I got dragged back to this hell home by a friend who wanted to get a deal. We sat in line for 20 minutes for this "deal" and when we got to the car she realized they didn't even apply the coupon, so now she's back inside. I've been waiting 15 minutes in the car so far so this is already at 35 minutes worth of waiting to get a "deal." If your time is worth nothing, you can get a deal.

Great value hands down! Fresh produce! Tons of organic options to choose from. Store was very clean. Very well stocked and employees smiled and were friendly as they replenished shelves, worked the register and interacted with customers. I love to get salmon, fresh veggies, red apples, tomatoes on a vine, organic pasta and frozen mussels from this place.

Note to self - Whenever you get a direct mail advertisement saying that the first 100 guests at a 9:00 AM opening will receive a golden ticket for a chance to win great prizes, don't show up at 8:53 AM expecting to be among the first 100. I overheard that the first person arrived at 6:45 with a lawn chair. I also overheard that staff was handing out numbers around 7:30, meaning people could grab numbers, come back later, and still get the prize, which I was told was a $10 coupon. I did, however, receive a free Aldi Eco-Bag. When I lived in a suburb of Baltimore, I used to buy milk at Aldi all the time for just $1.99. The location at Golden Ring did increase the price on milk by a few cents, but it was still cheaper than what Costco was selling it for. Now that I am in Gaithersburg, the local Costco is selling milk cheaper than this Aldi. The only brand name product I saw today was Kellogg's Pop Tarts. There may have been others, but I did not see any today (it was the grand opening). There were samples of string cheese and apple juice in the aisles. This is a great place to purchase produce and essentials. The sales ad said that Wednesday was a special buy day for fresh meat. The ad also said that if for any reason you are not satisfied, they will replace the product AND refund your money. Welcome to Gaithersburg, Aldi!

First of all I shop at Aldi a few times a week for myself and my elderly parent. I frequent the Gaithersburg, Germantown and Rockville locations. These location have really taken a dive over the last year and it's not because of COVID. From cleanliness, date checks to knowledgeable friendly employees. Not sure if it's local management like a district manager or coming from the top but as an employer they always strive for efficiency which I understand but at what cost? If you don't allow employees time to do check dates, execute cleaning duties or even greet customers. Recently I found a few units of expired product but in the past I found entire cases of expired product. It's just really disappointing to see Aldi stores like this.

Great food at great prices! I love the assortment of Organic fruits, vegetables, snacks, and meat at Aldi. Even if you don't have a quarter to borrow a cart, but have bags, the cashier will let you borrow his/her cart to pack up groceries in and return. Parking is also ample at this location and the staff seems friendly enough. My cashier even bagged my groceries for me while I paid (granted it was just a handful of items).

Cheap and fast. Items are good quality for the most part (there are some things that are questionable but you learn to avoid those)

There are only 2 register lines open and both lines are as long as an aisle with 20 people in each!

Quality of food is equal if not better and less expensive than what you'd find at a Giant, Shoppers, Target, etc.

This is more my speed than Whole Foods or Trader Joe's. I'm a glam country girl and will forever be. Flowers, plants, fruit, vegetables, farm fresh meats, dairy, bakery items, etc, etc, etc. High quality, always fresh. Store is always clean. They just did an expansion of the store making more space for product placement & customers to roam. I love the open market feel. Staff...always friendly professional. I could have a bad day and coming here instantly cheers me up. Prices... health costs money but copays cost more. You choose. Parking... decent. The turnover is quick and I've never had to wait to park. People are usually in & out. Issues... the only herbs they sell is cilantro. I'm ok with that (mostly). But I really wish they had mint & basil. They are closed during winter. Makes sense but... Those are the longest 4 months for me.

I love getting my seasonal produce from there because it is so fresh and flavorful. They also have locally sourced baked goods, jams, spices, and candies. The plant selection is also unreal. They have about 8 greenhouses all filled with different plants. Feels like walking through a local garden rather than a nursery. A plus is also that they usually have a food truck on the weekends. The day I went was Mikes Gelato.

I still decided to go and buy some from the farm stand and to see if they at least still had some of my favorite products. They did I was happy to grab some up. They have Taharka Bros ice cream and some flavors I had never tried before so I grabbed a couple, don't judge. Not stating if they made it home or not but why would anyone let perfectly good ice cream go to waste on a hot ride home. Come on now, make it make sense lol. If I'm back in the area during harvest time, I'll definitely go back to grab up some fresh produce.

I've also never picked either fruit before, so I was very excited. The farm is huge, with many different sites. We stopped by the farm market first to look at various produce. There were so many fresh fruits and vegetables (if you are lazy and don't want to pick any, you can buy it here). We were very enticed by the strawberry milk (which sadly, I didn't end up buying). I did buy a bag of dry ingredients to make corn chowder for 14.99, which I enjoyed four meals of! First, we went to pick blackberries. I got one of the cartons for 9.99 (there's also a smaller one for 6.99) because I got greedy and wanted lots of blackberries. Unfortunately, it took me at least an hour to fill up my carton with the blackberries that looked ripe since most of the ones we saw looked more like raspberries (bright red, incredibly tart, and most definitely not ready to be picked). Very occasionally, I'd find a really fat and juicy blackberry, which immediately got plucked off the tree and straight into my carton. I tried some of them after picking and a lot of them were pretty sour even though they were ripe. I was quite sad that I labored in vain. Overall, it was a very hot day and with the scarce amount of ripe blackberries, I should have just bought them at the farm market. Finally, one of my friends and I went to pick peaches while the rest of them went to stare at sunflowers. We were done in less than 15 minutes since we picked ~30 for the 19.99 box (the cheapest option). The peaches were great, 2-3 days after picking. I've been enjoying them with other friends so far. If there's anything I'd recommend picking from Larriland, it's the peaches. Fun time at the farm, the prices are a bit steep for picking, and I'm still kind of sad about the lack of sweet blackberries.
