He was upfront on what would be expected of me and what he would do weekly/yearly. I had no idea what a pool needed. He explained that the pump needs to be run at least 6 hours a day to circulate the water. He would come weekly to test the water, clean the pool and check the small filter (and probably other things I forgot about). Yearly, he puts conditioner in (he explained what it does but I can't remember). A couple months ago, my pool started to turn slightly green. He put some other chemicals in to help it. But it didn't work. So he checked my big filter and told me it needed a cleaning . He and another guy came that weekend and cleaned it. After he was done, he texted and explained everything he did to the filter and pool and what I needed to do to make sure the water clears up. By the next day, the pool started to clear up. Within a couple days, it was back to normal. He's very responsive and helpful. He comes when I'm at work so I usually text him if I need anything or have questions. He speaks English but is also fluent in Korean. Totally hire this guy/company if you need a pool guy!

I just cancelled my service with this company. I had my pool completely redone a year ago with a…read morenew pump, filter and I added a pool vacuum. Just 6 months after the pool was done and we had been using it, the pool started to turn green. I sent messages to the owner and he said he would send someone out and it would look a little better for a week and then start turning green again. I continued to being up my concerns and he said he needed to clean the filter. He said he would be by the next day and nothing. I text messaged him to find out if he was coming and after 5 day he had still not responded. Also,would get emails on Tuesday saying the pool was serviced but I would come home and it looked like it had never been touched. He charged me for a couple of extra services that did not do much to help. My new tile has all kinds of build up even though the service said it was brushed every week. I went back and looked at the emails I was getting and noticed that week after week it shows the exact same PH and Chlorine numbers. How is that possible? I asked him Why and he never answered me. We have used Ed's Pools and Spas for probably ten years. In looking at other reviews, nothing new…read morehas been posted in almost 3 years. At first, Ed's service as top-notch. Over the years, he brought different guys to help out. These guys came and went and some stayed for all of ten minutes. They'd sweep the net across the water for a few minutes, throw some chemicals in the water and leave. Now, present day, there would be at least one no-show each month. Our pool has algae growing in it. Our water is so off with chemicals that we're going to have to drain our pool. This is not the opinion of one other person, but three! If we could find a way to charge him for the water we're going to have to pay for, we would! It's too bad. Ed was good at one time. We don't know what happened to that level of service.
