So now it's time to do my nails and he starts to get loud with me like oh I can only do straight French. You'll have to wait for somebody else. Ok cool. I saw Lee and got SNS powder nail, had to have mine soaked off( he didn't play around with that had them off in like ten minutes) was very helpful all around about the shape of my nails, to what color would show up good with the chrome powder i wanted to try out! super great service all around and i like that you can book appointments online. they were not super busy at all when i came for reference (monday morning 9:45am) y'all dont pile in here then tho please go some other time overall 10/10 would recommend on yelp PS they serve wine too pps i'll post another review in about a month or so to let you know if the hype continues read more

First time here ... needed something last minute and I am new to this area of Charlotte . Major plus for being open on Sunday . They open at 12 and I walked in a little after that. Employees were still coming in at the time . There were a few people but the wait wasn't long at all. The lady was friendly who checked me in and let me know that in about 5 mins more employees will be in. There's a little girl here and she's so sweet and sociable ! I got the basic pedicure . The paint job is a little sloppy honestly. I had to get her to repaint one . I washed the paint off my skin once I got home . She barely spoke so I didn't know when she needed me to reposition unless she would tug at my foot or leg. That may be due to the language barrier, not sure . I had to wait some time to get a color change for my sns nails . I waited for a while. Finally I was told to have a seat . The young boy who was about to start me didn't even clean his station . I had to ask for him to get a new towel . The towel was clearly used with nail clippings. He did apologize and place a new towel down . He removed my previous powder color so I could get a color change . That was a $5 charge . Next I was told the lady would do my nails but then I was moved to a different chair with another young man. Apparently it was only his 3rd day in Charlotte but we had good conversation and he made me laugh . I would honestly come back for him lol . Overall it was $50 to get a color change for sns powder . Seems like a lot but idk . The shop is clean from what I could tell. It's spacious and the music was good. They have lots of colors to choose from . I can't speak for much else because I went the very basic route just so I wouldn't be disappointed right before my trip. Lol I was told they give out drinks but that didn't happen while I was there . DO NOT COME HERE!!!! my honest opinion i've been here more than once the main make that suppose to know how to do nails docent everything he's messing up. every time he's fucks up the first lady that's sitting closest to the door has to fix my nails. i've even had recommended friends to come get there's done because she does a great job, apparently they had the same issue as me TWICE!! Just moved into town shopping for a nail spot. This place is quite expensive I've never paid $90 for a fill in and pedicure. For a $50 pedicure it was not worth it. There were no hot stones and I feel like my pedicure was rushed. I had to ask them to use the file (that annoyed me). If I'm going to spend $90+ on a refill and pedicure I expect to get what I paid for. I have dip powder and I asked to use a clear polish. The tech painted over my color with a pink gel color and I was charged for gel polish also. I've never gotten charged for gel polish over dip powder before. read more

I am literally obsessed. She listened to my every needs and told her exactly how I liked my coffin ( not too skinny ) she hand painted and took her time on me. I wish I would've gotten her name. I showed her the exact picture and she looked at it once and said "got it" :) she made them look even better. Also sweet of her to offer me water and offered if anything goes wrong with the nails I can always come back and she'll fix them. New favorite place and right down the street from me. My daughter and I came to get pedicures, we were told the wait would be around 15 min. I'm the mean time I asked them to soak off my nails. He said ok. He started helping another woman with her nails and said I was rushing him. It's now been past 15 mins we were originally given. My daughter is sitting there bored so I ask her "you wanna leave?" & she said yes. The guy is all in my conversation and right away tells me to go wash my hands and pay. Never did I tell him I was leaving. I still wanted to get our pedicures. Absolutely horrible service. I don't recommend PART 2: they sent me a text to do a review and after I did it I received another text (the one below) so I called up there to ask for a refund, and the manager (turns out it's it man who was doing my nails earlier) gets on the phone and starts yelling at me and telling me it's my fault and I wash rushing him. He refused to give me a refund, I had to hang up the call because he kept yelling at me & at this point I was in tears. I had to hang up because I couldn't believe how far this had came. Um no... Don't come here girl...or guy. it's a Friday and I needed a quick/last minute pedi. So I came here.. 3.5 stars on the reviews.. not the best but I am in a hurry. Defiantly a mistake. Here we go... -Sanitation: Very questionable! I am not seeing any proper cleaning solution and none of the tools were removed from packaging. Instead I am seeing a plastic box with tools piled, some placed right on the floor. In times of COVID you would hope a business would at least offer some reassurance. Nope not here. No temperature checks at the door. Wasn't even asked to wash my hands on arrival. They are passing around these color swatches around and not wiping a thing down! They do have those plastic barriers at each station which is nice and masks are required of course. Needless to say I will be sanitizing myself and things when I leave. Just didn't feel clean here. -Customer service: Rude at best. When I walked in someone yelled at me from the back. Forcing me to walk up to the gentlemen because I wasn't going to sit there yelling with him. Other technicians seem to be more concerned with talking among themselves than doing the job. I witnessed a clinician handle personal calls, surf the web and answer a face time call with a customer's hand right in front of her! Poor girl didn't want to say anything but was clearly annoyed. -Quality of service: Got a deluxe pedi. The massage was weak and seemed inexperienced. No essential oils were used at any step. The deluxe should come with an essential oil massage per the menu. Gentleman didn't offer any conversation which I personally didn't mind but I know others may have. Facility appearance: Large ladder in the space made it look like they are still working on the place.. was just an eyesore. The front desk is cluttered.. another eyesore. These things matter when you come to a location to relax. One TV. What I liked: The paint job wasn't bad. He also did well with my cuticles, not cutting into my skin. I mentioned above about the barriers which is a plus. The hairs also appear to be appropriately spaces which was good as well. Music was ok and of a pop variety. read more

