I had Lower Blepharoplasty, Rhinoplasty, Dermabrasion on right check and multiple scar revision surgery last January 2013, and remain devastated, scared by the pain and swelling from the surgery. The effects of the surgery have not subsided as promised, and it has not been responsibly performed within the standard of care in the medical community. My left and right eyes remain swollen, scarred and "flipped down," and now I have got blurred vision and is forced to wear glasses or contact lenses, and constantly must use eyedrops because of the dryness. An ophthalmologist informed me that too much fat has been removed during the surgery. Botox and refilling will cost me $3,000.00 every 6 months. My general appearance has significantly worsened and the desired result was not remotely achieved. As a result of the surgery, I am sufferering from depression, lethargy, headaches, immune system deficiency, and sleeplessness. Now, I am taking antidepressants and has other emotional disturbances due to the result of the surgery. Prior to the surgery, I will testify that my life was very nice, and happy. I never had experience with significant mental, physical or emotional trauma. I was in excellent physical and emotional health. I had no major concerns or emotional or physical difficulties or fear of people, places or things. For the first time all that has changed as a result of the surgery. I have obtained four separate opinions after the surgery and found that the procedures dr. Hsu performed were exaggerated and rushed in order to spend less time and charge excessive amounts of money for substandard work. The surgical procedures could have been simplified to achieve the desired result. Instead of cutting a small piece off the nose, it was broken. Instead of applying Botox under the eyes, the flesh under the eyes was cut. Moreover, the Lower Blepharoplasty and the Rhinoplasty should not be performed in the same surgery. The areas of the face are too close to one another and should not be performed in the same day. Breathing through the nose is now difficult for me. Sleeping is constantly interrupted by congestion of the nasal passages, which leads to uncomfortable dry mouth. My entire body aches and I am depressed. The current pain, discomfort, fear, and emotional distress I have never, until this surgery, experienced. My personal life was very pleasant and worries free. Now my life has changed completely, and I am the victim of gross negligence and substandard work. This substandard work I had paid for in full in cash. My attorney sent a latter, and it was simply ignored by Dr. Hsu, by the medical director, and office administrator. I have never received any response from Dr. Hsu, nore from his associate. Instead I was told "go ahead and sue, we are prepared." Do not never-ever go to Dr. Hsu, and never trust any plastic surgeon who works for Beverly Hills Physician's office, unless you wont to look awful and spend a lot of money for that. Go to more experienced doctor who is more responsible for his/her work. I hope this will help other people to make a right choice, and will never experience which I am going through. read more

The entire staff is also professional and will be there to answer any questions or concerns pre/post operation and I'm feeling like I'm apart of the family know. My husband and I are so happy with results that we had to give gifts to Dr Cohen and staff. All three office locations are clean and comfortable and that's a plus for me. I'm a week out and besides a little swelling/bruising, the pain is not an issue being that I was prescribed top tier meds that worked with my body well to assist in my healing and comfort.
