Checked out their website and found 3 items I liked. Went to their store and they were very helpful. My first 2 pics I was told I probably would be better to pick another, because of the maker. So I went with my 3rd pic. The consultant helped me in that one bathroom currently had a 9 bulb fixture. The light I picked didn't come with a 9. In talking it over we decided on 2 fixtures with 3 bulbs. This was a double sink bathroom. Items arrived within the 2 week time frame I was given. Since they didn't come with bulbs and the store didn't have them, the consultant sent me an email link to order them off a certain on-line store. Had the lights installed and the rooms repainted and I am very happy with the lights. Thank you so much Northern Lights!

I wasn't just buying a fixture--I needed someone who could help identify, source, and organize a long list of parts, fittings, and hardware to make everything come together correctly. She took the time to listen to all of my concerns, understand exactly what I was trying to accomplish, and carefully map out every piece I needed. Her attention to detail was exceptional. She never made me feel rushed, answered every question I had, and worked incredibly hard to ensure I left with exactly the right components. It's rare to find someone who is not only knowledgeable but also genuinely invested in helping a customer solve a complicated problem. Excellent customer service has become hard to find these days, but Becca reminded me what it should look like. She was patient, professional, thorough, and truly cared about getting everything right the first time. Thanks to her dedication and expertise, my chandelier project came together exactly as planned. Northern Lights is fortunate to have someone like Becca on their team. If you need lighting, parts, or expert guidance, ask for Becca--you'll be in great hands. Thank you again for all of your hard work. It was sincerely appreciated.

As veterans, and with me being a retired law enforcement officer, my husband and I would not…read morerecommend this company based on our experience. My husband called Eco Electric because two outlets in our kitchen were not working. We expected to pay the standard service call fee, which was around $60 and possibly, if needed, $289 diagnostic fee. The electrician, Andrew "Drew", arrived and my husband explained the problem. Andrew gestured toward an area of the kitchen and said the issue was probably there, referring to where the GFCI outlet was located. However, before performing any diagnostic work or even checking the outlet, he had my husband sign an agreement authorizing a $289 diagnostic charge. Andrew then stepped outside, came back in, walked directly to the area he had pointed out earlier, moved a medicine box that was blocking a GFCI outlet we didn't even realize was there, and simply pressed the reset button. The outlets immediately started working. At that point, my husband asked if the diagnostic charge was still necessary since the problem had already been resolved. Andrew told him the charge still applied because he had already signed the paperwork, even though the issue had been fixed before any actual diagnostic work had taken place. That is what left us feeling misled. Our concern has never been about paying for honest work or a legitimate diagnostic. Our concern is that we were asked to authorize a $289 diagnostic fee before basic troubleshooting was performed, and once the simplest possible fix restored power, we were still expected to pay the full diagnostic charge simply because the paperwork had already been signed. Andrew seemed like a nice person, but that doesn't change how the process was handled. I don't know whether the technicians are paid on commission or another type of incentive, but as a customer, the process felt dishonest and misleading. My husband later spoke with Bill, who I believe was the manager or someone in a supervisory role. Unfortunately, my husband found him dismissive and defensive of the complaint. He didn't seem interested in truly listening and even interrupted my husband before he had finished explaining what had happened. To Bill's credit, he said he would speak with Andrew to hear his side of the story and call my husband back. When Bill called back, he did agree to reduce the charge by $100, which we appreciated. During that conversation, my husband explained that, going forward, their technicians should provide a more thorough explanation and perform basic troubleshooting before asking customers to authorize expensive diagnostic charges. Otherwise, the process can leave customers feeling misled and can come across as deceptive. What was especially disappointing was reading the comments Andrew entered on our invoice afterward. He (Bill or Andrew) wrote that the customer "was not happy with having to pay for the diagnostic" and that he "wouldn't be able to work with him again." That is simply not an accurate representation of what happened. Our complaint was never about paying a fair diagnostic fee. Our concern was the lack of communication, the order in which things were handled, and the misleading process. We were asked to authorize a $289 diagnostic charge before the most basic troubleshooting step--checking and resetting the GFCI outlet--was even attempted. Once that button was pressed, the outlets worked immediately. We appreciated the $100 reduction, but that doesn't change how this experience was handled or how our concerns were documented afterward. As veterans, my husband and I expect honesty, transparency, and integrity from the companies we hire. Unfortunately, this experience fell far short of those expectations, and we will not be using or recommending Eco Electric in the future.

Now I know why Ed at Heritage Lighting Services has such rave reviews here on Yelp!…read moreSHORT VERSION: He managed to get an odd contemporary LED floor lamp working again for me when all other avenues failed. LONG VERSION: About 10 years ago at Lamps Plus, I purchased a very modern looking Possini Euro Design Magnum torchiere lamp that has an adjustable reading light arm. The top of the lamp and the reading lamp arm each have embedded LEDs and 3-position dimmer switches. The lamp had been working reliably for all these years until I accidentally managed to break the very odd "wall wart" AC adapter/LED driver unit so that it could no longer be plugged into any electrical socket. I attempted to contact both the manufacturer and Lamps Plus for assistance in purchasing a replacement for the power supply, but neither of them even bothered to reply. I was also unable to locate another of the same power supply units anywhere on the Internet, and I was surprised to find that there are few if any lamp repair services here in the Henderson & Las Vegas area. It looked like my otherwise perfectly functioning lamp would have to be thrown out. Fortunately, I then found Heritage Lighting Services here on Yelp! When I tried calling, I heard a pre-recorded message from Ed suggesting that anyone needing repairs should send a text message describing the problem. I sent a detailed text message that explained my situation, and I included all of the tiny "fine print" specifications that were printed on the now-damaged AC adapter. A short while later, Ed replied to my text message. He apologized for the fact that he did not have the necessary parts and experience to repair my LED lamp or its damaged power supply. I told him I understood, but was disappointed because he was basically my one hope for salvaging the lamp, so he offered to look online for an adapter with similar power specs that could be substituted for the damaged original one. Just a few minutes later, he texted me again to say that he had found an alternative AC power adapter online that seemed to meet my lamp's electrical requirements, and it could be delivered to him within a couple of days. Naturally, I told him to go ahead and order it. Three days later, I drove to his workplace and dropped off my torchiere lamp plus the broken original power adapter. Just a couple of hours later, Ed sent me a text message to report that he had removed the old connector at the end of the lamp's power cable and replaced it with the new plug to connect the lamp to the new power supply, and my lamp was now working perfectly. I drove back to his location, where he demonstrated that the lamp was now ready for use again -- and the repair charge was extremely reasonable. I cannot say enough good things about Ed, a lighting repair pro with a friendly and helpful personality. He was a pleasure to deal with, and I can recommend him highly.
