I had called earlier, and the woman was very helpful on the telephone. When I arrived, she assisted me with my purchase, as did a man, she and even carried the umbrella all the way to my car and put it in the back seat of my car, which was parked in one of the several handicapped parking spaces located just behind Ace Hardware. All in all my experience was totally seemless.

I figured I'd go to the big box store (not Home Depot as I'm boycotting) but got diverted to Ace because of flooding. Checked them out and figured I'd do a price check by heading to the other place. Lo and behold, Ace was comparable in price and had a better selection. This wasn't the first time I went to Ace either. They beat the price for a garbage disposal by $50 just a week previous. This location is well stocked and has friendly help. They also have a bbq supply place attached that has some cool stuff. I've even bought my stocking stuffers here in the past. I highly, highly recommend this location. Parking is available in the back for those who are afraid of trying to find a spot. Great option for your hardware needs.

One time I took a pair of rusty scissors that were my favorite shears and he was able to not only sharpen them but remove all the rust. Most cuts and gashes happen because of dull knives. Why? Because one has to use more force. Why should you always be upset that your scissors don't cut! Or that your shears for fabric don't make that clean sound when cutting? Anything with an edge on it, this sharpenning master can do it. You can leave your items and he will call you when they are ready. I have literally taken every single knife and scissor to this man. Unless you have a sharpenning block and machine, there is no device that will sharpen your knives as well as this man.

I didn't have an appointment, but was able to drop my knives off, grab a breakfast sandwich a block away, and pickup my knives within an hour. I don't recall the price I paid but it was cash only, and I thought it was very reasonable. There wasn't anything I wasn't happy with. All my knives were sharpened back to how they should be. I will definitely return whenever my knife edges get dull again.

If you're looking for products that you just can't find at a regular Costco warehouse, the Costco…read moreBusiness Center in Kearny Mesa is absolutely worth the trip! I stopped by for my usual favorites, and the number one item on my list is always the beef bacon. It's hands down one of the best products they carry. Yes, it's a little pricier than traditional bacon, but the quality is outstanding and well worth every penny. Plus I don't eat pork so it's a staple in my home. An added bonus? Save the beef tallow after cooking--it has so many great uses in the kitchen! Another reason I love shopping here is the produce section. Today I picked up raspberries, blueberries, strawberries, and blackberries, and every package looked fresh and beautiful. Unlike some warehouse visits, I didn't have to dig through multiple boxes just to find a good batch. This is also my go-to spot for heavy cream and buttermilk, especially since I make homemade bread. The prices are excellent, and they consistently have the larger sizes I need. One thing that really sets this location apart is the customer service. The greeters and cashiers are always welcoming, friendly, and genuinely personable, making every visit enjoyable. I also appreciate that the Business Center is much less crowded than a traditional Costco warehouse. Most shoppers are business owners grabbing what they need, so it's a much quicker and more relaxed shopping experience. Their early opening time of 6:45 a.m. is another huge plus, and although they close around 6:00 p.m., I never feel rushed if I'm already inside finishing my shopping. If you're ever in the area, do yourself a favor and pick up the beef bacon. Trust me--you won't be disappointed. You can thank me later!

I only have two malls i consistently go in San Diego, the Fashion Valley Mall and the UTC Mall…read more However, UTC mall is more of a leisure... to walk around and kill time, for my son to play at the playground, for the festivities on the holiday season especially Xmas, to have family fun dates and good food experiences at nearby restaurants and the mall I always go to every time I have issues with my Apple iPhone and techs. The fashion Valley Mall tho, is my main mall. This is the mall where I actually do most of my shopping. We watch movies at the AMC theater when we have extra time and get food at the cafeteria/food court area after hours of walking. My son never misses going inside the Laderach to get a free taste, the best chocolate there is. We love going to this mall, especially with my son now being a teenager, we would most likely be doing lots of our shopping activities here especially at his favorite boutiques, like the zumies, Hollister, Rayban, and plenty others I do not recall.... We also love going to The escape room where the mall is. My favorite is the Nordstrom Rack! ;) The holidays tho could get really packed and busy but there's alot of nice things to see and lots of good deals to look forward to.

I will never come back to Fashion Valley Mall again…read more I was very disappointed with my experience. The mall itself has great stores, but what stood out to me was the number of homeless individuals throughout property. As a shopper, I did not feel comfortable walking around the mall. My two young kids were very uncomfortable, I have to move them from the food court and sit and eat elsewhere. For a high-end shopping destination, I expected a cleaner, safer, and more welcoming environment. Management needs to do a better job maintaining the property and ensuring guests feel comfortable while shopping. Unfortunately, this experience was enough that I won't be returning.
