From the moment they arrived, they got right to work and did not waste a single minute. Back Savers showed up with so many movers I almost lost count. 6 or 7 of the most clean cut, uniform wearing gentleman. They got to work right away helping me finish wrapping up odds and ends. I opted to provide the boxes and supplies needed for the move but I noticed that they did have extra supplies to wrap the couches etc. We are having to get the crew to come back out again tomorrow because I needed more storage. If I did have the extra storage space today they could have easily finished up today. These people are serious about getting the job done. One of the crew was on his phone nearly the whole time and needed several verbal prompts and reminders of tasks. Throughout the LOAD, the crew did not use tie-downs or ratchet straps at all to secure the load throughout the truck. I kept mentioning it as a suggestion (knowing they're the 'professionals' and should know what they're doing, and again, give them the benefit of the doubt... but I've also moved several times and know securing throughout the truck is critical for security) but they assured me 'it was packed tightly.' Additionally, the crew did not use provided furniture pads or plastic shrink wrap to wrap/protect furniture, shelving, pictures, paintings, etc. - even with me giving suggestions to do so... When we unloaded at our destination, several pieces of furniture were damaged, either punctured, scuffed, scratched, or bent... because the load was not tied down nor were furniture pads used to protect surfaces. I wanted to trust that everything would go well, but it didn't unfortunately... so all of this to say... I'd not recommend this team.

The team did work extremely hard but we did hear that they had not worked together as a crew before and had not worked with the lead I called the move coordinator, Kipp on May 6 prior to my May 22 move date to tell him I thought the amount of boxes I had needed to be reevaluated for the movers. I was told that I had 81 boxes listed and that should be enough, but on the day of the move I was told that all my items would not fit in the trucks. So instead of taking the initiative of calling their office to see what could be done to provide another truck or follow up the next day, nothing was done and I had to scramble with the help of my family and neighbors to complete what they should have done. This was a stressful move for me and made even more so by the lack of initiative and listening to the client to provide additional help.
