This was my first experience at Better Buzz coffee and I had big hopes. The coffee is great. But the customer service was confusing. And customers patiently waited for assistance. They'd make eye contact, but didn't actually say something like, "we'll be with you in just a second." I watched this happen with several customers during the time that I was working. The customer would have to actually make the request for help. Also, this is a new establishment... And it's dirty. The floor is dirty, the station where the straws and napkins are looks like it hasn't been wiped down and the garbage is full. There are a straw wrappers on the surface. And from where I was sitting I can see that the counter where they set the coffee for pick up is filthy. It would be one thing if they look like they were short staffed, but baristas gathered together and chatted in between making drinks. One of them very easily could have wiped down the surfaces or swept the floor. It's disappointing. I'm more than likely won't be a returning customer... I'm a big coffee drinker. read more

It is incredibly annoying when you order in the drive through and then get home to find out they didn't complete your breakfast sandwich. They left out the best part, the pesto aioli sauce. Stopped by during my overnight drive from Vegas to Tucson for a little caffeine boost and not only did I get my caffeine fix, the staff was also super friendly and helpful. I asked one of the baristas about the ingredients in a drink and let's just say he went above and beyond! Safe to say I will continue to always stop by Better Buzz for their delicious coffee whenever I am in the Phoenix area. I also frequent the San Diego locations but the service at this location outshines those in SD. P.S. We need a Tucson location! read more

Ordered two best drinks ever and waited in line for over 30 minutes. On my first sip of my coffee and I almost swallowed a massive thumb nail that someone bit off and left in my coffee. Absolutely mortifying, this thing was not small. A hair in your food/drink is one thing but a chewed fingernail is just wrong. Came here three times while on vacation. My husband ordered a cappuccino every time and I got the matcha coconut and best drink ever with cinnamon cold foam (twice). Drinks were all good and my husband said his cappuccinos were consistent in flavor and he liked them. Staff were also very kind. read more

Last week I went to Better Buzz and ordered a snickerdoodle cookie. I was accidentally given a peanut butter cookie, and I took a bite without realizing this. I have a severe peanut allergy, and I called Better Buzz right after, and the manager Steven was apologetic and said they would comp my order the next time I came in. Fast forward to today, I went to Better Buzz and explained the situation to an employee, who seemed to not take me seriously. She ended up only giving me one thing I ordered for free. I felt like the severity of the situation was completely dismissed. I also noticed today that the snickerdoodle cookies and the peanut butter cookies are stacked on each other on the display, causing cross contamination. The food was amazing, but I would be cautious going here if you have peanut allergies! read more

First place open in this new corner of the intersection. Just went the drive through route to give the coffee a try. The servers were great with friendly, cheerful exuberance for their product and their facility. Quick service and the coffee was really good, rivals Dutch Bros in terms of deep coffee taste without bitterness or unpleasant aftertaste. Buzz is close by and I am sure it will become a regular stop...providing the costs do not rise and become silly. read more
