I've been coming here for almost a decade now and I can't complain…read more Tseday (the owner) does everything. Not like some salons where someone washes your hair another person colors your hair ect. she does it all herself which I love. She's alway very punctual with her scheduling. All areas of the salon are clean (bathroom, workstations & back room). I'm a natural hair person, when I first came to her 9 years ago, I use to her process my hair and she was like "why are u doing that? STOP" I listened and to this day I love my naturally curly hair. Her hair skills... Awsome ! I've had everything from a simple wash & sets to color, keratin & sew-ins. She's so detailed with her sew-ins they last for months! I also let her do my daughter hair from time to time. It's very long and hard for me to do sometimes. Over the years Tseday has done 3 keratin treatments on my daughter hair to help with the thickness & frizz. This has made it's so much easier to manage. I rated this 5 stars and would rate it more if possible. She is all about the health of your hair and I can really appreciate that.

It's one thing to do hair but another to give good advice in managing the health of your hair and scalp. She will guide you to the right products and natural remedies found in your house to make sure your hair health is long lasting beyond the few days after QT from a hair stylist. It's a full-service salon in regards to hair. I believe Tseday does it all, but it's always best to call her because she takes clients by APPOINTMENT. However, her specialties I can swear by are styling, hair cut, color (wait for the compliments to start raining), keratin treatment, relaxer, protein and conditioning treatments. Disclaimer - I no longer relax my hair. It is thanks to Tseday and her support during the transition. Whether you rock natural or chemically treated hair, from wash to set the diligence, she puts into the care of your hair will have you book your next appointement immediately. The prices she charges are very reasonable. One important advice especially for a first-timer, when you book your appointment ask her how long it will take and if you need to factor in extra time for consulting. I am a regular, and I still love it when she takes her time.

NO! Just NO…read more.. Maniya appears to lack the professionalism and respect that comes with providing a service to others. I spoke with her two days ago explaining my situation and we concluded that a "VIP/expedited service" would best accommodate my needs and timeline which came with a $100 markup on the service of choice. Ok fine. However, there was absolutely nothing about my interactions with her leading up to the appointment that reflected a "VIP" experience would follow. Per our phone call and text messages, Maniya was well aware of my constraints and provided me the option to confirm with her the next day while I worked through outstanding details. I genuinely appreciated that and let her know as much. Per her instructions, I reached out at the time we agreed upon to confirm that I would take advantage of the opening that we discussed. I never heard back. My tentative appointment was for the next day at 9:30 am. Five hours later around 8:30 pm I text her again asking if this would be confirmed. Again, she was well aware of the constraints that I had. I stated that at a minimum I'd like to pick up the product(s) we discussed via phone if something had come up. She responded stating that she was "no longer available" even after offering availability to me and telling me that she would wait for my confirmation the day before. OK.... Definitely disappointing but at a minimum I figured I could still pick up the products that I needed right now, go to a different stylist for my immediate needs, and wait for her books to reopen for services in September. Although I was definitely scrambling at this point, I was STILL willing to purchase product from her in spite of not honoring her word. Today I followed up with her about picking up the items before she left town and she stated that she didn't offer a pick up option but failed to mention that the night before when she confirmed that I could order/pay for products. She previously told me the products were available in house so I did t understand where the issue lied. At a minimum, I felt that if she blew off my appointment after offering the time, the least she could do is meet me halfway by allowing me to pick up the product(s) we discussed during our initial call. I called her to discuss this as I know things could be misconstrued via text. She was SO NASTY over the phone! I calmly kept explaining to her that I wanted us to clarify things because there was an obvious miscommunication happening (on her blend). She talked over me repeatedly, would NOT listen to anything that I had to say, and had a very "holier than thou" attitude when speaking to me, and hung up in my face in the midst of me trying to find a resolution with her. I really wasn't sure if the call dropped or what. I called back and asked what happened. She stated that she hung up on me. At one point, she asked "how did I think that I had a pending appointment?" I tried to tell her BECAUSE THAT IS WHAT WE AGREED TO! She knew my special circumstances and mentioned nothing about a deposit or anything of that nature. I am a new client. I have no idea what her expectations may be and it is HER JOB as the consultant to walk me through her process if we are on a call together instead of trying to repeatedly mention an extra $100 fee to show up for an appointment DURING operating hours or as a walk in DURING operating hours! Why would I pay a "VIP fee" for a service during normal business hours? She continued to talk over me not letting me get a word in then called me a "stranger" when I was actually a prospective client as if that's any excuse for how she treated me. Am I supposed to believe that she would automatically show respect if I were sitting in her chair as an active client? If so, that alone is a testament to how phony she is as a person. She also stated that she only finds time for VIP appointments only if she "feels like getting up before 9:30 am" and that she has "multiple businesses" Umm WHAT?! lol I could easily "stick my chest out" too and surely blow her out of the water but why bother? It is of no significance here. I just wanted my hair done based on what we discussed! It just confirmed that she is an unprofessional ego-centric inexperienced girl who is obviously used to being disrespectful and dismissive to her clientele with no pushback. There is NO way I would allow myself to be serviced by someone like this who only cares about the bottom line at the expense of quality customer service. I found her on social media and was initially impressed with her work but the NASTY EGO and attitude she displayed trumps any perceived talent I may have thought she had. Per her page, she moved to Atlanta 2 years ago. Obviously she doesn't know that whatever she was pulling wherever she came from doesn't fly here in Atlanta. Humility is KEY.

