I went to Beyond Bronz'd because of the reviews I read. I was looking for a new salon and didn't want to just go to someplace close. I wanted to go somewhere good, reasonable, and with nice offerings. Thanks to your reviews, I found this gem. Located in a strip center next to a Kroger, I never would have found it otherwise. The staff are amazing. Tracey and Connie in particular took such loving and attentive care of me every time - as if I was some kind of celebrity or something. The services at BB are tremendous for their space. They really maximize what they have there. The facility is sparkling clean, and they take a lot of pride in the products and services they offer. I especially enjoyed the hydration station and the sauna stations in addition to the amazing tanning beds. I tried 3 different tanning beds and they were all KILLER. Really great quality, clean, nice, beautiful beds. The only pictures I took were of me before and after for my boyfriend. They are silly, but they kind of show how lovely everything is and how lovely I feel there. If you decide to go, make sure to be awesome to the staff there. They are very awesome people and deserve to be treated that way. They will take good care of you, too. read more

I started going to Beyond Bronz'd several months ago. The first thing that attracted the salon was it's proximity to our where we live. The second that was the "salon services" that they offered. True some of their services are like "the other salons around the area" HOWEVER, BB salon services are UNLIMITED!!!! Meaning that I can relax in the "slim it", then "hydrate", and lay down in the "red light" bed BEFORE tanning in one of the awesome beds. The selection of "lotions, tan extenders, red light and Versa Spa" products is extensive and the prices are very reasonable. BB is always running some type of special on either their services and or their vast selection of products. I highly recommend to go in and take a tour of the salon. If you have time, I am sure that one of the staff will offer you a complimentary "spa service" if you are interested in purchasing a tanning, spa services or versa spa membership. If not, it's okay (I purchased a month of "the works" which included all the UV beds, Versa Spa and SPA SERVICES) they offer a package or sessions that will fit your budget. I've tanned on and off for years and never knew what all I was missing out on right down the road! The beds are amazing and there are several to choose from, the spa services are such a nice bonus plus spray tanning. There are several different plans to choose from or pay as you go. I can't praise the staff enough. They are very helpful in figuring out where to start, how long to go, knowledgeable on spa services and just overall kind and treat you like you are their priority. I was satisfied with the place I went for years, nothing fancy but it got the job done. Then they changed ownership, raised prices and service declined. I have been a member for about a year I don't really use it maybe 1-3 times a month maybe. I went in to cancel I take care of my sick father so I'm not able to go. I was told they're still taking another payment even tho I don't use it. The lady at the front desk called the owner and asked if I could just cancel and she didn't care! It's a shame people have no compassion for things that happen out of your control. the payment comes out of my account I've never been late or missed a payment but she would not help me! Love this tanning salon I've been tanning since 2007 and it's always taken me awhile to get where I want to be and sometime just because I was so eager to get dark I would go for to long of a time and would come out red or burned I've tried Wolf tan, Malibu tan, darque tan and finally led me here and this it the best tanning salon I can literally go for two after not going for a month and still have I nice color the lotions are amazing and the customer service are hands down the most knowledgeable attentive and up beat I've ever experienced plus they always have good specials going on. So I will definitely always recommend this place and I love the escapade lotion for starting off it's a high dha and a continuous tanner thru out the day it's amazing. read more

I love this salon. It is always clean, there is rarely a wait, and the variety of beds you can choose from is perfect. I also think that the pricing is the best when compared to other salons. The employees are friendly and helpful. They don't hound me about buying products, only occasionally asking if I have enough lotion, and I also like that they will remind me that I have upgrades available when I cannot decide which bed I want. I bought a month here today, and was helped by Connie. That girl is great. Huge asset to have working there and I wish I could have her working in my office. She had tons of info about each bed. I go here just about every day for their spa services, red light, or sunless tanning- have the unlimited monthly package. It's my "me" time and I LOVE it!!!! The spa services actually do work! I've experienced great results with the spa services- even my husband has noticed! Used to be super skeptical about sunless tanning because I didn't want to be orange but wanted color on my light skin without having to tan. Tried the Versa and I'm hooked. Even, easy color that looks great and lasts. Staff is super friendly- took their time explaining everything to me and are always a delight! Check it out, great local place. read more

