The Aldi off Quince Orchard has good prices in these difficukt times. Careful, some fruit is over ripe in the plastic containers. The homegoods isle is very messy. The staffers are nice. We sat in line for 20 minutes for this "deal" and when we got to the car she realized they didn't even apply the coupon, so now she's back inside. Cheap and fast. Items are good quality for the most part (there are some things that are questionable but you learn to avoid those)

This is one of my favorite Aldi, simply because it is near HomeGoods and Dunkin. Although the parking lot is designed bad. Once again it's best to park far, and park facing out, as cars fly through the lot like Batman. You'll need a quarter for the shopping cart, but you'll get it back when you return it. I wish more places did this. The store is always clean and organized. They definitely have a better selection of items here and seem to be well stocked than other locations. They have a good selection of cheeses and salamis to make a cool charcuterie board. Although they carry Queso Fresco, it's quite small. Their deli meats is very limited just the basics, no roast beef or pastrami unless I'm blind and I missed it. They are very limited in carrying items as you wouid see in a major grocery chain. Here's a Shelly tip, remember when Chikfila carried their chicken salad Sammy on a wheat bread? They have something similar. Try their chicken salad with Cranberrys on a flour tortilla with a sprinkle of Cinnamon. Mannnn!! Avoid weekends and coming here after 4pm on a weekend. Bring your own bags unless you wanna pay for bags. Staff here are nice and efficient. read more

Very well stocked and employees smiled and were friendly as they replenished shelves, worked the register and interacted with customers. Love going to this Aldis!!! I'm a regular here! Everything is a good price and I love their salad kits and yogurt! They have a seasonal pumpkin pie and maple Greek yogurt! Omg! Soooooo good and it's like 0.75 a pop! I always get my thin pork chops here too! They are cut good and clean when I open the packaging. Returns? Are a breeze! They are pretty good about their return policy as long as you have a receipt. Customer service was excellent!!! All the cashiers are so friendly! There's nothing bad I can say about this place except if you buy produce products it can somewhat go bad within the week so only buy what you will eat. read more

I was at Aldi shopping this afternoon and the check out line was to the back of the store. I ask a person working there about opening up more checkout and he got an attitude with me . As a customer I do not appreciate any of your associates treating me like this all I did was request to open more checkout. I waited in line paid and then asked to speak to the store manager it turns out to be the same person I asked in the first place his name is Matthew and he was the one that disrespected me. If your managers are like that what kind of customer service do you have . I feel that Matthew does not like his job and took it out on me the customer , hence my review on this store in Gaithersburg MD 20877. Absolutely awful customer service. Before I left the store I told the manager to get another job since he has no customer service or manners and no respect for his customers. The building is usually quite clean. They may be understaffed because they don't always have many lines open but that's not my issue. My issue is that those who work the registers are always very pushy and a fair bit rude. During the time of this review just beforehand I was trying to purchase a few things and an employee kept being pushy and saying "insert your card" over and over again like I'm not listening or how I don't understand there is a large line behind me. Note to self - Whenever you get a direct mail advertisement saying that the first 100 guests at a 9:00 AM opening will receive a golden ticket for a chance to win great prizes, don't show up at 8:53 AM expecting to be among the first 100. I overheard that the first person arrived at 6:45 with a lawn chair. I also overheard that staff was handing out numbers around 7:30, meaning people could grab numbers, come back later, and still get the prize, which I was told was a $10 coupon. I did, however, receive a free Aldi Eco-Bag. When I lived in a suburb of Baltimore, I used to buy milk at Aldi all the time for just $1.99. The location at Golden Ring did increase the price on milk by a few cents, but it was still cheaper than what Costco was selling it for. Now that I am in Gaithersburg, the local Costco is selling milk cheaper than this Aldi. The only brand name product I saw today was Kellogg's Pop Tarts. There may have been others, but I did not see any today (it was the grand opening). There were samples of string cheese and apple juice in the aisles. This is a great place to purchase produce and essentials. The sales ad said that Wednesday was a special buy day for fresh meat. Today Saturday 2/24/24, I was shopping at Aldi's in Gaithersburg, the cashier Devin , worst cashier in the store, mistreats every item we buy, throwing them in the shopping cart, even a bag of avocados got stuck in between the basket in the shopping cart because he threw it extremely hard and he rudely pull it out. I asked him to do it carefully and he ignored my request. What I can think is that he is not happy working there. read more

