I explained when I made the appointment the house is vacant and we need a heads up for when they will be coming. It was not explained ahead of time to me that I would get a call narrowing the service window same day. They told me 10-2 and called me at 1pm to let me know they wouldn't make it. On the second appt they called me in the morning to tell me they would be there in 45 minutes, I told them my kids school drop off was that time and I would call a family member to be there and I would call back if I can't make it. 30 minutes after the scheduled time I figured I better call them and figure out what happened. They said they went to another call and now they will be there between 0900 and 1pm. Too much of hassle to wait around at a vacant house!
