A project was officially begun on January 19th for a small multi-unit building. For most of the 218…read moredays since the official start, there have been a minimum number of workers on site, averaging two for an entire day. On many perfectly beautiful weather days there were no workers present at all. Excuses such as "mud" on the ground were put forth for delays and slow pace. We live, and this company operates, in Chicago, not Phoenix. Weather and mud are part of the annual environmental factors here, and there are obvious ways to manage those factors. I have patiently waited many months before submitting this review. I am fed up. There are elderly and disabled people in this building whose only reasonable access to being outside of their units is to access their balconies. I see many good reviews for this company. All I can say is that they have apparently placed a very low priority on this project. This is so disrespectful of the residents of this property, who paid up front for the work. I find it hard to politely convey how angry I am with this company.

Hammerbrush replaced our siding sometime last year. Our contact was Mark P. At the start of the…read moreproject Mark was just a call or text away and easy to reach. I actually happy for the whole process because he made everything easy to deal with. Everything was great that I even thought that when the time comes for my roof to be replaced, I would call him. We'll, not even a year pass, one part of the siding in the back of my garage next to the ceiling, came off, and slipped on the ground There was no high winds or storm during those times. Right away I took a picture and send that it to Mark. It took awhile and a few text messages for him to reply. He said he will order the parts. I said the siding was still good, can still be used I guessed. He was the expert, so I waited. A month passed, no word from him. I messaged him, I called him and left a voicemail. No reply. I even told him, I'm giving him a chance before I write my review like I usually do, either I'm happy or sad with the service I received. No reply, no email or a call from Mark or any representative to even just a courtesy call and to tell me that He didn't care. Now another raised. The connections between sidings and trims on my sunroom windows were melting it seemed. So now there's a gap and the trims coming off. That was one of the reasons why I had my sidings replaced.

Execution was perfect, window was ordered to specs and installed in one day. Replacement trim was carefully thought out, primed and ready to paint. Reiner Construction is not least expensive but quality of workmanship is worth it, no surprises and highly dependable. Thank you Jake...Ed and Erik. Well done!

Even though I…read moreprovided blue prints to them Jake insisted on coming out to the property to look at the scope of the project so that he could give me the best estimate of the time cost and resources the job would require. Weather was not on our side throughout the project but his crew labored on, despite the sometimes horrible conditions the crew was always polite and in good spirits. Despite the delays caused by mother nature and the extra time the job took because of them the price of the job didn't change. Daily Jake explained to me what was going on, showed me the progress and explained to me what they were doing and why, I was happy they didn't cut corners and made an extra effort to give me the best work / product possible. They were also extremely conservative with materials, making sure to minimize waste and thus minimize cost, something I haven't seen from contractors I've worked with in the past. In the end I felt like Reiner Construction built my home like they were building it for one of their own family members, the quality, attention to detail and experience was unmatched. I would recommend them to anyone, and will definitely be hiring them again in the spring for my next project their work and work ethic is completely inline with their pricing, they weren't the cheapest bid I got on the job, but I am certain I would not have gotten the quality and peace of mind had I not gone with them. You get what you pay for, and in this case I couldn't be happier.

We found Rite-Way to be outstanding and could not be more pleased with their quality of work. With the work having been completed over two years ago, we have lived in our new space and are very impressed with the ongoing quality of their work and the craftsmanship of their cabinets. Marv and Walt worked with us and addressed all of our questions and concerns. Remodeling is never problem-free and unanticipated issues always arise. Marv and Walt were very open and understanding as issues arose. Our village building inspectors were also aware of Rite-Way and once they discovered Rite-Way was our general contractor, the inspections went very smoothly. We had only one issue arise during our warrantee period and Walt followed through on a timely and professional basis and resolved it quickly and professionally with the subcontractor. I highly recommend Rite-Way and the team we had, Connor and Miguel.

DO NOT HIRE THEM I…read morehad an insurance claim on my home and hired them to do the work. It included drywall work, paining, installing tile floor, and also finishing my basement. I can tell you that Their painting job is not professional. There's multiple areas where they missed painting or didn't paint at all. The drywall work needed additional sanding and refinishing. The tile floor had to be torn out and redone due to tiles popping out. The drop ceiling in the basement needed redone because it wasn't level and had no supports in it. The work was beyond terrible. Now onto the employees. Mike and Laura are the "owners" who I dealt with. Mike and his guys never showed up when they said they would and left whenever they wanted because they said Mike didn't pay them enough. The employees stole my alcohol, all of it. They stole food and last but not least they stole my tools. I would also catch the workers using my tools to do the job and ask why and they would tell me because they didn't have it. I had to help finish jobs for these guys because they couldn't "get it." They agreed to paint my banister and then tried to get another $500 out of me but I refused and they agreed to paint it for the original amount. They continued to try and change prices on scope of work mid job. I finally had the last of it and fired them when I found an employee had been urinating in a one gallon jug in my basement instead of using the restroom that was up the stairs. Mike made excuses that one of his guys had a drinking problem and he did pay me back for the stolen alcohol but not my tools. Some times no one would even show up to work on a certain day and I would call and mike nor Laura would know what's going on. Don't make the same mistake I did.
