VERY VERY EXPENSIVE. save your money and go to MOM's in Rockville. It's cheaper than the Co-ops and Whole Foods

Ask the Community - Bethesda Co-op

I haven't been there in many years. Do they serve coffee? Or is any coffee place near anglers inn open ~9 am on weekend?

They don't serve coffee, but the Market in the Boulevard in the same shopping center does and should be open.

My family and I are willing to spend a little more on healthier food, and Naked Lunch is one of our…read morego-to spots. For organic food, the prices are quite good and there's a good amount of variety. I'm much more of a meat eater, so a completely vegetarian menu normally wouldn't be my first choice, but I genuinely enjoy the food here. The burgers are actually my personal favorite, especially when they have the mushroom "bacon." I'm not usually big on meat substitutes, but the way they prepare it works really well and tastes great in its own way. The burgers aren't quite as good of a value portion-wise as the bowls, though. The salad bowls are more filling for the price, and you can customize them with whatever you want. They also regularly have limited-time items like tacos, along with juices, muffins, and other options, so there's usually something different to try. There's seating inside along the counter, but my family usually prefers grabbing one of the tables outside when the weather is nice. Overall, really good healthy food, solid value, and plenty of options even for someone who normally prefers meat. The burgers are still my favorite, but the bowls are probably the best bang for your buck. I recommend!

Growing up I was a Safeway customer. It's where my parents shopped and I continued. Safeway lost my…read moretrust mainly due to customer service or shall I say the lack of. I went into Giant last year. I was having problems with my Giant rewards account and logging in, I called support for help and spoke to a local person. Giant support is still in MD and PA. That impressed me. I had been shopping a lot at Lidl and when I was walking around Giant o saw many of the prices were compatible. I also love how Giant had many local food products including Ben's Chili, Ledos pizza and local bakery items. It's nice walking into a grocery store that anywhere you turn you see a Giant employee and they are always friendly and happy to help. Giant is my go to grocery store now and it has been for the the past year and don't know why but I get excited when I pull up to my local Giant.

Been shopping at Giant for over 20+ years. Went in to get prescription filled. Got that filled and…read morethen picked out 3 items, 2 candies and a popcorn to pay for in the customer service line. Immediately Maila the customer service rep walked directly over to me without saying anything and just stood behind me and watch the entire transaction without saying anything. When it was clear that Maila was not standing over any other customers it was obvious profiling. Took out my Credit Card to show the customer service rep to ask if she sees the credit card, and sees it going into the machine. While Maila was standing there, I said we can go to your manager and she said my manager told me to walk over to you. Got it. Then after paying for the items and walking out of the Self Service checkout, the person next to me had an issue and Maila said "Oh how can I help?" So to recap, I get profiled and assumed to not be able to pay for 2 candies and a popcorn, and the woman next to me receives customer service once Maila watches me complete my entire transaction. Fire Maila tomorrow or if she was not lying and what she said about the manager the manager was true who made this decision to profile take away their job. There is no room for this type of harassment when buying candy and popcorn at Giant after already going through the pharmacy line to then be accosted and laughed at while trying to buy movie night items for my family.
