I'm sorry but I wouldn't give this place a one. I wrote the Better Business Bureau In reference to…read morethe owner Tia and she will not even respond to them. My next step is taking her to court. I want a total refund for my hair. I would not suggest going there as I went for consultations and stated I wanted human hair and I should of known when she tried to dye pieces to blonde as I requested they were a solid red. As she gave me synthetic hair versus human hair. She put so much weight to my thin pieces that I couldn't sleep for 4 nights. I went to another stylist and all she could say is WOW what a horrible job. As she placed the extensions in my hair, she would cut chunks out in different places so I have 2 inches here and 6 inches there. The results all right now my hair is too short to even have extensions. I have to wait several months for my hair to grow out due to her just chopping away at it so please think before you go to see her. I asked for a refund she told me her policy is no refunds for me to come back and she try to fix it. Well, how do you put your hair back on your head that's been cut off and I wouldn't dare let her touch my head after what I went through. She will not respond to anything you ask or say after her statement as she doesn't care about her customers as the money is the most important thing to her as it first I just tried to get the $900 for just placing the extensions in my head then when I found out it was synthetic hair at one of the other $500 also. Well, needless to say, I haven't seen a dime of it nor has she sent me back a reply to any emails I have sent like I said all I received was I did not give refunds so if that doesn't tell you what she's like then I don't know what else to say, but I definitely would not go back to Tia and I suggest you don't either. Pay the extra and get that excellent hair stylist as it has been a nightmare from day one. When she is subpoenaed to court, she will have to answer my questions then and refund the amount she charged as it was all under false pretenses, which is the total shame. Please if you have any questions, I will be more than happy to answer them for you before you book that appointment. And I hope any clients she has that she's done this to in the past will also come forward as she told me about a customer that every time she washed her hair she would cry, and I thought to myself what in the world, but I totally understand now trust me I had to wear my hair in a ball on the top of my head to keep the pressure off of my own hair so I could have some relief until I had the extensions taken out which cost me another $250. I will ask for the $250 in court to as this was the first time I've ever had a hair extensions Oh, she's ruined my chances of having any hair extensions anytime soon. I normally do not do reviews, but I could only think about the people that may consider going to her and hopefully they'll have a chance to read this first as I would never want this to happen to anyone else. Thank you and God bless you !

She is super talented, knowledgeable, and a great personality but above all excellent customer service, Tia did a great job on my hair I mean beyond what I expected and the prices are awesome. No offense to these new stylist but they lack any kind of personable customer service and decency that use to happen amongst stylist and their clients, I really got luck this time! Thanks Tia!

Cinthia has been with me through every season of life: before cancer, before chemo, during one of the hardest chapters I've ever faced, and now as I grow and style my hair after chemo. What she does goes far beyond hair. She listens, she understands, and she genuinely cares about her clients as people, not just appointments on a schedule. During a time when I didn't recognize myself in the mirror, Cinthia helped me feel like me again. She is patient, encouraging, and always honest. She celebrates the regrowth, works beautifully with what I have, and makes the process feel hopeful instead of overwhelming. Her talent is unmatched, but it's her compassion and consistency that make her truly special. After 15+ years, she's not just my hairstylist - she's part of my story. If you're looking for someone who will take care of you inside and out, Cinthia at Ivory Hair Studio is truly one of a kind.

After reading many of the…read morereviews posted on Yelp and Salon Chanterre's website, an appointment with Shiri was booked for a conditioning treatment, trim, and natural style (twistout). Upon arrival, Shiri and the other ladies in the salon were very welcoming & professional. My wait was minimum before being called to Shiri's chair, which she confirmed getting a conditioning treatment would be most beneficial. After being shampooed and receiving conditioning treatment (using steam), I could feel a great difference in my natural hair . Overall, I was very satisfied with my salon experience and my twistout turned out way better than when I do it at home. My hair looked much healthier which is important to me. Prior to leaving the salon I booked my second appointment for two weeks later.
