You won't get this type of medical treatment for this price anywhere else. As for the massage itself - it is not what you will expect in a spa. This is a Medical Massage as compared to Western Relaxation Massages. This is a massage that will help you heal and recover from injuries, stress, allergies and a number of other things. Sometimes you have to go more than once to fix a problem. The different massage techniques separate your muscles, fascia, nerves from the bone allowing for nerve endings and blood flow to correct itself. Ms. Moon helped me recover from muscle loss and nerve damage from a prolonged degenerative arthritis condition. She also recognized that my hips needed replacement - before it was detected in an MRI - where my doctor misdiagnosed it as neuropathy! I had an incurable pinched nerve that prevented me from walking upright and without pain, that in 3 sessions she completely eliminated. My doctor can't even believe the change in my ability to walk now. I have taken family and friends to her as well, and all of us have reported better quality of living. Many of us have also gotten off prescribed pain meds as a result. This business is a complete scam. I tried to cancel my appointment just 2 hours after booking, which was made 50 hours in advance, but they ignored my calls, texts, and emails. When I finally spoke to the owner, she arrogantly refused a refund, claiming her website says "no refunds" -- but that's a blatant lie. The only vague statement about "final sales" is hidden at the very bottom of the page, with no clear cancellation policy when I booked or paid. What's more concerning is that she might not even be licensed as a massage therapist in Ohio -- which could be illegal and against state law. I have reviewed many businesses and rarely complain, but this situation is so egregious that everyone needs to be aware of their shady and potentially illegal practices. I had a family emergency and followed what little procedures were available, yet they couldn't care less. This place is unprofessional, dishonest, and downright dishonest. I needed to get a deep tissue massage and the reviews for Best Massage stood out. I realize that I received acupressure, which is not the same as a traditional deep tissue you'd get from a physical therapist, but I also know it's pretty close. So, why 3 stars? Because I can't give 3.5, but if I could, I would. Massage: good! not great. Lots of pressure, even coverage of the body, and a couple of painful points with very few check-ins when (I believe) I winced or shifted uncomfortably. Pain is an occasional factor in a deep massage like this, but I would've appreciated at least a "you okay?". I also asked for extra attention to my leg (the reason I went in), but they didn't pay any extra attention to it, so...yeah. The massage chair massage was just that. Nothing special here. Price: great price at $60 for almost 90 minutes of relaxation. The package I got started with 30 minutes in a good massage chair, moved to 45 minutes of acupressure, and ended with 10 minutes of laying on hot stones. Atmosphere: strip mall massage parlor, basically. I had to listen to a string rendition of "My Way" at least four times over the course of the visit, occasionally with really loud commercials interrupting. Could've been slightly more relaxing. Recommendation: I can wholeheartedly recommend this massage if you're looking for heavy pressure to relieve some deep knots. Scheduling and payment were handled online, tip was done in person (and they had change for my large bill), so that's real simple. If you're looking for very specific, targeted care, you may want to look somewhere else. p.s. - the beds everyone mentions in the review did not seem to be in use. Sarah and Mike were sensational and very therapeutic!! The foot massage was very,very effective for both myself and my gal!! We did the couple's thing and we got there at the right moment for them to accommodate us together!! Really deep tissue massaging from the combo.....my feet were so tight n sore before I received the service.....what a healing sensation for both of us!! Hot foot bath and deep massage to release the tensions and pressures from our tired feet!! The whole hour experience was excellent and very helpful,my pressure points opened up as we both feel so much better!! I made a last-minute appointment and I'm glad that they were able to squeeze me in. I received an intense massage from Moon (owner), followed by Sara, and then a relaxing chair massage. Moon was able to focus on my trouble spots - neck, shoulders, upper back, and lower back. The deep tissue massage can be painful and uncomfortable, but definitely worth it. My range of mobility was much better, and the tension and knots that I had prior to the massage dissipated. My rating isn't 5 stars because Moon had to pause from massaging me to take care of customers coming in or paying. This happened about three times while massaging me. read more

