I was glad to see a Playa Bowls in the area and definitely wanted to check them out. I wanted to try something new but still something in the realm of something I'd like, so I went with the Aloha smoothie which consists of banana, mango, pineapple and coconut milk. I'll admit while the smoothy was good, but not as good as their acai bowls. I still think that my favorite item on the menu is the Tropical Acai bowls it's a perfect 10/10! Still it was a good smoothie overall and since I ordered online, I was able to walk in and get it from the employee really quickly and head out. They was kind as well. Definite beachy feel inside. They are out of watermelon juice. :/ Grabbed two Ginger bombs from the cooler and a Celsius can of sparkling Playa Vibe, 16 ounce The Dang smoothie and a 12 ounce Beach Break juice. $30.71 The Dang smoothie and the Celsius is not for me. Not into the flavor blends of the Dang. All I taste is the nasty sugar free with Sucralose instead in the Celsius Playa Vibe drink. Blech, The beach break is refreshing, it's good. The Ginger bombs are okay, the ginger settled mostly to the bottom, even after a good shake. Staff here are not welcoming or friendly much, act like they can't be bothered. LOVE this place! We needed a place like this in the area- everything's so good If you're uncertain which base to choose, they will allow you to sample them. My favorite is the green - and I love the chicory coffee options also. My favorite juice is the Mermaids Fuel (Kale, pineapple, apple, mint), which had enough kale but the fruit makes it very drinkable- or, when really needing a healthy kick, I get the Green Room (Kale, apple, cucumber, mint, lemon)- more green, less fruity Everyone who works is very friendly and helpful also read more

Bowls? Interesting place. I do see a lot of protein bottles. I'm guessing they use those for the bowl even though they don't say this on their website. I had the coconut bowl with all the stuff. Will be back here in no time, I loved order! It was my first time coming here and I got the Lola Bowl (green base) with no honey and an almond butter drizzle. The granola they use is really nice and it paired well with my bowl. It was so refreshing on this hot summer day and left me feeling full and energized. The staff was friendly, helpful and patient with me answering my questions. It was busy when I came during lunch time but I was surprised, it didn't take very long to get my order. Hard to complain about this place. My first time in and I stumbled upon this place bec I needed fuel for the gym. They completely delivered. After making life decisions at the menu wall I got the boost bowl and it did not disappoint. The cashier was a bit hard to hear but that's a personality thing, she was friendly and patient. I use to come here often, like a few times a week. The last few times I have been getting the Dolce smoothie instead of a bowl. Sadly, its inconsistent. The people working do not know how to make the smoothies and they always taste different. While the ingredients are fresh and this place has the potential to be awesome, the reality is the people working there don't care. The male employee today was on his phone while the girl trying to make my drink struggled to figure out how to make the smoothie. Last week when I was there, an employee went to sit down on her phone and told the other employee not to say anything. Seems like a lot of young people's first time job with no manager on duty to set these folks up for success. My drink is not drinkable - its so thick it needs a spoon. read more

If you think you're getting fresh goods and the best quality, you're mistaken I stopped in here and noticed a sale going on for buy one get one free for packaged juices I was told they aren't made in the store which means they are made somewhere else I took a look at them and noticed none of them had expiration dates I asked the employees were they expired and they said no but if there are no dates how would us as customers knows this and the Celsius in the refrigerator are far expired it is very illegal to remove expiration dates from goods and I checked all of the ones on sale and not find one expiration date if you care about your overall health don't eat here read more

One of my friends was a huge fun of Playa Bowls back where he is originally from, and took all of us there for the Bloomfield Hills opening. He brought it up every day for a week leading up the opening. He was so excited Playa bowls was coming nearby. Playa bowls definitely lived up the hype. I got the Harvest Acai Bowl, and it was fantastic. Everything my friends ordered also looked delicious. The decor was also super cute, and I loved the vibe of the place.
