Twice now dealt with the same rude and petty barista. Menu knowledge also isn't common knowledge for baristas here as they don't know ingredients in their drinks which is scary. First time I ever came here I asked what was the energy concept of their energy drinks and all the girl could say was our energy blend, when I asked for further clarification she had no idea and just shrugged her shoulders. Seems like it could be a good place but I won't be back strictly because of the rude girls they have working here. I'm in customer service and you don't treat people like that. Im loving the new Better Buzz in Surprise. The atmosphere is super chill, bright, modern, and just a good vibe. It feels like the kind of place you actually want to spend some time in. Service has been on point too, drinks come out quick, even when it's busy, and the staff is always upbeat. The menu's got variety, and everything I've tried so far has been solid (highly recommend the "Best Drink Ever" and their breakfast wraps). Quick shout-out to James--he really knows his coffee and is always eager to help you figure out what to try next. Super friendly and makes the whole experience even better. After my sixth or maybe seventh time of being here, I think it's fair to give the proper review when the experience has been the same every single time. I'm a coffee connoisseur and compared to every single coffee place. I've tried around town in surprise this particular place has the worst customer service and it's not even close. Very unfriendly staff in general. Hard to get me to spend my money somewhere when there's so many options and the service is better elsewhere. Been wanting to check out what the "buzz" was all about and finally go to this last weekend.. Went through the drive thru and although there were a few cars ahead of us, the wait wasn't too long. Drive through area had 2 lanes with fairly wide drive ways making it easy to loop around. Menu had a variety of drinks and treats to choose from. We were greeted right away and service was very friendly, as we didn't feel rushed or overwhelmed. I I personally been wanting to try the mint infused iced coffee so I got that and my passenger princess has been on this matcha latte kick so she ordered that . We both got a size small that was plenty. Drinks were well made and we loved the matcha it was full of flavor unlike many other places. We were asked to pull around and park and wait for my drink, as it took a little longer to prep . Didn't mind, it was matter of minutes. My drink was not bad but could use a bit more boldness. I'm a coffee drinker but I was not a fan of this coffee. It was strong and didn't have a good flavor. It's bitter which I don't like. I don't like Starbucks either and this reminded me of that. I was also thought one of the workers was rude to a customer. The customer walked in and the worker said they close in 5 minutes. So what?! She was in the store before it closed.