This is not your typical massage spa or swedish massage many are used to. This is a massage place that uses asian techniques. The PVC pipe is where therapist hold on while they walk on you. YES, walk on you! They use strong pressure and stretching and pressure points. This type of massage si appropriate for really tight back and muscles. It may not be as inviting with flowing fountains and aromatherapy like a traditional spa would have. However, it is also cheap for an hour strong massage with hot stones. They ask you to change in shirt an shorts so they cna massage you better. YOu will not be naked and most therapist are men. Moon is a sweet lady who is very accommodating. I was charged for 1) laying on a massage bed that was both uncomfortable and give me more pain than relief. 2) a male massuese who was too rough and after asking, then telling him many times to let up on the pressure on my neck, he did not. Hahahahah! I've been here many times & just looked at yelp reviews. I was shocked it wasn't ranked higher, so I started reading all the 1-star reviews. LOL. Well, I can't say they're *wrong,* but I also completely disagree with them. My 5-star rating is based on the massage (strong - "no pain no gain"), attention (gracious), and availability (best hours in town). If you want a fountain & chit-chat while someone superficially pushes & rubs, this isn't the place for you. Their website will give you a very good idea of what to expect. The rest of the review is for those who want more objective clarification on many of the points raised in the 1-star reviews. 1) This is a very vigorous massage. It will likely be deeper & more intense than any other massage you have had. Moon is the owner, and she's this awesome, spunky Korean lady. Be warned--she has left bruises before. That was just once, and she was working some pressure points hard. Supposedly it is Korean & Chinese, focusing on lymph flow, detoxification, & dissolving tension. I don't know about all that, but I always leave feeling like a new man. 2) Unless you request Moon, odds are you'll get one of the various young men she employs. They're all good as well, but it is true that they speak very little English. If you need anything they will promptly ask (or call) Moon to clarify. I assume she trains them because they all provide very similar type of massage. 3) Yes, they will have you change into what looks & feels like your middle school gym uniform. They have a washer/dryer in back & everything is meticulously cleaned. 4) Yes, they sell all kinds of stuff that has nothing to do with massage. It sits in a display case, and if you don't ask about it they won't try to sell it to you. I guess Moon figures if you're looking for Cutco knives you might as well buy them from her?! :) 5) They have these massage beds called Ceragem. Think massage chair from Sharper Image on steroids. It is constructed much like a folding lawn chair, but has a 'smart' roller-ball system underneath that rolls along & adjusts to your shoulder blades, spine & hips. It's a 35 min programmed massage. I had this multiple times & never been charged, but supposedly it's a $10 add-on. If I don't have enough time I just politely decline. 6) No, it's not "one of those" massage places--despite the pink neon & late hours. 7) About the "required" $10 tip. I've never been told I had to tip $10. There is a sign on the register that suggests you tip $10. Yes, I think it's tacky, but 1) If you're not tipping $10 on a $60 massage, you should probably stop being a cheapskate. ALL massage therapists are going to hope for/expect a $10+ tip after a 60min massage, they just won't tell you or put it on the cash register. 2) I've been scolded by Moon for tipping more than $10, so my guess is this is Moon's way of keeping expectations clear to both clients & workers. Why question a system that works? I'm new in town and have been looking for a good reflexologist. Found this place on yelp and figured why not, great price and pretty good reviews. Booked my appointment easily. Kevin was the masseuse. Not only was he able to tell that I haven't had a massage in a while, he was able to get rid of a lot of knots. I have been to many massage therapy locations in my life, of which many I feel by the end of the session "that's it" moment. This guy had the muscle and energy to get my knots out. Yes it will hurt a little in the beginning but by the end of the session you felt a difference on how loose your muscles are. When the massage was done, I was ready for a nap. 2 thumbs up and highly recommended. The people there are super nice. Can't wait to go back there next weekend. read more

