I called on my way there to make sure they had it and received great customer service over the phone. When I arrived, the person at the register showed me exactly where to find the product. They have a huge variety of vitamins, teas, soaps, skincare items... I definitely recommend this place. Got over charged at that store a while back. Questioned the clerk about it. She gave some lame excuse. Did a half ass attempt of resolving the issue. I went online and posted my receipt along with items purchased. What bought didn't match what I paid. Didn't get a response from mgt. Another business, Natural Health Center 2 is now my health store go to. They are also in District Heights. Smaller store however they sell similar products. read more

Her attitude is the reason I put the product back and will go somewhere else. She saved me 50 plus dollars because of her attitude. I googled the same product & found it cheaper somewhere else. This store is the only one of its kind in this area. They usually have many of the items I use (supplements, detox aides, teas, natural beauty and body products, organic and natural foods, vegan/vegetarian/gluten free/dairy free products, books, a vast essential oil collection, all natural health aides, etc). However, they are expensive and often have poor customer service. Mr. Brown and his wife are lovely people and make you feel welcomed. There is also another gentleman who is very helpful and pleasant but that is where the friendly stops. Other employees look annoyed when being asked questions and frequently have bad attitudes. I continue to go there because its 10-15 minutes from my house and I don't always feel like driving to Whole Foods in Alexandria. Basically, it's convenient and gets the job done even though I may spend a little extra. read more

I travel here from DC, because the owner of the store used to be my next door neighbor and I played with their kids growing up. Brown's provides awesome service, and have just about every herb, powder, tea, etc imaginable. And,they're very knowledgeable about the products and offer great remedies/product for your ailments.
