Lots of fresh produce, a good selection of dry goods, works from local artists and crafters, and elevated breakfast choices (albeit more limited). It felt like a beloved community place and farm. I ordered the veggie panini, and my partner got a bagel with cream cheese. It was fairly busy, and it took a while to get our food. I know they put a lot of effort and care into making their food, and perhaps they were short-staffed that day, but it did feel a bit long. They have a ton of seating (inside and outside) so there were plenty of places to wait comfortably. The groceries were on the pricier side so we ended up not getting anything else, but I respect that they're paying their people a living wage.

We were visiting Jefferson Maine for the week and wanted to take the kids blueberry picking-first time for them, nostalgia moment for us. It was wonderful! The owners were so nice and helpful. When you are done picking, they have a little store with lots of blueberry products, including homemade pies, whoopie pies (a Maine tradition) and ice cream in case you got hungry while picking blueberries. (In which case, you must be doing it wrong and forgetting to taste test the blueberries!) if you don't have time to pick your own, they also have lots of freshly picked ready to go in their fridge for you to grab and go! I highly recommend them!

We waited at the food counter but no one paid attention. They were talking and laughing with each other, oblivious. The woman from the register had to come over and take our order. In between all of this, the register lady is running back and forth from their area to hers while they weren't worried about anything. This place is set up to be a real money maker. The food was good once we got it. The location is great. But it's a completely inefficient operation.
