Beverly Hills Chairs is a wonderful company. They say what they do and they do what they say and more! I am a designer and have been sitting in the same fabulous, ergonomic, durable Aeron chair for 20 years. I have replaced arm pads, casters and lumbar support as they wore out, but I finally ran into a challenge that caused me to look for a new chair. The center cylinder failed and the mechanism had collapsed due to years of overuse. I found BHC online and decided to buy a chair from them. They seemed like specialists and had great prices and selection. My partner emailed Lerry and he said they could repair my chair while we wait and he had a number of chairs for sale that were 1/2 retail and in great shape. I brought my chair to them and their bright, polite technician told me: No problem I can fix this in 15 minutes. They had the parts right there and Oscar, the master technician, had the chair back to me in 10 minutes!!! Aeron chairs are great chairs and it's nice to know that BHC is there to help me when I need them. I recommend their services 200%. read more

It was really difficult to find a Herman Miller Aeron size A but I called Beverly Hills Chairs and they had some in stock. I wanted to try out the chair first before purchasing and let the sales person know. He said I could test the chair out if I was willing to drive up to Chatsworth to their warehouse. The sales person was able to set the appointment immediately. When I got there, the warehouse guys were really nice and informative about the chairs. I was able to make the payment on the phone and the sales person sent me the receipt through email. Testing out the chair at home, I really wouldn't have guessed it was used. It looks great and we'll worth $601. A HUGE shout out to Ed and Oscar for making this happen. read more

There are 3 things in life that I have no problem spending hella money on.. Food, a good pillow and a good quality chair. If you work from home or in an office you're gonna be spending quite a few hours day to day in your chair so you might as well get a nice one. Trust me your back and butt with thank you. I got the Herman Miller Aeron chair. And I know what you're thinking. Don't Herman Miller chairs cost as much as a rent payment? Yeah pretty close hahah... BUT.. This place sells all their chairs secondhand. So instead of spending $1100, I spent $550. And I waited a few weeks before writing the review and the chair still feels great. The install was only 1 step, super easy! And their selection is really big so you can find a chair that works best for you. And if you buy in store or online they will ship it for free! So your choice. A $60 chair from Wayfair that starts to break down after 2 months or a chair from these guys that will last you as long as you need to use it? read more

Honestly, This was my best experience buying a chair ever! From the start Greg was kind and informative when I passed by to try the different chairs they offered. after looking at my budget he recommended the Aeron and explained all the Pros & Cons for me. Edmond from customer support was extremely fast and professional when I reached out to him for some questions about my purchase and delivery dates! I received my chair within 2 days. The chair looks brand new and assembly was literally 4 screws! Took me 5 mins...Overall I am so happy I found these guys. You might think its still a bit expensive, but the fact that its basically a brand new Aeron for less than half the price AND you get life time warranty!!! You can't beat that, it's a life time investment. read more

Bought an Aeron. The chair arrived in perfect condition, but I wound up having an issue with the cylinder height adjustment. They were very quick to help me get the issue resolved. Definitely recommended. read more

DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS STORE This company is dishonest about their lifetime warranty. I purchased a chair. Some time later, it broke. I reached out to attempt to use my warranty and received a brief response saying the company was closing and they can't honor my warranty. Weeks later, the website is still running, they're still selling chairs, and there's no signs they're closing. Frankly, I hope they go out of business given their dishonesty. read more

If you're in looking to buy a nice office chair for home use or otherwise in LA, this place is the spot, full stop. Greg, Jordan, and team are kind, knowledgeable, and more interested in making sure you like what you're sitting than if you buy it. I got an incredible deal and unbeatable warranty, as well as help loading the chair I bought onsite. Call to make sure they're around before swinging by, and expect a large inventory of different brands to try out before making a decision. I'd go to them for all my chair needs although due to their service and acumen, I think that's all sorted for now :) Great team, highly recommend. read more

