But after the work was completed the owner would call/text several times a day looking for payment. So he clearly knew how to call and text just not when I was calling and texting trying to figure out why they were not showing up to finish the job.

But the most significant work they've done was to create, from the ground up, an addition to our house. We call it an addition, a sunroom, our new "hang out all day" room. A 14x16 vaulted ceiling with support beam masterpiece, the casement windows are all handmade with the finest craftsmanship and care. They spent hours, days and weeks measuring, sanding, staining, painting, glueing, nailing, and appraising. Perfection was the goal and it was accomplished over and over again. We were especially appreciative of the creativity and thoughtfulness with design and vision: Blaine especially was adept at providing the many options involved in all aspects of the job to choose from - such as tile material and color to stain shades - and then, when asked, gave his highly informed and relevant ideas and opinions. And when supplier issues and delays occurred as they always seem to these days they were undeterred and never rushed nor took shortcuts. We decided on a wood deck to match the majority of the homes in our HOA, and because we just like the look better. From the beginning of his crew showing up till the last piece of trash picked up they were extremely friendly and FAST!! They started on a Tuesday and finished by Friday for a 24'x16' deck that was 6' off the ground on uneven ground. Finish product was even better than the graphic design of it. We signed the contract and gave a check for $40,000. After which it was hard to get in contact with him for several weeks. After meeting with him again to let him know how unhappy we were he said he was on vacation and was so sorry and said that the deck will be completed by July 4th. He has since not been in contact with us at all. The last communication was the beginning of the month to let us know that materials would come in 2 days. Again NO RESPONSE and none of the materials have showed. Ryan is COMPLETELY and UTTERLY unprofessional and lack the decency and common sense to reply to paying customers. Perhaps because I am an immigrant he believes that he can take advantage of me but he cannot. I am still awaiting a call from Ryan and will also be in contact with his supplies as well to let them know there reputation is on the line as well because they should not be dealing with someone who has such shady business practices.