First of all I shop at Aldi a few times a week for myself and my elderly parent. I frequent the Gaithersburg, Germantown and Rockville locations. These location have really taken a dive over the last year and it's not because of COVID. From cleanliness, date checks to knowledgeable friendly employees. Not sure if it's local management like a district manager or coming from the top but as an employer they always strive for efficiency which I understand but at what cost? If you don't allow employees time to do check dates, execute cleaning duties or even greet customers. Recently I found a few units of expired product but in the past I found entire cases of expired product. It's just really disappointing to see Aldi stores like this. read more

This Aldi is located in a busy shopping area next to Home Goods, an LA fitness, among many other things. The parking is a hassle sometimes depending on what time you visit. I really like Aldi as a company, but typically go to this location based on convenience alone. The cashiers aren't the friendliest, but I attribute that to the fast pace in which they have to do their work. All and all this is one of my grocers if choice. Great food at great prices! I love the assortment of Organic fruits, vegetables, snacks, and meat at Aldi. Even if you don't have a quarter to borrow a cart, but have bags, the cashier will let you borrow his/her cart to pack up groceries in and return. Parking is also ample at this location and the staff seems friendly enough. My cashier even bagged my groceries for me while I paid (granted it was just a handful of items). read more

As a 15 plus years customer I had the most embarrassing and most horrible customer experience ever. And will probably never go to this location or recommend anyone to this store ever again. Store#46 Manager: Kenny Cashier: Shiela Date: 8/8/21 Time: 8:07pm Me and my family went to get some groceries. Upon waiting a while in line to checkout I noticed the cashiers conveyor belt was extremely dirty. Then the cashier tells us to go to the other cashier that might be open so we then take our groceries over to the next cashier then she calls us back to return to her again so we did. When she finishes ringing us up and about to pay, I had to stop her cause she was about to put a box with 4 gallons of water on top of my food. I then grab the 4 gallons of water in the box and put it under the cart instead. I pay then she yanks my cart out of the way forcibly until I pulled it back and ask If I may please finish paying for my groceries first. She was belligerent and rude and said "I was just trying to place the empty cart here" I said I understand but your doing it in a ill manner and rude way unlike all my previous experieneces when I go to any Aldi. She gets mad. Now Im swiping my card and its not processing my payment and she is smiling while Im struggling to complete my purchase and just standing there. I ask "Whats is going on my payment is not goin g thru? she says I dont know your card isnt working I said that impossible. She ignored me. I kept repeating swiping my card while she is there smirking and laughing indirectly. As I see her rude and obnoxous behaviour I then ask to speak to the manager. At this point I am embarrassed while the people are there staring at us like what is going on. My wife gets upset and taps me couple of times indicating she wants to leave already because its taking too long. The manager Kenny comes and advised that there is a $4.23 balance that I have to pay in cash. This is something that could of being avoided if she just would have not conceled this info from me. Instead she was giving me a hard time and wasting my time. And I said this to the manager then she got mad and starts yelling at me to the point that the manager had to calm her down. I had the most horrible experience in this Aldi location. The cashier Shiela was very rude, belligerent, and very unprofesional. I hope that she gets retrained so that this may never happen to any future customer again. p.s and Shiela inaccurately made three mistakes on my receipt she overcharged me by ringing up two of the same items twice (see pics below and of receipt) read more

OMG, why didn't anyone tell me about Aldi sooner!? I was doing some Thanksgiving shopping at the local Target and Walmart, when I decided to just pop in and see what it was like. I had never been into an Aldi location and I was pleasantly surprised. Bacon was $3.50. Gallons of milk, $1.99. Cream cheese, $.89, Sausage $.1.49. Even the knock off ranch "doritos" were delicious. I walked out with a pack of bacon, a bag of ranch tortilla chips, a bag of cheese curls, two rolls of pork sausage, a pound of shredded cheddar cheese, a block of colby cheese, a block of colby jack cheese, and two blocks of cream cheese for $17. I didn't need anything special, so this was an excellent spot to just pick up some basics. One downside is that they don't accept credit cards, but as long as you have cash or a debit card you're good to go. read more

