I ordered a bacon, egg, avocado wrap. When I ordered, I didn't leave a tip because I hadn't received any goods or services. I tip after I receive goods or services. The girl that took my order on 7/18 at 8am looked obviously mad. I was the only person in the store. She was YELLING my name to get my order; I didn't hear her bc I was listening to a book while I waited. When she could have just walked 4 steps and handed my order to the only person in the store. After waiting 10 min, the wrap had only eggs inside. I thought the avocado and bacon might be in the next bite. After taking the next bite, I took it back to the counter and told the girl that it had no avocado or bacon. She begrudgingly remade the wrap. Now, all the bacon was in one bite vs being throughout the sandwich, then all the egg. I would not order this if a tall girl is working. She is angry and sees customers as annoying. This location would have caused me to have an allergic reaction, had my mom and I not watched them make my smoothie. Would give negative stars if I could. I have a severe nut allergy, which we made very clear to the person taking our order. I asked for my smoothie to have skim milk instead of coconut water. She then proceeds to mark my smoothie as "almond milk, skim" and did not tell the staff to sanitize the blender as we asked her to do. We asked why my order appeared to contain almond milk, and she said that was because they could not select skim milk without also selecting almond milk - she promised they would not put almond milk in my smoothie. We decided to trust her, but watched the staff as they made our smoothies. We then watched the staff pour almond milk and skim milk into my smoothie. If we had not been watching them, I would have drank this smoothie and had a potentially fatal allergic reaction. The staff had NO clue what was going on and the allergy practices are basically nonexistent here. I am very thankful that I did not trust the staff and trusted my gut. These staff need to IMMEDIATELY be trained on the importance of food allergies as this is ridiculous. read more

I ordered a 20 ounce fresh Caliente raw juice and a shot of the turmeric and the ginger. It was $14.04. The juice takes a bit time since it's freshly squeezed and it takes a lot of veggies to produce an ounce so to get 20 ounces will take some time. The caliente is spicy and tastes so green and healthy, taste wise, it's okay, very earthy for me. The ginger and turmeric shot has some major spice and kick to it, all from the ginger. I love beyond and have had great experiences with other locations, but this location sucks. The workers are very young so I guess I understand why they do the things they do. Some are friendly, some have attitudes. It takes forever to get your order even if you order online. Many times that I've been there, others have gotten frustrated with how slow they are. Normally I wouldn't have reviewed because I do like beyond, but this was the breaking point.... I came in one day after my boyfriend placed an online order. We came in like 15-20 after he did that to pick it up. Nothing was ready. The workers were huddled up just talking and looking lost. None were working. Once again I get it they're kids, but you're at work lol.. We walk in and they look so confused. Then it takes another 20min for them to make our food and others lol... so frustrating. A M A Z I N G Today my office ordered from this location, and the food was spectacular. I've never tasted a wrap executed so well. First off, the secretary ordered through BJE's website, and showed me the site. It was super user friendly and easy to modify orders. I ordered the Turkey Avocado Wrap, which came with turkey, avocado, romaine lettuce, tomato, hummus, and muenster cheese. I added red onion and roasted red peppers, which added to the already amazing taste. And for under 400 calories, you can't go wrong! Everyone in the office was extremely pleased with the wraps and bowls they ordered as well. Best of all they delivered very expeditiously and EVERYTHING WAS MADE AS ORDERED! Absolutely love this place. First positive is that the open at 7:30am which allows a lot of people to pick up a healthy breakfast before work. I tried a dazzle dazzle smoothie which was awesome as well as an egg white sandwich in gluten free bread with spinach, mushrooms and peppers. It was also very good and surprisingly great tasting bread for gluten free. I saw on the board they are now offering gluten free tortillas so next on my list is to try the breakfast burrito. I ordered a grocery bag from Beyond for end of day pickup yesterday and they forgot a couple of items in it. I called them up and a worker drove the missing items out to my house, a 20 minute drive from the store. Way to make it right and great job Beyond Birmingham! Overall, I've been very impressed with the chain's creativity during this pandemic. They are figuring out what people need/want and making it work. And their app is pretty easy to use. We've gotten one of the kids apple sauce kits too, and my kids loved the fresh, no cool apple sauce. I liked the word search puzzle and coloring sheet. It's definitely adult coloring worthy. Beyond is a bit pricier but what you'd expect from a smoothie/salad place. For the smoothies, I like the Razzle Dazzle and Total Energy for a sweet pick-me-up. Don't miss their lunch options though. The Fuego Huevo is a little spicy but delicious with egg for breakfast or lunch. I always choose the spinach tortilla. You also can always build your own wrap with your favorite toppings. The salad bowls are pleasing to both the eyes and stomach. My favorite it the Hummus + Beet bowl, a take on the classic Greek salad but with quinoa, kale, and lots of beets. The salad is a large portion and I always end up with extra to save. It's a bit loud in the store, due to the whir of the blenders. I had been craving the cilantro wrap and a smoothie for a while now. Went to this location instead of the one downtown Birmingham... sooo disappointing. Besides the guy who helped me, there was no customer service. I had stood there for so long without anyone acknowledging me when I went to ask about my wraps. After I ordered my wraps, maybe 3 other ppl came behind me to pick up food but it took over 25 mins to get my 2 wraps. My drive home is maybe 6-7 mins. Fantastic place for healthy eats. We've been trying various smoothie/juice/salad places over the past few weekends, and Beyond Juice has hands down been the best thus far. The smoothie was delicious and had great texture. The Turkey Avocado wrap was absolutely incredible - the hummus pairs really well with everything else inside of the wrap. And the Prescott salad bowl was out-of-this-world GOOD. I think what separates this place from the others are two things: flavor and portion sizes. We feel that most of the smoothies from other competitors have been dull and flavorless, but that certainly isn't the case here at Beyond Juice. We also know that when eating healthy, you'll pay a higher price and will get less food in return. However, the portions at Beyond are wayyyy bigger than what you get at the other places, and pretty much for the same price. If you're looking for a smoothie/salad joint, don't go anywhere else but Beyond Juice. read more

