My expectations were surpassed by the quality of workmanship and dedication each member of there crew's performance. The attention to detail was amazing. From covering my inground pool with plastic sheet to prevent possible cement falling to the bottom, covering the house with plastic sheet to prevent cement splash from hitting my siding to covering the base of my 6 x6 upper deck support beams with tar based post sleeves. Most importantly, I took down two sections of fence so equipment would be able to access my back yard. I went outside to dig a hole for a new fence post that needed replacing. As I began to dig, one of the workers, on his lunch break, came to me and volunteered to dig the hole for me. These are workers that take pride in there job and are happy to be working for this company. I had the pleasure of meeting the owner and his wife and completely understand why this is such a successful company. Please give them a try on your next project.

He took over an hour to measure everything and sent me the lumber quote he received so that I was fully informed, then we talked labor. He would point out problematic areas (like rotting framing) and would ask me if I wanted to have it replaced rather than just covering it up with the new surface. He did an amazing job that had my mom's tenants and the neighbors complementing the work and I felt the price was very reasonable. Based on that job, I brought him out to take a look at my townhouse to possibly replace the siding and he suggested sanding, priming and painting instead due to the price of replacement. They sanded almost every square inch of it, primed it (in some areas twice) with a peeling paint primer that is like glue to fill in gaps and keep the rest of the old paint from peeling, and then put a double coat over everything. When they finished, I was surprised to find that they had power washed our patio, porch, and front half-height fence and even painted the fence though we never talked about doing any of that work. I felt compelled to pay him extra. Deck Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wELQYf0YGKY

The crew came out one day and finished the next day. (They did a LOT of work). All of them were hard workers, courteous, efficient in their job and answered all the questions that we had. Brad Harris, the owner, came out and talked with us to see what we wanted and to take measurements and discuss materials. He promptly sent us a proposal by email. We were not ready to move forward immediately and before we could set a date we were contacted again by Brad. He had paving stones left over from previous jobs and sent us a photo to ask if we liked them -- and told us that he would give them to us for free to save us a little money. This is typical for this company. They are always striving to provide a great product at the least cost for the customer. At the end of July we were ready to have the patio installed and Brad and his crew showed up on time and ready to go. They do one job at a time and stay until your job is done. Unlike some other companies, they do not disappear for days at a time to work on another job while your job is half done. They are very professional and have a huge trailer to carry their equipment. Brad and his crew are always ready for the unexpected. When digging up the old patio they discovered there was a cement slab beneath the bricks. A lot of companies would tag on extra charges for something like this but not Tranquility Outdoors. They had a jackhammer and busted up the concrete and added it to the debris to be carried off. The completed patio is absolutely beautiful. They used surveying equipment to get the tilt perfect so that rain would run off one side. It is such a slight tilt you would need the surveying equipment to know it's even there. The stones are laid in a beautiful pattern and look like they were part of the original landscaping. They scattered seed and covered it with straw around the edges for us. Tranquility Outdoors is known to do little extras while on site to help the customer at little or no additional charge. A neighbor wanted the old bricks from our patio. Brad went to the neighbors house, hooked up their trailer and brought it over to our house, loaded the bricks and returned the trailer to the neighbors home. We noticed that a slate step coming down from our porch was broken and Brad repaired it with a piece of slate from an existing walkway -- again at no cost to us. He even noticed a low spot in our front yard where we had put some fill dirt and took some extra seed and scattered it covering it with straw for us -- at no charge and without us asking. We have always been extremely happy with this company's work ethic and with the end product they create. They are just a stellar company all the way around. Anything they build for you -- Tranquility Outdoors will make sure you are happy with. And it all gets done with no headaches!

CJ came out, looked at what we had (flagstone walkway in need of repair) and gave us a couple of different scenarios/costs for work based on what the masons found when they came out. We decided to go with Salzano as they wouldn't guarantee the minimal effort/cost, but gave us several estimates based on level of effort. The other company just said, "Yeah, we can do it." after a cursory glance. As it turns out, the walkway was salvageable and we didn't have to go to the more effort/higher cost options (they didn't BS us just to make more$$). The work performed is immaculate including coming back to pressure /acid wash the flagstones when the mortar set and also repair a tiny bit of mortar that came loose. The communication with CJ and the Salzano office was great throughout the process. I most highly recommend them.
