meat they use for their burgers! Really glad we came back to give it another shot. Now we have another place in BG that we haven't fully explored and can't wait to! The jalapeño popper burger was delicious, but the burger itself was enormous (note: you should cut the burger in half and take the other half home for later instead of trying to be a champion) really can't wait to try more of the menu like the cheesecake & ice cream they offer and big salads! We were having a bit of a lazy, order out for dinner kind of Sunday so we figured that we would try the new iteration of BG-Burgers. My Cuban sandwich had almost no meat on it and although the pork was flavorful the ham was so salty and thin that it could easily have been confused for country ham. The burger my wife ordered was big but not on flavor. The to go containers were also problematic. There was no steam holes so everything inside, French fries and fried pickles, turned to mush. Awful service. Incredibly slow doing anything--taking orders, refilling drinks, getting food out, etc. Over an hour to an hour to get our food after we arrived. I made the mistake of ordering the ham and & cheese sandwich with fries, $8.95 at a burger joint. However, I imagined a sandwich priced that high I would receive a thick stack of smoked ham, plus the assorted cheeses as well. What I did receive instead was one tiny paper thin slice of ham, barely detectable nor could I even taste the ham after taking a bite. I have never complained in my life, but this time I had no choice. I advised them to either take it OFF the menu, or put it on the "kiddie" menu at half the price. They offered to make me another one, but I declined. I took the sandwich home, and doctored it up by adding more ham, enough that a normal person while making a ham sandwich does. Which makes me wonder what the cook was thinking, while placing one, tiny teensy paper thin slice of ham on a "Ham and Cheese" sandwich. Is that how you make your own for yourself???? read more
