I had Mr. Fix It tear down an added wall in my home by the last owner. Tony was a breeze to talk to, extremely helpful & knowledgeable. He gave me a fast, reasonable quote with a good turnaround time. His crew that did the job were all great and did a nice job covering valuables and blocking off the area. They did well cleaning up. I will definitely use Mr. Fix It again very soon for more work. He mentioned they do kitchen cabinet painting and flooring installs. read more

When Tony first came to my home he was very helpful and kind. I felt comfortable using him. I hired him for two bathrooms. He gave my reasonable pricing, however, he couldn't be more eager to be finished with me. I overheard him, twice, telling his sub contractors to just do "this" or "that" and to get out and be done. At one point, while discussing the shower in the second bathroom, we talked about whether to replace the valve. I told him that I trusted his judgement, and he said he thought it would be fine. Well, it isn't. When I contacted him about fixing it (less than 3 months after the job was done) he said he could do it for about $500-$700. Then in a follow up message it was going to be $1100.oo. There were also many delays, due to Tony's schedule, his family emergency, and some of his guys being out sick. All oof this is understandable, but to not make things right...Including a loose mirror and a sliding shower door that needs to be fixed, and I cannot get Tony to respond to my repeated attempts to contact him...I'm sad. After obtaining a few estimates, we went with Mr. Fix It because he was fairly priced and had good reviews. Our shower and tub tile needed to be repaired. Tony sent over two guys. They finished the job pretty quickly and everything looked great. Overall good experience with this company. read more

I called regarding two projects of interest. 1. to remove a pony wall between living room and dining room; 2. to enclose rear patio, bringing it to regular home standards. I was contacted quickly, following my e-mail inquiry. A home inspection was set for Friday afternoon. Friday morning I received a call cancelling the appointment. Tony decided the project was beyond the scope of what he normally does. I'm not upset, because he had the courtesy to call to cancel, unlike another contractor who failed to show and left me hanging. read more

Although the people who work for this company are very nice, I have to give them a 2 star rating and I would not recommend them to anyone I know. On Monday, Tony came to my house to check out my kitchen light that had gone out. I stated that I had already tried to switch out the light bulbs and it still wasn't working. Tony told me that they would have to switch out the whole thing with a new one and that he would give me a call or text to let me know when the guys were coming which would either be 9am on Tuesday or 9am on Wednesday. On Tuesday at about 2:30pm I finally texted Tony to ask what was going on since I had yet to hear anything. He said they would come on either Wednesday or Thursday. On Wednesday he calls around 5pm to tell me the guys would be at my house to replace the light around 11am-12pm on Thursday. Well at 12:30pm on Thursday I text Tony to say no one has been here, he replies with "they are on their way". The guys finally showed up around 2pm, were in my house for about 5 minutes then stated they had to leave because they had to replace the whole light. Umm ya Tony told me that on Monday so why aren't the guys prepared on Thursday. It is now 2:37pm, I had to call my boyfriend to come to the house because I have to go to work and cannot wait around all day for these people. Tony was very nice when I met him but overall I would say the company is disorganized, lacks communication skills, and is just overall unprofessional. I guess we will see if my kitchen light ever gets fixed. I have been cooking in the dark all week, whats a few more hours or days; i guess. read more

We are military and moving to the Vegas area. The home we purchased requires some work, so my husband tried calling based on the seemingly positive reviews listed here. He used the listed number and addressed the man who answered as "sir", out of habit. Ultimately, the person who answered said he was doing horrible, wanted to know how my husband got his number, and what he was selling. When my husband tried to say he was interested in the work "Mr. Fix It" was able to do, the guy said he wasn't interested and hung up on my husband. We are attempting to shop around and wanted to give a local business owner a chance because the work is likely to be a large job (several+ thousand dollars), but after this, we will just be going the "easier" route. Sorry this experience went this way and hope whoever my husband spoke with has a better day tomorrow. :/ read more

I had a water leak that damaged walls and floors on my entire first floor. I called Tony for an estimate and he came out the next day. He was great and explained to me the company doing the water cleanup still had a way to go and he could not give me an estimate yet. He took the time to explain to me the process of doing water cleanup. I will definitely being calling him for an estimate to repair drywall and paint etc after the water cleanup process is complete. Completely happy and satisfied. My original contractor, CertaPro Painters of Southern Nevada, didn't show up for an appointment I had booked with them two weeks prior so I was in desperate need of someone to help us out asap. I called Mr. Fix It on a Friday for some stucco work we needed to have done on the outside of our house. He was super informative and easy to communicate with. He also texted with me so that made things even easier! He had someone out to my house by Monday to get things fixed up and they were done within 3 hours.
