I recently moved to the area and needed a suit dry cleaned for a wedding. After reading past reviews, I was a bit hesitant. Most of those reviews were from two years ago or longer, so I figured I'd roll the dice since proximity is a big deciding factor for me. I was not disappointed at all. The counter attendant was pleasant, polite, and answered all my questions. The turn around time for picking my items up was quicker than I had imagined. I dropped off on Monday mid morning and received a text Wednesday mid morning that my items were ready! That's a LOT faster than I'm used to back in Orlando. Only qualm I had was the nearly $30 price tag for a suit jacket and suit pants. I likened this to inflation and unfamiliarity with a new city. So take it for what it's worth to you. All this to say. I want to love this cleaners because it is a convenient location for me. However, after dropping off three items on different occasions two of the three have come back ruined. Two of the times I was given a pick up date and time and upon going to retrieve my items, they were not ready. One of the items took an additional three days and then when I received the item, they turned my white dress pink. Another item has some silk, and they have completely stained the silk and made it look worse than when I brought it in. I DO NOT recommend. Not to mention it is very pricey. read more

I've been going to this place now for about 18 months now. They have made some great changes to what used to be the norm. Their staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The new owner is a nice man. My clothes come out clean and on time. I had an issue with one of my shirts with a stain and they rewashed it for free. Great place. Highly recommend. read more

This is my favorite Cleaners. Been using them for years. The owners are very kind and appreciative of our business. Had a few small issues over the years and they handle them quickly with no fuss! The QUALITY is top notch and the clothes are always done ON TIME! They also have three convenient locations and I've used them all. The best thing .... the VALUE for the money I spend! The best cleaners I've found in Albuquerque. They've never messed up a single thing on any of my orders after years of going there. They turn every order around in a day, max - if you bring it there early enough they even do it same day! They're open on Saturday too which is great when I don't have time to stop by before or after work. The staff is always polite and many of them are very friendly. I always love coming to this place I just drop off my clothes and pants and then leave with no problems. When I come back to pick them up my order is perfect no problems. If I had to pick my hair over this I would pick my clothes because it truly is a luxury that I just can't live without. read more

I have to downgrade my review of this place because unfortunately, they just no longer seem to care. I asked them to stop starching my shirts because even the LIGHT starch was making my clothes feel like cardboard boxes. So what did they do? They UPPED the starch to Medium making my clothes unwearable. I'm moving on and a word of caution - don't even SAY the word starch to these folks because that will be all it takes to make your clothing into cardboard. read more

Been here a couple of times and so not happy with them. This last time I went (which by the way IS my last time) they did not do a good job and when I asked them to redo they said no. Also I was given a price when I brought it in and then when I picked it up, it was $2 more. I said they should honor the price I was given and again they said no. If you like to be overcharged for your laundry then this is your place. Even if you clearly ask for an item to be laundered, Bestway Cleaners charges the much higher dry cleaning rates if the item isn't cotton. Of course they don't disclose the overcharge policy when the customer asks for the laundry service. The disinterest of the business in making things right with their customers is astounding. So feel free to use Bestway Cleaners if you have money to burn as they will overcharge you. read more

We have given them multiple opportunities but are now done. They ruined one of my Michael Kors blouses (broke the decorative chain), lost one of my husband's shirts, and they dry cleaned a shirt that should have been laundered and now that too is ruined. We have been using these guys for years. Over time, the quality and the customer service has plummeted. The last time I dropped dry cleaning off, the very unpleasant woman who greeted me rudely told me that I was bringing too much dry cleaning in. This isn't the first time this is happened. Apparently bringing them business is frustrating to them? Additionally, they constantly lose items and I now have six shirts that are missing at least one button. I've recently moved, and my old dry cleaners is now out of my way. I chose this outfit because it's on my way home from work and close to Smith's and my favorite Chinese restaurant. I have been there exactly four times, dealt with three different employees, (spent over $200) and after picking up my clothes today, i won't be back. Simply put, the customer service is beyond appalling. These are the rudest people i have ever dealt with in a business setting. I treat everyone with kindness and respect (basically like i want/expect to be treated). This does not work with these people. They bark requests like they're the customer and when you try to answer them, they interrupt, grab the clothes from you and basically walk away. The only behavior that seems to work is being as rude and sharp as they are. They back down a little. As head of HR at a Santa Fe company, i can tell you that if one of my employees ever treated clients like that, i'd fire them immediately. The clothes are cleaned well, but i'm just not going to put up with the verbal abuse any longer. I guess i get to make the schlep back to my old dry cleaners. A bit more expensive, but it's family owned and they're careful with my clothes besides being incredibly nice people. read more

