I had an incredible experience here. I came in with significant right shoulder pain and overall tension, and May, the owner, gave me one of the most thorough, knowledgeable treatments I've ever had. She is warm, pleasant, patient, and genuinely cares about the people she treats. This is not a traditional massage. It's true reflexology and therapeutic work, and you feel it... in the best way. At times it was intense, but always purposeful, and I left feeling lighter, looser, and noticeably improved. By the next day, my shoulder pain was nearly gone. What stood out most was her intuition. She noticed things I struggle with (like digestion issues and vices) just from working different pressure points, and she took time to explain everything. Her knowledge is truly next-level. May stayed a bit late for me since I was her last appointment of the day, but never rushed a single part of the session. The level of care, detail, and expertise she gave me honestly puts many high-end spas to shame. I've paid $300+ for massages at the Westin that didn't come close to the relief and insight I got here. I want to mention that I saw a few negative tipping reviews before coming, but my experience was nothing like that. She was kind, appreciative, and professional from start to finish. I tipped generously because she earned it.. not because she asked or hinted. This was hands down the best treatment I've ever had, and I will absolutely be back. The reflexology was actually pretty good. A little rough for my liking, and I tried to communicate that to the lady doing my massage but she didn't speak English she said. I was a little confused at why she told me she didn't speak English and then never made an effort to get someone to translate (the front desk person spoke perfect English when I came in). So I just had to say "ow" a few times to get the point across. Which was also weird (I felt I was being impolite but didn't know what else to do!) What really put me off was at the end. I went to pay and tip a reasonable 15% (I usually do 15-20 depending on how I felt it went, and since it hurt much of the time I went on the low end). Well, my tip wasn't good enough apparently because she pointed to a "tip sheet" indicating the amount I'm supposed to tip (then why isn't that included in the price if it's required?) The tip listed was almost 30% of the full price I already paid for a short half hour massage (for feet and calves only!). I refused 3 times before she finally just took my money and let me go. I wouldn't return for this reason - not enough customer service and the entitlement to a high tip that wasn't really deserved in this case. read more

Strangest thing ever happened. I got her name from a friend and do I went to see her. She was amazing!! I mean no one has been able to help me with my pain. When I scheduled to go back to see her which I was planning on doing every week. She won't take my call. Come to find out from my friend I didn't tip her enough. These folks were great and to the point. Not very sociable but they get the job done. Most importantly they have amazing experience in their field which makes them very valuable. My wife has had pain in her feet for many years and this place seems to know the magic trick to relieving this pain. 3 Words..... BAD, BAD, BAD!! Just had my first massage since moving to AZ. This place was not good at all!! The therapist ( If she can call herself that) just sort of pushed and shoved my back and neck. She used ZERO technique. Complete waste of time and $$$. Decided to give this place a try and unfortunately should have gone somewhere else. My husband and I went in for one hour massages and both ladies left the room at least 5 times each to tend to other customers and whatever else. Out of the 60 mins we paid for I probably got about 35min of massage. Then after it was done they placed all our clothes on top of the sheets on us. I don't feel comfortable with people touching my clothing and undergarments, was a very weird unprofessional experience and not worth the money. Then when it came time to pay the ladies both kept insisting I leave more tip even clearing out the amount on the debit machine I put in and pointing to the tip on the sheet they wanted to me absolutely ridiculous and rude considering they weren't even in there the entire hour. I have been going to Best Reflexology since it opened after Covid. I had been there prior to Covid but took a break while the world was shut down. Maya is amazing and has really helped me physically feel better working on some of the problem areas in my body. It definitely has making a difference to me and I will continue to go regularly. I don't know what the word "relax" means and with her heIp I am learning to breathe better and get the circulation going better throughout my body. I went in for a 30 minute back massage. During the massage, the lady put suction cups all over my back and applied a lot of force. That took about 15 minutes of the time. Then when I went to pay, the price was $35. I handed her a $50 expecting change. She took it and said have a nice day. I didn't want to be rude and ask for change but that was rediculous. Then when I got home, my back had purple bruising all over from the suction cups she used. It was purple for almost 2 weeks. read more