I have been going here for over 2 years and every time I feel aligned and so relaxed after. Perfect for athletes, people who work out, and people with extremely tense muscles. This is not a traditional Swedish massage - Moon and her workers are there to actually work deep into the muscle tissue (they walk on your back/muscles, but you can request not to). My aunt and my mother are both massage therapists so I KNOW what a good massage feels like and the price point. In short; the "Best massage" is the worst massage! - First of all, it was SO weird when the owner told me "the tip had to be AT LEAST ten dollars. We use a lot of expensive creams and stuff...Ok?" her attitude was so weird! I've never been to any place in this world where the owner decided in behalf of the customers how much the tip should be! - I reserved an appointment with the lady because she said somewhere she was the expert!! She said she was available tomorrow! When I went there, she told me she was sick for a week and she couldn't have me for today! (Question: why she didn't tell me over the phone so I could reschedule?) Anyway, she asked one of her employees to do the massage, which was horrible! - The guy was so hard like if it was his first time doing a massage! -The smell of the place wasn't too bad, but for a message place, it was completely inappropriate. -There was no music and the lights were too bright to be relax. The other guy was talking loudly on the phone right behind us (the room was with no door). -When I paid, I gave him $20 to get a change. I wanted him to take $2 to complete the payment, which was $48. He took $12; $2 for the payment and $10 as a tip without my permission! His attitude was like: (well! I was treated to a massage at this facility a week ago, by one of my co-workers. My co-worker said that "it's a massage like you've never had before". Boy, was she right! Moon was very polite and inviting, instructing her associates the perfect thing to do, since I had not been there before. The pressure on my back was DEEP and I wasn't a fan of the walking on my body. I do believe that Best Massage, in fact, the best massage place in town. I'm super ticklish and don't know what it is with Asian massages but I actually find them relaxing compared to regular spas where I'm focused on not squirming the whole time. Everyone who works here is always so nice. I tend to have tension in my shoulders and they really focus on my problem area so that by the time they're done, I'm completely relaxed. They have no problem in working as hard as you want so you can get the full deep tissue therapy that you want. The massage ends with a hot stone treatment and they let you nap in the room while the stones do their magic in further releasing tension. I haven't tried their foot massage yet but I bet it is just as great! As long as you don't expect the most fancy decor and ambiance then you will come out more than satisfied. read more

I had an appointment tonight for a full massage at 6p. When I arrived at 5:50, I was taken back and instructed to lay on the back massage table. I laid on the table for two cycles and a long time without the table running and then finally the female came over after a very long time and patted and said I will turn it on for a little bit . I knew I was laying there for a long time but finally was able to see a clock and it was 8:15p. My massage was scheduled for 6p. No one was around so I got up and got dressed and proceeded to leave. There were two young employees sitting in the front and I said I have been laying there for two and a half hours . This was bullshit. And then I walked out. I've been coming here to get a massage and the $40 foot massage is a great deal! The owner and workers are very nice and friendly eventhough there are some language barrier. The massage they offer is not the typical spa-kind. They provide a relaxing environment with music and dim lights. The massage starts off with a foot soak then they get into action! Agree with the other reviews here. Very typical of a massage you would receive in Asia (or any of the foot reflexology places in the US owned by Chinese or Korean proprietors - I believe Best is owned/managed by a Korean woman). Pressure is as deep and strong as you care to take, and I was able to get in without reservations twice in three days. Both times my therapist was a guy. Price was $40 for a 60-minute foot treatment, $60 for a combo body/foot treatment, which included the use of hot stone therapy (before tips). Good service overall in a well-kept surrounding. The massage hurts, hurts so bad I thought I was going to pass out and at one point I started giggling and Moon backed off because she probably knew the crying would be next. To start off I was in a horrible car accident 3 years ago and have been unable to sit still due to so much pain. I was told to check this place out by a family friend and I'm very glad I did. I've gotten multiple deep tissue massages and while rough getting them I feel great after they finish and I can head home. The happy hour special is a huge plus too! Great massage at a good price!