I work in Law Enforcement and regularly take my uniform pants to Bestway Cleaners. The last time I picked up my pants, I noticed a discoloration and it appeared to be some sort of hot iron or press mark. The workers did not know what to do when I brought this to their attention. They said the owner would call me. He called and said "you must have ruined your pants" because they have been doing this for 30 years and it looks as if I "rubbed" it or something. I was floored he would blame me, as if I was trying to scam his business. He didn't make any attempt to make it better or even apologize for ruining my pants. Everyone on here complains about the customer service - get over it. I have never been to a dry cleaners in Albuquerque that has had notable customer service and, frankly, this is probably because the people manning the counter are making less in a day than some of the garments that are brought in are worth. Also, if you take a second to be kind to the person behind the counter then they typically drop the attitude - shocking! What matters is their ability to get clothes clean and do so promptly. These guys are pretty out of my way, so I tried another "higher quality" cleaners (per yelp reviews) closer to me. At bestway I can drop my clothes off in the morning and they are ready by the end of the day. At the "better" cleaners they took four days to turn around the same garments and it cost extra to "rush" the cleaning. Also, the "better" cleaners cost almost twice as much even though my clothes were nowhere near twice as clean. In sum - I left these guys for greener pastures and soon realize what a diamond in the rough they are. If you want your clothes dry-cleaned quickly, and at a reasonable cost, I highly recommend bestway. read more

I have been patronizing this Cleaners since our arrival back to Albuquerque, and the service has been adequate. About two + months ago, I dropped off my cleaning and one of the articles of clothing was a pair of black pants. When I picked up my cleaning, and started to pack for a trip, I notice the black pants are now blue. The pants were the same brand & size, but a different color. When I returned home from my trip, I brought my cleaning in to Bestway, along with the blue pants and notified them of the situation. I gave them the blue slacks, as well as other clothing and asked if they would find my black slacks, as well as fold my shirts for my next trip. When my wife brought home the cleaning, none of the shirts had been folded, and the blue slacks were back! Upon my next return (Glutton for Punishment) I mentioned the shirts not folded, and the Blue Slacks, and this time I was told a Manager would contact me, which NEVER happened. Next, my wife followed up, and she was able to get a call back from a manager "Lisa" who proceeded to state that they called us a few times, and WE did not return the call. That was incorrect, and our answering machine did not have a message. Next, they call today, and I was on another call, so it went to VM, but NO message was left. I immediately returned the call, and was left on hold for 10 MINUTES, before I hung up and called back. Kathy answered my call back and proceeded to tell me that Lisa was not in while I was on hold for 10 minutes, and the woman that put me on hold had left the building, while I was on hold. ARE YOU KIDDING ME??? I am done with Bestawy, and will write off the slacks as lesson learned. DO NOT USE BESTWAY CLEANERS!!!!! read more

Customer service is not dead! Tim and Lisa at Bestway Cleaners reimbursed me for a shirt that they had lost on a day that they had a machine break down. After a few days of unsuccessfully trying to track down my shirt they offered to reimburse me for a new one. My husband took a pair of slacks and a black sweater to be dry cleaned. After he had picked up the laundry the next week my black sweater had been changed to another brand and style of sweater. Upon his return to the dry cleaner with the wrong sweater he was informed that someone would call regarding the mix up. Never received a call. He went back to the dry cleaners again, once again he was told someone would call regarding the sweater. It's been over three weeks. WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN!!!! read more