I just walked out of this place in the first 10 minutes of my scheduled massage because my masseuse, who is the main woman running the whole facility, walked out on me 3x in the first 10 minutes of the massage! I could hear her answering the phone, walking back in, then left again to help another customer and who knows what she was doing the other time. I got dressed and she ran after me saying she was very sorry and would make up the time but I was already late and she also told me that because I was pregnant she needed more help?? May along with another girl who works there worked on me and after 2-3 massages I walked out pain free and am so thankful to them. I have been getting regular massages for 40 years. May, the owner, is by far the best I have ever received. I have been going weekly since early May. Thanks to her consistent work on my feet and ankles, my circulation has improved and I can stand for several hours (cutting fabric for quilts) without pain or discomfort. In early August, I fell in my home. I didn't break anything but did injury my left shoulder and knee. The work she did on my shoulder not only help the recent injury but this is the first time in 20 years I am without pain in the left shoulder. We are still working on the knee but it is considerably better than it was. While not everyone will experience the same results, I am very happy with how I feel and the work May has done. I have had 3 different services here. They used to post the tip chart but now that's gone but don't fear-the tech was EXTREMELY pushy about the tip amount! Seriously, I don't have a problem w/ this place normally but I paid $110 w/ my service so to me 20% was fine to me and I even rounded up to $25. She counted and recounted my top and waved me on to give another $5 & even gestured for $5! My massage was short by 15 mins-That's 1st. 2nd-she never even said thank you for the $25! 3rd-she never asked during my "2" hr meridian massage if I was ok w/ the pressure and 4th-she wasn't even gentle when placing my legs and arms where she wanted them! I have been returning to Best Reflexology every time my doctor and I are challenged with ailments, for the past three years. I was hoping to have the hand reflexology & she used her feet to work on my lumbar area & I prefer the old chair reflexology where I use to go on Dysart & Indian School Road - This is nothing like that. I am disappointed as I do know what to expect. She should had explained to me before undressing that her technique was using her FEET on my Lumbar & Back of my Legs & Arms - I prefer the technician to use their hands not there whole body weight on my 96 pound body. I work out everyday & need a good technician & I will keep looking or continue to go to Arrowhead Mall & have them work on me. I walked in here and May was just getting done with an appointment and got me right in. I have a lot of pain and stiffness and May came at it from a lot of different angles. She used hot rocks, Gua sha (look it up) which is great for breaking up the adhesions under the skin and between muscles and a few other techniques that you don't get with your typical massage but they are very effective. I woke up today and I am pain free! I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for pain relief and a healthier lifestyle. May is amazing and is a gifted diagnostician. I have had many massages, including deep tissue over the years and in different states and this treatment was by far the best. I purchased the 90 min. full body including face treatment and my body had a serious discussion with me about layers of stress/tightness while she worked to release deep muscle tension. In her tradition, she uses her hands, arms and feet to diagnose and treat and she is spot on. The clinic is clean and very private. I walked in on a Monday, they had no customers at the time. I was told I had to schedule an appointment for another day. The next day I show up, and the lady at the counter tries to tell me to leave, because I am too big for her to massage, and she won't get deep enough. I am 6'2", and have a size 15 shoe. I am overweight, but would be large in stature nonetheless. I told her it's fine, I just wanted to be massaged. I paid for 90minutes, I got about 60minutes. She kept answering her cell phone, which was buzzing and ringing in the room non-stop. She kept leaving the room to attend to other customers, or to gossip with her coworker. She continued to call me "heavy, big, American style". I coughed once, she asked if I was sick and said ew. Said she was "working too hard on me". Then come time to pay, she asked how much I was going to tip (which is rude). I said nothing. She was like "What, look at the chart!". They have a chart showing what they think is proper tip amounts for massage services, which is even more rude. I told her about what I just wrote, that I won't be back, and that she should be lucky I'm paying full price. She continued to argue with me about "hey look at how big you are, I worked hard on you. You tip more". That is ludicrous. Can't wait for them to shut down, can't believe they're still in business with attitude like that. read more

I have been a customer of Best Reflexology for almost 10 months since their opening last October and before finding Best Reflexology, I had been a consistent customer of Massage Envy for approximately 6 years, and while my regular therapist at Massage Envy was excellent, the massage techniques were completely different, and it was clear after a few visits, the Chinese meridian method is what my body needed to improve my overall health. I had never had this method of massage, but before I went for my first visit, I researched online so I had a good idea that they would be using their feet for a portion of the massage, and that is what my body has responded to best. Everyone is different, and sometimes it takes trying different methods to find what works best for you. On a personal note, I have found May (Owner) to be very personable and takes extra time after each visit, to give me advise on what to do between each session and communicates this to Ana, the massage therapist.