I bought the $729 Aeron. Shipping was delayed because of a "big" order. I called them after 19 days and it was promptly shipped the next day. Sadly, I received the $599 version. After a few polite email exchanges, they refunded $130 to my credit card. I would definitely use them again. I like their marketing. After internet searching for chairs for a few days, adds for Beverly Hills Chairs started showing up. It was exactly the ad I needed at the right time. Yeah! for search tracking. read more

My back was killing me working from home every day, figured it was time to invest in a good chair. Wish I did it sooner. Everyone I talked to recommended the Aeron chair, and a couple people mentioned getting it at this place. Glad I did. The service people were super helpful. The chair looks great, excellent condition, and much better to sit in all day than the old one. They delivered the chair fully assembled because I live close. read more

Great value here, getting a refurbished chair at 1/3 of Herman Miller retail price, and getting access to the "classic" Herman Miller design, where armless is an option, as pictured here. Quick shipment (a little over a week), FedEx tracking, easy assembly. read more

Great product and excellent customer service! I already knew that the Herman Miller Aeron chair is the best because that's what I have at my company's office. After working from home for a very long time during the pandemic, I knew that I needed one for my home office. Greg was extremely knowledgeable about the product, the price was great, and delivery was fast! My chair is refurbished but it looks and feels brand new. I highly recommend Beverly Hills Chairs! read more

Guys. GUYS. This place is the real deal. A little less than a year ago I purchased a refurbished Herman Miller Mirra from Beverly Hills Chairs. Good price, picked it up myself from their storefront office in Westwood (since closed thanks to Covid), and proceeded to use it off and on for work from home. The chair itself was well-made, in great condition... But after several months I realized it was too uncomfortable for my tastes, the lumbar support was too stiff. So I reached back out to BHC and asked if they'd be interested in an exchange for a Steelcase Amia, which has a softer back. Assuming that was even possible, I figured I'd have to pay a restocking fee at minimum, but imagine my surprise when they quickly responded and said, "Sure, just take it to our warehouse in Chatsworth, we'll switch it out". WOW. That's incredible! I'm now the happy owner of a Steelcase that works better for me, and I'm sure they'll resell the Mirra without an issue (they ARE well-built) -- any company can sell you a chair at a decent price, but it takes an exceptional company that's willing to go above-and-beyond to make sure their customers are happy, especially a year out from a purchase. As long as I'm in LA, I won't use anyone else for my office chair needs. Neither should you. Absolutely superb! read more

Wanted to send a brief message to say how pleased I was with the process of buying a chair (Aeron) as a birthday gift for my wife. Fernando offered fantastic pre-sale service (they use FB Messenger to receive questions, and you'll usually get a person to talk to within 1 business day...worth the short wait). I made a couple of special requests in my order, including picking up the chair myself at their SFV support center, as that was closer to me than their showroom. Friendly support folks there, too. Its in a business park that's pretty low on frills, but that's probably how they're able to keep prices so aggressive on their merchandise. Trust me, I'm not complaining at all. :) The chair was basically shrink-wrapped from stem to stern for safe transport back home, and when I got it home and peeled off the self-adhering plastic wrap, the chair was as shiny and new as you can get. I know these chairs have had some measure of refurbishment, but I'm telling you....you couldn't tell anyone's butt sat in this chair. It is THAT clean. Thanks to Fernando and his colleagues at Beverly Hills Chairs. I'm a happy customer, and will be back for another chair for ME in about another month. read more

Thank you Greg foe the Herman Miller Aeron chair. I originally decided to stop by the showroom in Beverly Hills, but it was closed. You have to call to arrange to see the chair. I email to schedule an appt to check out the chair at their warehouse. Decide to pick it up the same day. It felt even better at home while working at my desk. I can actually sit in there and work without waiting until my next break. Great chair!!! Highly recommend!! This chair would have help me earlier. Save your money and invest in your back and work from home scenario! read more

