He answered all of our questions and explained everything very thoroughly. We also needed to have our siding replaced and Wesley said he was happy to work with any siding contractor we chose. He offered to demo the deck and install new flashing and ledger boards before the siding was replaced, then come back and install the new deck after the siding was done. Wesley said they would get a permit and inspection. While the other deck contractors either took several days to send a quote or ghosted us, Wesley sent a very detailed and competitive quote with better/best options hours after meeting with us, and we hired him. We met Kym at the showroom in Kennesaw to look at all of the decking and railing options and were very impressed with everything. We decided to go with the Trex Transcend Lineage Jasper and Trex Signature Black aluminum railing. Kenneth came out to take measurements and followed up with awesome renderings showing the deck from five different angles. Eddie, Thomas, and Carlos demoed the old deck and installed new flashing and ledger boards in one day. After the siding contractor replaced the siding, Eddie returned with Israel and Antonio to build the new deck. They finished the deck in seven days and it looks amazing, a night and day difference from the old deck. Our favorite details include the post brackets that secure the posts to the concrete while keeping them off the ground and away from water, the switchback stairs, each decking board is one continuous piece (no butt joints), color matched screws, and the cocktail rail. The inspector said "they did a nice job for you." We were very impressed with the entire Brawner team, love our new deck, and give them our highest recommendation.

Disaster of a company. Couldn't recommend them to do anything other than waste your money and time…read more Started a project in January after permitting issues (not their fault). Finished the deck fairly quickly. Communication was ok to start. Quality was fine. Not worth the price. For example had a door put on the bottom of the deck for storage. Two supervisors looked at it and said nothing. I had to call it out as unacceptable quality then they fixed it. The outdoor kitchen was the problem. They ordered the wrong set of cabinets to start. Not even the correct amount they charged us for. So we had to make a change to the design. Shame on both sides we didn't do it in writing. Lesson learned. 3 month lead time for their supplier so we even offered to go down in quality and choose a different option based on the speed. That's fine we just wanted it done. Those cabinets arrived the end of August. It's almost the end of September and we still don't have resolution. Their management team makes you feel like you are wrong for questions or asking for updates. To the point where we had to escalate two levels to the head of operations. They don't respond to text or calls. No one will give you an update unless you ask. Nothing is ever their fault. Their plumber cut our water line when installing natural gas. I had ask for updates on the day of when they were going to fix it. Just had to shut the water off to our house and then hound the PM for updates on the time line. Still charged us full price for that install which was a nice touch. Supplier issues with the cabinet. Then transportation. Then we couldn't get an install date from the counter top company. Then when they did install the cuts were wrong (which I had to point out). They don't even come to check. The granite company did this wrong. So either you have the worst grouping of sub contractors or maybe at some point the problem is the company you work with. Not even close to worth the prices they ask. I doubt we ever get any money back and most likely never get a finished outdoor kitchen. The only reason I am writing the review is to hopefully help others and sometimes the owner will respond. Happy to have you contact me and show you the same receipts I have given your operations team.

He sent me references two days ago and said he would send a contract to me so that the job could be started next week. I spent days looking for the granite remnant needed for the job. When I texted him today (2 days after he said he would send the contract and didn't) he said he could no longer do the work because I didn't get back to him (?) and send him the money he needed for the cabinet he was picking up. He never told me an amount to send, how to send it or that he was even waiting on me!! I had narrowed the job down to this person because he seemed professional when he came to see what needed to be done. But today he texts me he has "taken another job" and can no longer help me. I would have really appreciated a phone call and for him to be honest and tell me that he thought the job was too small, which is obviously what the problem was. It is so frustrating to trust someone and get excited about work that's going to be done just to have them blame you then quit. He wanted half of the money upfront and I'm so glad I didn't give him a penny. Super disappointing and now I'm back to square one trying to find someone to do the job.

And he was VERY patient with me, working with me when I had to be out of town, and I totally trusted him to do the right thing with the smaller items, but for the larger items, he was willing to rearrange his schedule with other projects to allow for me to be here when he handled the them. (I know that wasn't easy on him!) He does almost all the work himself, and is very precise, with great attention to detail, very trustworthy and highly professional. I have referred him to a number of our neighbors - and always happy to give him a good recommendation to anyone who is interested in hearing more! Our deck is picture # 3 in his photo library, but as soon as spring comes, check back for some GREAT pictures!) He is extremely reliable, works quickly but he pays attention to detail and doesn't cut corners. You can tell by the quality of work he does he cares about the job and the people he is working for. We will definitely hire him again, I highly recommend. I didn't think to take pictures when I visited the house but hopefully I can add them later. On a personal note we haven't had great experience in the past with this sort of work. People never seem to care about the work they do and cut corners whenever they can.
