It's ok as far as coffee places go, I suppose. I'm not a fan of Starbucks or any of 'em really. The main reason I'm making a review of this one is their ordering process. I bothered to drive there and am standing at the counter, but I have to wait for the only cashier/barrista whatever to stop taking phone orders in order to take my order, and I can't get through that without him answering the phone again! Since when do people too lazy to enter the store take precedence over the live customer in front of you? My time is just as valuable as theirs! Also, ALL of the parking nearby is for the call in people to park and pick up their orders. I had to park way down past Orange Theory. We just tried this coffee shop and this is the WORST COFFEE I've ever tasted. Last week I purchased a large latte and it tasted like the coffee beans walked the hot water. Did not report this because the coffee shop is brand new and assumed they have not worked out the kinks yet. Today; Saturday 11/12/2022 ordered a regular latte and 3 shot vanilla caramel latte and just like last week, both coffees tasted like hot water with a dash of instant coffee in fact you can't even smell the coffee. I am really sorry to see the quality at Better buzz going down so fast lately. We were happy to see it inTemecula. I used to order caprese sandwitch, really good bread, mozzarela, basil and fresh tomatoes. Simple recipe, you would think it is easy to execute with the right ingredients. This time i got a sort of cream cheese a bit soury instead of mozarella. Not sure if it is a management issue not checking the quality of the ingredients, their storage, etc, lack of training, but if it goes this way many people will definitely choose other coffee stores in the area with more consistent quality. Now at Better Buzz is more of a hit and miss. On the positive side, their Best drink ever, when is done by the more experienced employees is quite good. read more

Better Buzz is a San Diego staple chain, so I always make sure to come to one of their locations whenever I am nearby. I do have to say that the quality of their coffee has really gone down. I remember a few years ago the iced best drink felt like it was a good value, but now it just lies a little flat. Will probably not be ordering the iced best drink moving forward but would give it another chance with a different drink. read more

It is June 9 at 5:55 PM. I always come to this location after work or even before work. I work at Temecula Valley Hospital for the first time ever I was treated very rudely by whom ever was at the drive-through. She was very, very rude. She said my name before I paid and it was the wrong name so I told her I'm sorry that's not me. She repeated the order and I said sorry that's not my order. She proceeded and apologizing and then still gave me the wrong order and I said I'm sorry that's I wanted a honey latte that's not my order. She got frustrated. Grab my coffee and said here and just gave it to me and was very very rude. Yesterday (Sunday 7/2) afternoon my family and I went through the drive through in Temecula and what a fantastic experience we had. We have never been to Better Buzz and found it on Google as we were on our way home from Oceanside. Not many coffee shops were still open and we decided to check this one out. We enjoy trying different coffee houses. From the very first greeting by Fernando G all the way to the final delivery every step in the process was very pleasant and enjoyable!!! We have to give a special shout out to Fernando as he was energetic, informative, and overall outstanding!!! The 3 of us in the car all said after placing our order "that was the best drive through ordering experience ever". This shop opened up in our area not too long ago! Our family is so happy they are in our little neck of the woods. Before when we wanted our Coconut Buzz fix we had to wait till we were in San Diego. Now we can get one any time we like! Our usual order is the Coconut or Caramel Buzz, both equally good. On this visit I decided to try their "Breakfast Chiabatta" and the Blueberry Lavendar Lemonade. Both were really good. The sandwich was hot and fresh and the egg was delicious! The drink has become one of my favorite non coffee beverages. The fresh mint in the drink adds lots of flavor. So far I haven't had anything that I didn't like. The clerk at the register was very nice and helpful. This time around we walked inside since the drive through line was so long. It didn't take very much time at all, which I really liked. The fact that BB is only about 2 minutes from my home is an added plus! We will continue to come here when we want something quick and tasty. Yes we do frequent the ever popular Starbucks, but sometimes you want just a little something extra. Got the horchata latte and it barely tasted anything like horchata. Also not very sweet. Got a large and it was just filled with ice. My friend got a rose water latte and asked it to be iced. It came out hot. When she asked them to remake it, they said it doesn't come iced... but she specifically asked it to be iced when ordering, so they should have mentioned that when she ordered? Also didn't offer to remake the drink. Overall, not great coffee and pretty disappointing customer service. Nice interior though. read more

Went for coffee today, I guess it wasn't the day to get AURORA as our barista! She ruined the experience & what's even more epic is that is my grand-daughters name. Went to drive- thru. Had a terrible customer service experience. Aurora was our barista and her customer service skills are lacking to say the least! She handed us our drinks & we informed her we asked for Carmel in the cup & she was super angry that it had to be corrected. Asked her to add the Carmel inside, she then threw some on top & handed it back, then I informed her I asked for it inside the cup & she stated "that's how we do it". I informed her I would like the Carmel inside the Cup not just a blob of it on top, she snatched the cup out of my hand & her co-worker re-made it, the way it was ordered. I asked her if I could get her name & she stated she doesn't feel like disclosing that to me, I asked for manager & he gave me her name & stated he would speak to her about the attitude. I love Better Buzz so I'm hoping this was just a bad experience but this was my first time at this location and I was really disappointed. I ordered a vanilla espresso bean buzz but instead got a vanilla buzz. I ordered a breakfast sandwich with extra crispy bacon and I got one sad sandwich with hardly any bacon at all and not crispy. If their prices were proportionate to the quality - I wouldn't of minded. But when your sandwich is the same price as a pound of bacon and you get like two pieces, that's not right. I ordered it to go & the line was way too long so I didn't get to see what I had until I got home. Hopefully I'll have a better experience if there's a next time for this location. read more

I've been a little out of the game and didn't know how hyped up Better Buzz would be, but now that I've tried it multiple times I understand why. Though I am not a coffee drinker. Maybe they converted me. They have a few yummy tea options and I have to say my go to is Lavender Tea latte or Matcha, sometimes adding lavender to it as well. The croissants are so flakey and yummy! One star for the fact that the drink is good. What sucks about this location is that it took 30 minutes to get my drink. Despite order for pick up through the app. No one even bothered to acknowledge me waiting for my drink. Then when I finally got a hold of somebody's attention they checked and it was in the back they have a pick up station that they don't utilize so you have to ASK for your drink. So ridiculous. Might as well go to the Press or Starbucks. Definitely need to work on how to better prepare for crowds and prioritizing line of order. Never coming back again. read more

Overall, solid location of a Better Buzz. It's in an annoying parking lot, so mentally prepare for that if you're in a hurry or have any type of driving anxiety or road rage. In my opinion, Skip the bacon ciabatta breakfast sandwich. The flavors would all be there but when I've ordered it doesn't taste fresh. Unfortunately, I'd take a Starbucks bacon Gouda over this.
