I decided to upcycle two pairs of Lululemon ABC pants, turning them into shorts. I asked to have the pants converted, with an 11" inseam. The attendant measured out 11" a few times, and also noted it on the receipt. I paid $32 bucks and I picked them up today. I am VERY HAPPY with the result. I used to have all my dry cleaning done here for over two years. All the sudden, every shirt had buttons begin to break apart and fall off, even newer shirts. I had several pants, even newer ones split down the middle when I went to sit down; my weight unchanged. The materials appeared to dry out under very light starching. One of my button down shirt pockets came back ripped and they denied having anything to do with it? Same goes with the buttons. The lady actually replaced all ten buttons for free indicating fault. Yeah the owners are nice, but I wasn't paying for nice, just quality cleaning!! Btw I have very few matching buttons left from all the ones they destroyed on all my shirts so finding matches will be difficult, if not impossible to replace. read more

The folks that own this little dry cleaning establishment are always so nice, and the work they do is very good. I've had anything from pants and shirts to my couch cover dry cleaned by this business and the quality has been impeccable. The cleaners also provides basic altering / tayloring of clothes if needed. I had a pair of pants hemmed and they turned out very nice. Parking can be very tricky.... only a few spaces in front of the shop at a weird angle to Beluah, a major thorough-fare, so be careful! The only drawback i see is the cost.... as they do run a little more expensive than other cleaners in the area. However they are right around the corner from my house and give the customer their personal attention, so for that I give them my business. Parking can be very tricky. My husband had three custom suits made while in Italy; we took those suits this establishment for dry cleaning for the first time. The day we came to pick up the suits we were shocked by what was presented to us. They put the suits in the washing machine! The colors were faded, the buttons were falling off the sleeves of suit shirts, and two shirt had not been even pressed! My husband was horrified as he made thousands of dollars for the suits. I asked the owner (woman) why this happened? How could they make such a blatantly obvious mistake? She actually began to blame us saying that we did not specify dry cleaning service?! First this was a totally false statement; we were sure to request dry cleaning despite the fact that is clearly the only logical request. I was completely taken aback, I asked her how many customers did she have that come in with custom made suits and ask to have them machine washed. She then proceeded to tell me we can now have them dry cleaned for an additional fee and then took a phone call in the middle of the conversation. I told her I absolutely would not be paying for dry cleaning service or any other service here ever again. She turned and waved her hand and walked away. I am thoroughly disgusted with the treatment and the service from this business and will be considering taking legal action. Picked up a new shirt that just needed pressed and found a stain on the back when I went to wear it a couple weeks later (still cleaning tag on it). When I brought the shirt back I was told they saw the stain before I dropped off (that's some memory!) anyhow they didn't offer to do anything. Disappointed, too much competition in the area. I was a loyal customer for a few years. The woman who works here is very nice, but the man is quite disrespectful, especially to women. I was disrespected by him on one occasion and the woman (who I assume to be his wife) came to my rescue, so I forgave and returned. My husband and I have been customers of Beulah Custom Cleaners for over the last two years. We have regularly had our alterations and dry cleaning done with no issues - until today! Today, Beulah Custom Cleaners not only ruined a $70 pair of pants, but I paid for them for their hack job while receiving the worst customer service EVER!!!! Customers BEWARE! Your wardrobe could be next. On November 15, 2010 my husband took in 3 pairs of pants for alterations; one pair of tuxedo pants hemmed, a pair of Anne Taylor gray slacks and a pair of Anne Taylor black slacks to let out the hem on the pant legs. Once at home, after my husband paid and picked up our alterations, I noticed that the black pair of Anne Taylor pants were in fact not altered as requested and paid for. Instead of letting out the hem, Beulah Custom Cleaners took in the waist line of the pants significantly; which was not what I paid or asked for. On November 29, 2010, I returned to Beulah Custom cleaners in an attempt to fix/reverse the damage to the brand new pair of pants I just bought. Upon arrival, the seamstress/cashier looked up the receipt from the week prior which clearly states the 3 alterations requested. Despite, this proof of purchase, as well as only a weeks time difference, the cashier/seamstress said there was no proof that the pants that I brought back were the ones on the receipt. I had no high expectations that this cleaner would actually pay to replace my brand new $70 pair of pants due to their negligence, I was rather hoping for an apology/acknowledgment of this mishap, as well as an attempt to repair the damage if possible. Instead, I received the opposite. I was berated by the two cashiers on duty. They went through their log and pulled up a receipt from alterations in July for a pair of pants that the waste was altered for. I told the cashier/seamstress that the pair of pants in question was from the receipt they had from November and that I have, up to this point, been a loyal customer and just wanted the damaged fixed. They then accused me of trying to pull some kind of fast one on them, instead of acknowledging their mistake/butcher job. The cashier told me she remembered my husband's tuxedo pants, but was in the back when the ticket was actually entered in to the system -- convenient amnesia. When I called my husband from the cleaners, he informed me that she in fact the women that took care of our order that day. I told both cashiers that I would have my husband come by later to discuss this matter. I grabbed my pants from the counter to head out of the store, when one of the cashiers ripped the pants out of my hand and demanded my husband come get them. I told the cashier that I would call the police if she didn't give back the merchandise that I paid for. Who knows what would happen if I left the pants with them again; they might take up the hem and insist it was from a ticket from last May. I took my pants back from her and stormed out of the store both angry and confused by what just happened. Not only did I pay Beulah Custom Cleaners to destroy my pants, they also insulted me in process by questioning my intentions --- which by the way, was to fix the hack job they created! The people there are very friendly until they make a mistake or there's a problem. Very poor customer service unless you like to get ruined clothes! I discourage people from using Beulah Custom Cleaners after multiple bad experiences with them. The most recent experience takes the cake. They ruined a shirt of mine and said it wasn't their fault. Besides, if there's a stain on anything that comes into their business, they always make a big production about how they might not be able to get it out. Doesn't give you much confidence in their abilities. Have had multiple experiences of sending clothes back to be cleaned again. I have no choice but to take my business elsewhere. I am withdrawing doing business with this establishment after eight years of bringing my clothes to them. My husband and I were treated poorly when it was brought to their attention that they had given my husband the wrong dress slacks. We brought back the slacks that they gave us-the pants were identical to my husband's except 2 sizes too big-and were treated first like it was somehow our fault and then like we were lying and were told that the pants that we brought back was from another dry cleaner (my husband had removed the tag thinking they were the correct pants and realized due to the size difference that they were given to him by mistake). Ok. Why would we bring back pants and lie about them? Crazy, right? A simple thank you for bringing this to our attention and we will try to find your pants would have been fine. Mistakes happen. I am not upset about the mistake. I am saddened and surprised by the response. I took the pants back home and will try to find the owner myself. If you use this dry cleaner, my advice would be to check all of your clothing items in front of them BEFORE you leave (also check your bill to make sure everything matches). They have a lack of concern for their customers and didn't seem to care at all that they were going to lose us as customers. BTW the dress slacks that we have are charcoal gray, size 40 Nordstrom by JB Britches and we are missing a charcoal gray dress slack by Ralph Lauren (size 36). read more
