    CHEESESTEAK (BEEF OR CHICKEN)

Place was quite nothing special about inside of the restaurant. No real decor or anything. I got the plain cheesesteak with American cheese. It was either that or provolone. Steak was chopped up, nice tender, but definitely kind of light on the meat and not much care and making a sandwich considering there was nobody else there and didn't look like he was working on the other orders. I noticed after I had ordered started mine that there was a special with fries and soda just about the same price. It would've been nice to know that ahead of time But he didn't ask if I wanted fries or a drink. as you can tell about the pictures, not exactly a Great sandwich.

This is supposed to be a cheesesteak with American cheese, onions, and pepper

I really wanted to like this place. But unfortunately, the cheesesteak wasn't that good. I'm not even sure they had cheese in it. It was the same as having a steak-umm from the freezer. There was almost no flavor to the beef, and the bread had no taste whatsoever and horrible texture. The place needs to be cleaned a little bit better. It didn't have a fun or friendly vibe. The staff was not very friendly as well. I said "hello and "thank you "to them and each time all I got was a stone face, staring at me. I really hate to give an unfavorable review but I really think this place needs to reset. I think they have become complacent in the running of their restaurant. However, we all know complacency kills.

Once I find a specific item on a menu that I like, I tend to stick with it; so this review is about the 4 or so times I've ordered the whiting fish cheesesteak with their special sauce and cheddar cheese. It's so damn yummy and filling. I order off their website which is very user-friendly and gives you the estimated time for pick up. This place is worth the visit.

#1 The staff is worthy of better products to serve. Fountain drinks? Maybe it is the water source or piping. Tried three different drinks all had a lingering taste. Not one a good one. Now on to the claim "Better than blah blah" good slogan but not even in the same country! Maybe it was a bad day, bad weather? I ate the stake so not the worst but I would drive several miles before doing it again! I don't like being hard on a place that is new but if they are to survive they will have to up there game. Buy better ketchup, better mayo, stock brand name drinks bottled, need to see the raw beef to voice an opinion as to the quality of the meat. Could be the seasoning that I question. As for the fountain drinks contact the pepsi vendor to tweak the drinks and test the water. For the staff turn up the heat! Heard several complaints about it being cold in the shop. I lived in Chicago for a few years so they don't know what cold is. The two stars are for staff there efforts. I welcome chat back from owner. Fyi I have had Cheese steak from: Tony Luke's, Pat's, Geno's, Sonny's, Steak and Hoagie Factory, and many many more for my point of reference. Will have to come back to try the wings!

I ordered via Uber Eats and the food was delicious and I have no complaints. Their menu includes a variety of items and I definitely look forward to returning and dining in person. We ordered a cheese steak and wings. Both were great.

We stopped by for dinner last night. Pretty solid cheese steak. Got the standard one with onions and yellow cheese. The bread was soft and the sandwich over all was good. It came with fries and the portion was a little light, but they were the twice fried type and they were very good. We also got the wings with the Henny Sticky sauce and they were delicious and stayed hot when we have them back at home. The only negative was the small portion of fries as part of the combo.

Literally there was a mosquito in my French fry. Guess it got in the fryer. not clean And I KNOW this is not from the potato or a sprout.

The inside of one side of the sandwhich. Decent meat but the bread separated and came apart quickly.

Not a place for cheesesteaks at all! The star here is the wings. The henny sauce wings are signature. The cheesesteak options are great. However, the bread is lackluster and appeared on the stale end. Parking is in the plaza so that's not a problem. The staff in the front were extemely patient and helpful. The resturant appeared clean ans well maintained which is always greatly appreciated. Very creative menu. I hope they find or get better bread.

It had a few stools lined up and no dining tables, as it's meant for a quick, casual meal. What makes this diner special is that it's a classic Kullman Dinette from 1946, which is famous for its stainless steel designs that create a timeless yet nostalgic look. I ordered the double cheeseburger, which came with fries. The only person working there prepared it in front of me. He was extremely friendly, and my meal was ready within 5 minutes. The burger was okay, and he checked to ensure I was satisfied with my order. I would recommend asking for his recommendations if you're new to the dining experience like I am. This place is truly a hole in the wall, with a tiny counter and stools... but the service from the two smiling men working behind the counter was friendly, the wait was short, and the breakfast was delicious and ample. $31 for two people, which was a little more than I expected initially, until I saw how much food we got-- 3 slices of French toast, 3 pancakes, 2 sides of hash browns, 1 orange juice, and 4-5 pieces of bacon each... my boyfriend can't remember how many pieces he had, but remarked that he got tired of eating crispy bacon, that's how much he had! Loved that the French toast was the perfect balance of soft and crisp on the edges, and somehow so creamy and sweet. The pancakes were thin but still fluffy, and the hash browns were savory with onions and chives. Everything hit just right. We enjoyed watching the sky light up through the front window as we scarfed down our tasty meals. It was exactly what we needed after an early wake-up and long drive to the airport (and the return trip ahead of us).

My old phone was taking blurry pics from far away so I wasn't able to capture it, but think very cozy, fireplace with candles glowing from within, and little alcoves in the wall for candle clusters. It was perfectly elevated while still being casual and approachable. When we came there was a Mac and cheese special with pulled bbq pork on top. I knew we had to get that because it is right up my husbands alley. It did not disappoint, my husband was tempted to order some to take home! The pasta was super creamy and cheesy, mixed with the roasted pulled smoky bbq pork on top, it was the ultimate comfort food for the cold rainy day we were having. For my meal I got the Grilled Cheese which is more of an elevated "grown up" grilled cheese. It had cheese, thin apple slices, fig jam and bacon. The flavors were great, I only wish there was a little more cheese or a little less jam to balance the sweet and savory a little more, because for me it was a touch too sweet. The sourdough it was made with was delicious and fresh, I also appreciate that they don't seem to soak their grilled cheese in oil like a lot of places do (butter or nothing, please!!) My husband ordered the burger which he really enjoyed but nothing was going to top the pulled pork Mac and cheese for him. They should consider adding it to the regular menu! He originally wanted the duck sandwich but it was unavailable on this day. All in all it was a cozy afternoon together. Our waitress was very friendly and made sure to check on us without ever being too overbearing.

For the dishes here, you build your own, but it's pretty simple. You pick your protein (beef, chicken, lamb, roast pork, fish, shrimp) then decide if you want it on a bun, over rice, on a salad, or on a platter, and add any of a whole bunch of toppings like onions, pickles, beans, fried egg, pico, bacon, mushrooms, jalapeños and others. Or you can build tacos! The angus burger is vey good. The fries are pretty standard, but the onion rings are thick, crispy and flavorful. I always have too many. The slow roasted pork is very good, and I always get it over the white rice, which is tossed with olive oil and cilantro. The rice is very aromatic,I think it's basmati.I also like the salmon, but sometimes it can be a little dry. This is probably due to getting it to go and it steams more in the packaging. We also really like the tacos, having tried the shrimp version, AND the fish tacos, AND the chicken, AND the pork. My mother would get the shrimp tacos over and over again, my favorite is probably the pork. You can have it with tons of toppings, which we usually do. I also had the Cuban sandwich and had no complaints. Lots of choices and ways to customize, mix and match, and keep it new each time. Probably something for everyone in a family with different tastes.
