I reached out to 'Betty' for 2 dozen cupcakes for my father's birthday - he has Celiac's disease and is extremely sensitive to gluten and we wanted to get something for the party that he could enjoy but that would also be delicious for everyone, and they absolutely delivered. Normally gluten free baked goods are fine, but they don't knock your socks off; they are usually dry and crumbly and those who don't have an allergy gravitate towards other treats. These cupcakes through were a HIT - with EVERYONE. Including myself. I put three aside ahead of time and I'm so glad I did because the rest were eaten in about 10 minutes, no exaggeration. This is the best cupcake I've ever had (gluten free or otherwise). I requested chocolate and peanut butter cupcakes (my dad's favorite candy is Reese's). The texture of the cupcake was absolute perfection. The cake was moist, delicious, and not too sweet (it was dark chocolate). The frosting was peanut butter with bits of Reese's, and had the perfect light but still buttercream texture that almost melted in my mouth. Usually cupcakes are too sweet for me, but I ate all of mine, frosting included. 'Betty' is a very talented baker and we will be back for more. I messaged them on the website but never heard back, so I would recommend messaging here. I think the price was reasonable, and she was able to give me a quote ahead of time. I was at the Lakeline Mall farmers market today and bought some gluten free baked goods from Betty's Glutenless Gluttony and everything I purchased was AMAZING!!! I have been trying to find someone that GETS the whole GF thing. I have spent an insane amount of money on GF foods that go right into the trash. But now I know this is the GF ticket. The carrot cake was so good that no one in my family realized they were eating cake that was GF. The chocolate whoopie pies were unbelievable. I also purchased a quiche that would rival any restaurant in Austin and it was gluten free!!!!!!! Thank you thank you thank you Betty!!! I will be back to the farmers market next saturday and I will come earlier next time because she had sold out of a lot of her baked goods. read more

When I found out that I was gluten intolerant, I thought I'd said goodbye to delicious baked treats forever. Then one day I wandered into the Monument Market in Georgetown, and I saw some of Betty's treats. Holy moly. I never thought I'd eat another red velvet cupcake or whoopie pie, and boy was I wrong. Betty's baked goods give their gluten ridden counterparts a serious run for their money. My husband (who can eat bread and gluten all day) even LOVES this stuff. I really have to watch myself. I'll eat a whole package of her mini whoopie pies in one sitting, if left unattended!! I highly recommend this place for ANYONE, not just those of us who cannot enjoy gluten :) read more