HORRIBLE service and attitude ~ as a new member, the VersaSpa was either not operating or was in poor operation during the first 4 visits. On the "successful" visit it took 20 minutes to finesse it into resetting. I had to go to Darque Tan and pay for a service I had already payed for at Beyond Bronz'd, so I rightfully terminated my membership. The next morning I received a very unprofessional and argumentative call from Jessica making excuse after excuse saying that technology is imperfect and I would be held to the 12 month contract. There was no accountability and all they care about is membership retention regardless of inadequate customer and equipment service. I also spoke to Tracy (THE OWNER) who stood by the same lame excuse of imperfect technology and equipment function in addition to it just being my bad timing to experience such, so basically....too bad for me. I have used VersaSpa for 2+ years at other salons and never once encountered the issues I have at Beyond Bronz'd nor the rude behavior nor the lack of concern for customer satisfaction. Again, the almighty dollar dictates their poor business acumen. In the end, Tracy agreed to grant the termination to avoid further aggravation (her exact words) not because the service was lacking and not to accommodate a dissatisfied customer. I have mixed feelings sometimes about Beyond Bronz'd. I have been going there for about 2 years. Let me start with the pros: Connie Perez is the most awesome person that works there. She's professional, doesn't shove lotions, tanks, or upgrades down my throat, and always asks me how my day has been going or tells me a funny story. I have actually become quite fond of her and literally call up to the salon and only come in when she is there. Which leads me to a con: the owner overly hounds me to buy stuff when I am in there and it's like the most annoying thing about coming into the salon. After like 20 times of having to tell her "NOOOO i will buy something if I want to buy it", you would think she would pick up on how uncomfortable it makes me. I can hardly afford to buy tanning in the first place so it's really frustrating to deal with. I get being a sales woman but there is definitely too much going on there. Also, sometimes the barrier cream in the versa spa room is really runny like they tried to dilute it to make it last longer and that's definitely not okay if that's what is occurring. Other than that, they are very clean and I am never waiting. I love the Versa spa and if you buy them in a package of like 10 or 15 they will usually drop the price from $30/spray tan to $15/tan, depending if they're is a sale or whatever. Most of the time I propose this they let me purchase the 10 @ $15/tan. Overall, it's less than 1/4 of a mile from my apartment right next to Kroger and it couldn't be more convenient. Hopefully there are no more floods, because last year, I had just bought 10 spray tans and then they couldn't get back up and running for like 5 months, so I had to go to Malibu Tan in Tomball, which was just as good. I had never tanned before so googled tanning places and this came up, I then jumped in my genesis coupe and drove over there to check it out. I had to get gas though before so it took me a second. Upon arriving I walked through the door and was great by a beautiful blonde teenager who ask me how I was. I responded with a smile and said I was good and did the polite thing and asked how she was, which she responded GREAT! After she asked what she could help me with today and I said I don't know, explaining how I was clueless I thought this girl may take advantage of me, and not in the good way you know? She was friendly, asked me how easily I burn, if I tan in the sun, does my family have a history of skin cancer and then recommend the month to month contract so that if I did not like it I could cancel at anytime. I bought this lotion "For Him" and it smelled lovely, but man getting naked and having to rub lotion all over my body took forever, I was struggling and on the brink of giving up when the bed turned on and I knew it was all or nothing now. I laid in the bed only expecting to raisin up like a grape in the sun, fearing what might happen next I gave out a slight yell. Once the bed was off and I was up I felt amazing, just renewed and sexy. I walked back up to the counter and told the blonde teen thank you so much and she smiled "glad you enjoyed it" she says as I walk majestically away into the ever fading sun of that beautiful Tuesday. I will not only come back but I will spread the word of this place like its my job, I want to thank you random blonde teen whose name I do not know since I was to sky to ask, may your days be filled with ever lasting joy! read more

I first joined Beyond Bronz'd when I moved to Houston in 2013. I joined because they offer a discount to Lifetime members. I have been tanning at salons for 12 years and have had memberships at every major chain. The lowest level bed was not very good here (but honestly they aren't good at any salon) but once you got to the higher level beds, they were some of the best. I was very pleased with the affordability of this salon compared to every other place I have been to. I first cancelled my membership because as I got older I started to worry about damaging my skin. Fast forward to 2015, I joined again but did a Versa only membership. They have the most affordable Versa membership of any salon in this area. The Versa was great and always worked without any issues. I ended up leaving the salon because the location was too out of the way from me. I never joined another salon after leaving Beyond Bronz'd though. My only complaint I had was that they didn't have more locations. When I lived in Austin, a lot of salons were locally owned. Here in Houston I find that so many tanning salons are chains and they are limited to what they can do since they have to go through a corporate office when there is an issue with your account. I had countless issues with Darque Tan which included drafting my account despite my contract being over. They then had the audacity to suggest crediting me the amount in lotions. After getting my bank's fraud department involved they finally refunded me money. With Beyond Bronz'd being locally owned, the owner can take care of these issues as opposed to being given the run around by someone in a corporate office. In my opinion, Beyond Bronz'd is a great tanning salon. read more