Caring staff, excellent services! I bought a second-hand Herman Miller Aeron chair size A following the manufacture's size chart recommendation. The chair arrived very quickly and in very good condition, but after a few days, I noticed the armrest pads emitted some smells that probably belonged to the previous owner who might have used a lot of fruity-smelling lotion. Lerry at customer service sent me a new pair of armrest pads at no cost within 2 days. After a month of purchase, I started to notice some pain in my legs, I went to a showroom and tried a size B, which was much better for my body's specific proportion. I reached out to Customer service to see if I could exchange it for a size bigger. Lerry responded again quickly and with care, allowing me to exchange for a size up. I offered to drop off size A and pick up the size B from the warehouse in Chatsworth to eliminate the cost of shipping. The staff at the warehouse were professional and friendly. I highly recommend this business for its excellent customer services! read more

Let me tell you about my amazing experience with Beverly Hills Chairs. After one thousand years of sitting on a cheap-o office chair, I decided to upgrade. My extensive search brought me where every serious office chair search leads to: Herman Miller. However, I'm cheap. I could not fathom dropping $1,000+ on a chair! A chair! So, I visited two Staples and three Office Depot and finally settled on a $200 chair. Exactly 13 days later, and one day shy of my return window, my back informed me that if I kept sitting on that chair, she would go out and never return. I scrambled for my Office Depot receipt and blah blah blah... it said something about the original box. What? My kids made a fort out of that box and then burned it down. I called in a panic and they said they would make an exception. I drove it right over and got my money back. I was so excited that when I got back home I realized I had no chair. Thankfully it turns out there is a Herman Miller showroom minutes from my house. However, guess what? They don't sell chairs, it's just a showroom. LAME! They were polite about it and pointed me to Design Within Reach so I called them. They were eager to get me into their store but as far as walking out with a chair... not a chance! They also ship everything. DOUBLE-LAME! Thankfully Google knows me so well and it knows I won't stand for delayed gratification!!! so Beverly Hills Chairs came to the rescue!! I visited their website at 11:30am, chatted via FB IM and checked on prices and inventory, got in the car and by 1:06pm I was home with my awesome Herman Miller Aeron (and at a great price!). Greg was super helpful and very pleasant to deal with. I am definitely going to recommend them to anyone who wants fast and awesome service! Keep up the good work! read more

This business is terrible. I ordered the chair that came with hair tangled at the wheels and the knobs are cracked. Wow! I found Beverly Hills Chairs while searching for a Herman Miller chair for my home office. I really didn't want to drop a fortune on it but was starting to give up hope and give in. To my surprise, I found Beverly Hills Chairs online and gave it a try. Ordering was easy, arrived in just a few days and assembly took me 3 minutes. Boom! I have a Herman Miller chair that looks brand new! Very impressed and highly recommended if you're in the market for a new office chair. I sat on a friends Steelcase leap v2 and really liked how the chair feels and how adjustable it is. I decided to order 2 Steelcase leap v2 for me and my wife after doing a ton of research on different refurbished chair companies and decided to go with Beverly Hills Chairs based on yelp reviews. I was hoping for a near like-new (~80% new) chair but unfortunately, they each came with their own major flaws. One armrest has a missing seat adjustment label. The top of one backrest is very worn and has cloth sticking out of it. Both chairs were stiff when reclining despite adjusting the controls. See images attached https://imgur.com/a/5bitEJ5 All in all, the chairs feel dirty, worn out, and has random scratches and dents and not what I expected after paying a good chunk of cash. If you can, save your money and get a new chair. read more

I ordered a chair online 1/3/2022 and promptly received an email with my FedEx tracking number and an the details "All of our orders are shipped 5-7 days after purchase." 9 days later the package still has not left their warehouse. Having recently accepted a remote home-office job, I researched desk chairs in order to find the best that I could reasonably afford. I kept coming back to a particular Herman Miller model that seemed right for me but was having a hard time justifying the cost . After searching online a bit , I found a few sellers specializing in open-box chairs and Beverly Hills stood out due to their review track-record. I had a few questions for them regarding the choice between available units which they answered promptly and courteously. Once I placed the order I was provided with the lead time to ship, and with tracking info. The chair arrived on time and was super easy to assemble and adjust to my preferences by following online videos, also provided by Beverly Hills. It was a very positive experience and I highly recommend them. read more

