Went for one thing... APPLES! Best place in Warren. Clean, friendly, and good prices. I love this place in the fall.

I was up in the Midcoast area for a few days and Beth's was recommended. I'm glad I stopped by! It's a good-sized market with fresh local produce, eggs, some yogurts and cheeses, baked goods, locally cured bacon, honeys and jams, even lobster and oysters. The selection overall isn't as varied as you'll find at a city farmers market with multiple vendors, but everything is very fresh and I was happy with my haul. Looks like it is a well-known local stop for things like pumpkins and plants--some gorgeous colors in the displays outside all ready for fall! Definitely worth a stop if you're nearby, and it's a lovely drive on country roads as a bonus.

Beth's is in my opinion the premier farm market in the Midcoast region. An unparalleled selection of fresh farmed produce, local dairy products, local grass fed beef, chicken and pork on top of fresh live oysters and lobsters. You can't go wrong with anything Beth's has to offer. They have a dessert counter serving up some of the best strawberry shortcake there is and the staff is always friendly and attentive.

Beth's sweet corn is legendary. Sweet, fresh and crisp off the cob. The cheddar is great and the apples are crispy yummy.

The lady working here was so friendly and helpful! We decided to buy quite a few things here (4 hot sauces, 2 jars of mustard, and two jars of salsa...I think that's it). The hot sauces were all unique with different scoville scores (perfect for us hot sauce snobs). She gave us a nice discount on top of the Memorial Day sell (about a 25% discount in total). She wrapped our jars nicely and gave us a tote bag to carry it all. She was truly such a sweet person! If you find yourself in Boothbay Harbor, do stop by The Pantry.

There is a great selection of hard to find items packed into this tiny little shop. The owner/manager is a very sweet and friendly woman and often sits outside to greet passerbys. She keeps busy by knitting in between customers and even creates little complimentary catnip toys. Mention you are a cat owner to receive your free catnip gift. I was walking into the store on my visit to Boothbay earlier this week and heard a woman behind me shout over to The Pantry's owner. The woman asked if the business could be found on Yelp, and if so she said she would leave a great review. The owner, her name is Sue, was not familiar with Yelp so I gave a brief explanation and told her I would be leaving her a great review as well. This is one of those unique little places which offers useful, quality products at a great price. It is perfect for gifts or to find useful souvenirs from your vacation to Maine. Be sure and look for the little red building on your walk through the Boothbay Harbor area.