I rarely write bad reviews however I recently had a large order of drinks & food, which naturally took a while (~30 min). Everything was fine until I had got home with the items for me and my friends. None of the drinks were labeled, the wraps were wrapped poorly and fell apart. We were missing a wrap so I called the store and the employee seemed as if she didn't care, she gave me the manager who essentially said I could come back and get another one for free. I told him which one was missing and he claimed it would be ready once I walked in, but I waited another 20 minutes for them to finish it up and when I had brought it home it had 2 ingredients that I specified not to add. Didn't even bother calling the store at this point. I have been to other Beyond Juice locations and everything went well. I'm assuming management here needs a bit of a fix. read more

I work about .1 mile away from Beyond Juice but can't always get there during a busy day. I placed a delivery order (through yelp's GrubHub) to be delivered to my office at 1pm between meetings. Needless to say five hours later the food was never delivered. I spoke with three GrubHub customer support staff, who all gave me different excuses for why the food had not arrived (the true reason was their drivers, like uber, just kept cancelling because it was such a short trip).. and after being promised they would redeliver to me, ultimately GH cancelled my order without notice or refund. I wish I could write a 0 Star review for GrubHub because I will never order from that service again. However this is a review for beyond juice and the way that they handled the situation was BEYOND amazing. The staff (Casey) kept me updated on what was going on with my order and even after it was canceled, REMADE my food (my original order had egg in it), personally hand-delivered the food to my office while it was hot, and didn't charge me a dime. And followed up via phone and text to make sure GrubHub was held accountable on their end. I sincerely hope beyond juice was compensated for that order.. they had it ready on time and it tasted great. And the customer support was phenomenal. I will definitely return and order from their delivery menu, not GrubHub, next time :) read more

Well the girls from my salon always order from here and I ended up with a gift card so I gave it a go. Boy oh boy was that a good choice! I ordered a the cilantro chicken wrap with a spinach wrap. It was packed with delicious and fresh chicken, tomatoes, romaine, shredded cheddar, avocado, spicy cilantro sauce and a side of salsa and orange slice. Didn't come with a side which I was kinda worried but that wrap filled me up! It had a slight spice to it, but my spice sensors are dulled considering almost every meal I add some sort of heat. Definitely add the salsa it's a little chunky and compliments it perfect! Super quick and friendly delivery even tho the roads were kinda crappy today.