She started right on time within the 10-15min window of my appointment which is phenomenal considering how most salons stack their clients and make you wait excessively so I very much appreciate her respect for our scheduled time! The shop is super cute, clean and professional. Very mature and chill vibes here with a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The lemongrass diffuser is an added bonus. This is a salon for the grown and sexy lol. But seriously though, Stephanie was gentle and patient with me as a first timer in her chair and I'm grateful. When I looked at my hair for the first time for the big reveal after she was I done I was literally shocked at how good it looked! It didn't even look like my hair! I highly recommend her if you are looking for a new stylist as I can not say enough good things about her and how she handled me and my hair from start to finish. Beautiful salon, beautiful beautician and beautiful vibes all the way through from start to finish. Love, love, love this place so much! Thank you so much Stephanie and see you again soon!

I love that the keratin Posh uses does not have formaldehyde, so I don't have to worry about adverse effects. I wear my hair both straight and curly, so I love the versatility of going back and forth. After wearing crochet braids and not seeing Posh for several years, I was able to reach out and send a picture of the look I wanted. Using the picture I sent and what she remembered about my hair texture, Posh was able to make recommendations to me over the phone around texture matching and was already pre-planning for my appointment. From just a picture Posh was able to color my links and my hair at different times and it looked like it was done at the same time. It blended so well that people to this day don't know some of it isn't my hair. Her attention to detail and knowledge around hair is impeccable...she also has growing hands! Results are good and consistent and she handles my hair with care. I also feel comfortable voicing any questions or concerns about a service or my hair without judgement. The smoothing treatment: After much research and consideration i decided to get the smoothing treatment. I'm so happy with my results!! My hair was silky and kept for well over a week and a half without any additional heat. I took a trip to Italy and even with the rain and humidity it stayed silky. I just used flexirods a few nights and i was good to go. I also got a much needed trim. As usual she laid a white paper behind my hair and confirmed how much she was cutting before she started to make sure i was comfortable with the amount. Post treatment: Even though i loved the results I was nervous about the state of my curls after the treatment, considering my hair stayed so straight for so long. I did read that the treatment stays with you for up to 12 weeks. Curls start out looser then gradually come back. That has completely been my experience. After the first wash my hair curled but looser than usual. Gradually after every wash my hair has tightened more and more. Not completely where it was yet, but I'm also only 4 weeks post treatment. Additionally my hair feels healthy and moisturized. Definitely not damaged or dry. I'm still able to do my same protective styles like twist outs with no issue. Lastly we spoke about an on going plan for my hair. She likes to keep clients hair healthy so she'll only straighten a few times a year and suggested protective styling on other visits. Pictured: There are pictures of me right after the service. Then a few more a week later in Rome.No additional heat at all.

I was told to have a seat, only to later realize Kelsey had been standing there the entire time and never greeted or introduced herself. About 10 minutes later, she came over and said she was running behind and someone else would wash my hair. Another employee did the wash and that part was fine. However, for my 11:45 AM appointment, Kelsey didn't begin working on my hair until around 1:30 PM after finishing the client before me. When she started flat ironing my hair, I asked what type heat protectant had been used. After that, the appointment went downhill. She asked if I had been to the salon before and implied I didn't understand how silk presses work. I clarified that I was simply asking what brand and type of heat protectant it was, but she never answered and continued working while repeatedly sighing. She burned me with the flat iron a few times and didn't respond when I mentioned it which made me really uncomfortable. When it was time for a trim, I looked in the mirror to see where she was cutting. She snapped at me to keep my head facing forward. I explained that I just wanted to see what was being cut since I hadn't had a trim in a while. She then abruptly turned the chair, sighed, and demanded I tell her exactly how much to cut. Since she had never done my hair before, I told her I preferred her professional opinion but still wanted to see what was being cut. She began talking about how damaged my hair was and suggested cutting several inches off. At that point, given her attitude, I no longer felt comfortable letting her cut my hair and asked for the minimum. The long wait alone wouldn't have stopped me from returning, long waits are common at salons in Atlanta. But the poor attitude and lack of customer service were disappointing. Everyone else in the salon was pleasant, but Kelsey's demeanor made the experience uncomfortable. For the amount people pay for hair services, basic consideration and respect should be expected.
