Meeting her wasn't like meeting a new vendor, but more like gaining a new friend. We decided on Halina as she provided the most flexible option in terms of choosing our own materials, and she is extremely careful with giving a detailed quote so that the client can see the complete breakdown. Halina helped us with a full kitchen and bathroom renovation. We had a modern kitchen but hated the look. I showed her my Pinterest board which she immediately understood my vision. She brought in an amazing cabinet maker (millworker) who did fabulous custom cabinets for us. I am an avid baker and cook and wanted the small kitchen to be as functional as possible. Halina accommodated with bringing in the millworker who mapped out our entire space for maximum efficiency. This included pull out spice cabinets, utensil cabinets, toe kick and pull out trash bin. We had a custom color sprayed on the lower cabinets and they look and function beautifully; with soft closing drawers and inlay cabinet doors. The bathroom was definitely a complete overhaul. We did a bathtub to shower conversion with hexagon tile flooring, subway tile walls. Halina made sure that all the plumbing was good to go, and while this was a slightly difficult process for us to live without running water for a little bit, the end result is well worth it! We have a beautiful bathroom that makes me feel like I am at a resort every day. The tile work is very well done. As far as change orders, Halina doesn't start anything without asking us. We had a few things that we wanted to change that were on our part - and the prices were fairly reasonable. What we paid at the end was very close to what we were quoted in the beginning. Overall, we are extremely thrilled with our renovation from Aspiro Renovations. Halina's dedication to excellence and continued support is (she has helped us even after the renovation is over) is much appreciated.

Islandwide destroyed our house. They have not returned our…read moremoney. This company is negligent, inexperienced, and a danger to any home they enter. They were hired to remodel 3 rooms in our home. After a YEAR of delays, dozens of mistakes, dangerous conditions, and ineptitude from the egocentric owner, we will not be receiving what we paid them for. Islandwide has not resolved the money they are still holding of ours and we have to hire others to fix their mistakes. One looked at our house and said he has never seen something as unprofessional as their "work." Our custom 1000+ pound sliding door was inspected and found to be glued together, incorrectly installed and a falling hazard. The wheels were glued on and do not roll. It is also a fire hazard because it will not open properly. The base isn't even secured to the ground. It is incredibly dangerous. They insisted for weeks that the door was safe. They can decide whether they are liars or completely incompetent. The door didn't fit (because they mis measured), so they CUT OUR NEW STRUCTURAL BEAM with an electric hand saw. It is absolutely destroyed. We had multiple gas leaks that they never returned to fix. The plumber refused to turn the heat on through the entirety of the winter because he was afraid Islandwide wouldn't pay him. We paid for the heating system in full but suffered because of their bad dealings. Our interior doors arrived backwards. He then lied and said he expedited correct doors-- the doors returned hacked up, patched and flipped. He had a meltdown when we caught him in his lies. The tile is delaminating from the floor. Our cabinets are missing pieces, chipped, hung crooked and sagging. The moulding is falling off the wall. The electrician ruined the power in my home office for months. He refers to his mistakes as "changes" and claims we made too many changes. We didn't change anything. I could write a book. But, given the owner of Islandwide's insistence to pass the blame or deny reality, I am sure he'll claim we are just bad customers, too hard to please, or let AI come up with some inflated reply. So, don't take it from me; here is what his own crew has said: ***We call him the Fuhrer. ***We have tried to reason with him. I've asked him how he'd feel if his family were living in these conditions. It's a shame. ***He's not experienced enough to do this job. Let us get as far as we can and then you can sue him. ***He keeps dropping the ball and won't pick it up. This is happening with most of our jobs. Do you know anyone who is hiring? ***If anyone ever asks me about this, I'll lie and say I didn't say it. But, I think your money was used for other things and that's why the delays are happening. Don't let this company anywhere near your home. Safety, quality, standards or integrity are not their priority. Since they haven't returned our money, I can also say they are dishonest crooks.

We needed our master bathroom completely gutted and refinished (bad water damage from a busted pipe) and while my other half and I are usually up for doing it... we ran out of steam halfway through gutting because there is just so much other stuff in our lives at this time that we needed help. Like everyone else said, clean, efficient, price is more than reasonable, work is absolutely solid, and gives amazing recommendations when I ask about their opinion on aesthetics. Usually on time or early, if plans change they let me know way ahead of time. They also care about the longevity of their work (an example would be coming to me and letting me know I should buy a metal hose rather than use the one provided with the washer/dryer unit.) They started last Monday and had the rough done by that Thursday during which time they started the tile work--anyone whose done any DIY construction knows the rough takes the longest and they were able to start the finish work that same week. No one tried to upsell me on anything, or recommend work I didn't need done unless I specifically asked/requested. It was all about what my vision of what I wished the bathroom to look like and that is really important to me. My husband took one look at everything they did so far (he's a perfectionist, to put it lightly) and was extremely impressed--he had quite a bit of anxiety about not being able to finish it ourselves but it put him at ease when he saw the skill and care they put into making it our (my) dream bathroom. The workmanship is excellent, and they are meticulous about doing it right. Because of this, I also contacted them to work on another property I have in Queens, and again, the price of which was reasonable and since I trust their work, it was a no brainer to go with them again.

Working with Denny, Dennis and their work crews was an absolute pleasure. We unfortunately had to stay in our home the entire process, yet the guys were as considerate to our situation as much as was possible. What was most impressive was this company's ability to keep to a schedule, keep their promises and work professionally. You get what you pay for! I had several quotes for less money than Shells Only. They wouldn't return a call, didn't know how to work with the Permits, and generally were unorganized. From the very start, Dennis daughter (forgot her name) work so nicely with my wife picking out hardware for the bathroom, colors and etc. Afterall, if the Mrs. isn't happy ultimately, I won't be happy! The details matter. Shells only paid attention to the details that I requested of them and added some smart recommendations. Even more important to me was finishing the project. My worry was payments were mostly in start of job, will they disappear in the end? Answer, no they finished this job as agreed on time!!! I was lucky to get Denny who as i was told doesn't forman much anymore as he is too valuable to the sales process. So, I got lucky there!