I've visited this nail spa 4x and have even brought friends (business) and although I never felt they were the best. I frequent boardwalk alot so why not right ‍ Wrong My last visit was my last visit! I realized they are just playing in acrylic. I've lost 3 nails in one week. I dont have the type of schedule that allows me to keep running to a nail spa to get nails fixed and I'm definitely not the type to run around with my hands looking like this. I think I found my new nail salon! I was in search of a new nail salon close to home, and the ladies (and gent) at Pro Nails didn't disappoint!! I showed Athena what I was looking for and she knocked it out!!! She shaped my nails to coffin perfection and was through with filing after dipping my nails (I do SNS). Linda did a beautiful job on my toe polish change (gel). But above all this, they were HILARIOUS and very friendly!!! I was so happy with the job they did, I took my 15 yr old daughter to see Athena...and she loves them too! I can't wait to go back!!! read more

I went to the guy in the front row, I think he's the owner because he was handling all the customers and answering the phone while doing my nails. He was nice and spoke but he was so distracted the whole time and answering FaceTime calls messing up my nails while talking to family. He began to rush my nails once he saw they double booked 2 clients. He painted very sloppy on purpose and then tried to clean it up with the brush after it did no good because the streaks on the actual nail looked terrible. My cuticles hurt badly, and he forgot to put top coat on two of the nails he had to repaint because they dried poorly in the LED machine. Maybe try someone else but DONT go to the older man in the front !!! I had to file and put top coat on my nails once I got home.!!! read more

I made an appointment for 6:30 for myself and 2 other friends to get pedicures. when we got there, only two people were working. and they were both doing someone else's nails. we were told there would be a 15 minute wait. we were not serviced until 8:00pm. the guy doing my nails changed the shape of my natural nail. One foot was square, one foot was round. Someone had to come behind him and fix my toes. He rushed the entire pedicure. Worst experience ever. read more

Went out with a friend and our daughters to get their first pedicure. Since we had lunch next door, we stepped in here and asked if they do kids pedicures. They said yes, they paint kids nails. So I guess I should have taken it literally because they literally just painted their nails and did nothing else and it washed right off. I understand that's all they do, but I specifically asked if they did kids pedicures for the experience. So now the little girls are impatiently sitting around waiting for moms to get their actual pedicures done and it was all around stressful. Aside from that, my pedicure was more expensive than my regular spot and wasn't worth the price. I left with my old leftover polish on the edges of my nails and one of my toes wasn't even fully painted. I would have had them fix it but it was too stressful to wait longer. It was decently clean in there and the one person checking us in was nice, despite the misunderstanding, so giving two stars. Either way, won't be coming back due to price in relation to quality. read more

So many things wrong with this transaction. I came here because a co-worker mentioned it was close to our job. First thing is they lied about the price of sns powder. I was told over the phone it was $36. I was charged $41. Ok no big deal. The service was slow and unprofessional. There were employees watching youtube and skyping on their personal phones. People eating bojangles at their nail stations. That is completely unsanitary. Last but not least it was dirty. They had piles of swept dirt on the floor. The nail stations were not cleaned or sanitized between customers and the nail tech had dirty hands and he was coughing on me the entire time. The final straw is that the sns started cracking on day 4 and my nails ALWAYS last 3 weeks everywhere else. The shaping was horrible too. This place will not last if they keep this up. Im never going back. I will stick to spectrum nails as i have never had any issues. read more

i found my new favorite place. i came around 10am Saturday, there was 2 ladies working with guest already, and three of us waiting in pedicure chairs. i was fine waiting bc they had got the hot water and everything, maybe 10-15 mins go by and the owner and im assuming his wife come in, they get straight to work with everyone. he said hi, made sure i was happy with the water and apologized for the wait & then he did my pedicure himself! the place is super clean & super cute! a great addition to the boardwalk. they have several pedicure & manicure options. i got the deluxe (pedicure medium option) and a basic manicure. the polish on my hands looked weird after a couple days but its regular polish and i work with alott of cleaning supplies. still happy! read more