Good prices, good selection, great staff! From the name, I thought it was going to be a fancy schmancy showroom with overpriced chairs, but it seemed to be my only alternative to Staples. It's the opposite: second floor office in a nondescript office building, walk in and it's full of randomly strewn chairs to make it easier to try them out. I got to sit in all I want and roll around my favorites. The guy -- I don't remember his name, but he's the blonde in the picture -- was awesome. Answered all my questions, didn't try to upsell me other than pointing out their most popular, which didn't meet my needs for other reasons, and helped me find the perfect chair for me and for my husband. THEN he let me video him showing me how to use all the various levers and buttons. AND loaded two chairs into my car for me. He was truly superb. AND he and the few other customers all were properly masked. Bravo! read more

Update to my last post. Upon writing this review and notifying Beverly Hills Chairs of my review, I was contact by their Operations Manager, Greg, who apologized for this incident, actually got the chair shipped with next-day delivery and offered a 50% discount to right this wrong. Amazing chair quality for a really affordable price. I reached out to a bunch of professionals I respected and asked them what their favorite office chair was (for my home office). Overwhelmingly, everyone told me about Herman Miller was the way to go. The price however for retail Herman Miller was a little high. When I found Beverly Hills Chairs, the price was great. I was skeptical because of that. But I've been on the chair for the 3 months now and it's totally perfect. Nothing about it seems second hand. It's refurbished but feels 100% new. Very happy for this. read more

So, here's an update to my experience. After learning of my negative experience, I received a call from the CEO. He seemed like a really nice and genuine guy and explained that they value customer satisfaction very highly. He explained that they are a relatively new company and are working hard to ensure that customers' expectations are met or exceeded with every purchase. He said they would replace and lumbar supports with after-market ones (and true to his word, I received them today and they are perfect). For me, this experience was all about misaligned expectations. As they marketed "21 pt. inspection, year warranty, and "of this caliber," I expected that though used, these chair would be "like new or pretty great." So receiving torn/ripped merchandise wasn't what I was expecting. So, now after having been sent the replacement supports, I am pleased with the end result. I just wish the experience leading up to this had not been so unpleasant. When it comes down to it, it doesn't really matter to me if something isn't right at first. It's all about the willingness of a company to fix a problem and help make it right. We all have a choice as to where we spend our money. All companies should stress this when training employees who work as spokespeople for a company. Anyhow, as they made right with the situation, and I expect they would do the same in the future, I am ultimately satisfied with the purchase and would buy again. I would just make sure to clarify/see the product before purchase so my expectations were in line with reality. read more

I ordered an Aeron online and Lerry helped me coordinate convenient pickup at their warehouse in Chatsworth. After a couple of weeks of YouTube videos and tutorials, it became apparent that the Aeron wasn't going to work for me. Lerry suggested a different model chair they carry, but that it was held up in the supply chain. He notified me when it arrived and I returned to the warehouse and met Greg. The second chair was amazing but didn't work for me either. Greg had a third option up his sleeve: a great Steelcase chair that is comfortable for me and he refunded me the difference on the spot. I needed a good 'work from home' chair that can handle 8+ hours a day without hurting my entire body. Most chairs these days are made to break--why make a chair that lasts, when you can keep selling a new crap chair every year. Well, I decided that Steelcase chairs was my only option--their chairs are almost indestructable. Only problem, I don't have a spare 1000 bucks for a new Steelcase chair. Well, then I stumbled on to BHC online and they were selling a great steelcase chair for half the price--I was shocked. It was a barely used steelcase selling for a great price. So, after researching their business, and deciding that they are indeed on the level--I took the leap. After a longer tha expected wait time for the delivery--I did get a little wary, but I was reassured by their sales team that the chair was on the way--the chair arrived in a solid BHC branded box. Well, it just arrived today and it is better than I could have expected. It looks brand new, I cannot see any signs on the chair that it has ever been used, and it is soooooo darn comfy. I can happily reccommend BHC for your 2nd hand and refurbished chairs. Yes, the delivery did take a long time (half a month), but I am still giving 5 stars because the price is excellent, the quality is as-new, and the customer service team were helpful throughout. Thanks BHC, you have saved my back! read more