Worst customer service. I'm 6 months pregnant and after I packed my groceries in my bags I put them in the cart to take to my car. The cashier stops me to tell me she needed my cart. Didn't care that I was pregnant and had to haul all my heavy groceries out to my car by hand. Can't say I will come back if they aren't compassionate about pregnant clients who shouldn't be lifting heavy items anyways. Thumbs down on that. read more

A very disorganized grocery store. Items are often out of stock or they haven't finished shelving the items during business hours. They seem to be afraid of people stealing their shopping carts, so the carts require a quarter deposit to unlock. I don't always carry change, so I'm unable to use their carts. They don't provide baskets either, so I have to hunt down for a used cardboard box in their store to carry my items as I shop. Checkout is super slow because they aren't willing to hire more cashiers or install self-checkout systems like the one in Germantown. I rely on the sparse public transportation in this area, and their slowness in checking out has caused me to miss the bus many times, which means at least another 20 min wait. During the winter, you don't want to be standing at the bus stop for 20 min at below freezing temperatures. My strategy is to look up the live arrival times and take shelter in the Home Goods store next door until the bus arrives. read more

Any fan of Trader Joe's will probably be a fan of Aldi since they are a sister companies! Great prices and a variety of food. Watch out for their sales because they have really good deals! I love trying out all their snacks and chocolates. Too bad some of their items are seasonal so if you get it once, they may not have it in stock the next time you go. Additionally, the store layout sometimes changes which is frustrating. Also the staff are usually pretty friendly! They are very fast when checking/ringing up your items and I love how efficient it is! Don't sweat the long lines because it goes quickly. I would try to stay clear of the peak hours since the store is a little small and gets cramped. Also this location is right next to other big stores and during peak hours, it can be rough to find parking! read more

If I go give no stars I would but the associate I can't recall his name but he's an older, bald African American gentleman who threw my groceries in the cart and didn't hand me my receipt. He was making very unprofessional and sarcastic comments and he treated me very different than he treated the Caucasian customers. His treatment was deplorable. He needs to be retrained in customer service or if he was having a rough day he should not have been there working tonight. The treatment was disgusting and I have worked in the customer service field for many years and I would have never treated my customers the way this associate treated me. Want to save money? Go to Aldi! This location is always fully stocked and my favorite go-to for my lunch essentials. I recently learned that Aldi is a sister company of Trader Joe's, no wonder I'm obsessed with both. The store is very organized and I'm usually in and out in minutes. Not only is it affordable but they also have unique products that other stores do not have. They sell European products such as chocolates, cookies, etc. Knoppers (cream filled hazelnut wafer sandwich originated in Germany) is a MUST get here, you're welcome nutella lovers. They also sell gift baskets so if you need any last minute Christmas goodies they have it! Not a big fan of the location because it gets super congested but saving money is worth it! read more

If Only zero star was an option here. I shopped here on Sunday sept 22 at about 1 pm. I intended to just get a couple of things but ended up getting more. I have a bag and used one of the boxes laying around to get to the check out. My groceries were scanned and placed in the cart. The cashier named Malesha - was already checking out the next customer when she busted a soda can and - it sprayed everywhere. It has soaked my groceries. I couldn't get my groceries fast enough out of the cart as I was trying to dry them. She made a rude/ nasty remark that I need to get my stuff out as the cart does not belong to me. I get it - but really ? After you just soaked my groceries and I have to dry them ? This cashier has no kind bone in her body. I requested to speak with the manager Deedee - who was as cold and unsympathetic as rock re: my experience. I am not expecting a first class treatment ... just be treated like a person who just spent money in your store ! Came across this store while exploring the area. It's a relatively small store with a simple layout. They offer an aisle dedicated to organic food (which is always a plus in my book!). The store reminds me of Costco -- except it's much smaller with fantastic prices. I bought 2 bags of dried fruits, a case of apple-banana sauce, a bag of chips, and a bag of apples and paid a total of $12. Win. read more
