ive been coming here for about 10 years. I use to be a licensed massage therapist in Nashville so I can honestly say this is excellent service. I usually do 90 minutes. no it is not a St.Moritz spa, it is not fancy but they absolutely know how to massage. I've travelled many countries and still I find this place in the lead. if you are looking for a spa atmosphere where the therapist talks the whole time go elsewhere, if you are looking for a serious Chinese massage that really makes you feel brand new this is your place. also because I frequently visit I've found the therapist that fits me best, like what areas like my arms to avoid. just communicate to them and you'll get way more than you paid for. read more

I went in last night for a massage. not only did she try to demand I pay prior which was weird.. after agreeing to pay at the end, she upcharged me from what it has cost prior. I still tipped and went on my way. About an hour later I get a notification stating that I was charged $210 opposed to the $140 she stated, it was tap to pay and cameras will show I did not sign a receipt for that price. A lot of businesses in Nashville have been doing this recently... make sure you check your bank after. I have reported them to my bank and will take legal action if they deny this incident. lost a reoccurring customer read more

Honestly can't believe what I just witnessed I called at 7 and asked if they had any availability at 7:30 and they said 7:45 so I said ok. They called me like 5 minutes later and said they could do 7:30 so I showed up at 7:25 and the first thing I noticed was all of the beds are in the lobby right next to the front door. Wtf. They tell me to sit down on one bed with no directions they didn't ask what kind of massage I wanted, nothing. They say me down fully clothed and covered me with a towel from 7:30 to 7:40 and didn't even say another word. I got up and left. read more

Paid for a 90 minute massage and was only a little over an hour. Our appointment was at 11. They did not come into the room on time. We laid there for a good 15 minutes then when we were finished, the lady tried to tell me I had to tip them 20%. The entire time that we were having our Massage the girls were talking and whispering back-and-forth, laughing, making it very hard to relax would not recommend read more

This was a well needed massage. I was lucky to get a walk in appointment. My masseuse didnt quite understand me very well so her touches were medium and super hard. It wasn't the kind of massage that you melt into the table and get transformed into a whole other reality. But I was really swollen and I needed to move that fluid around and she did do that. I was really hoping for better and the next day I was swollen again. It's kind of a waste of money. But they were super sweet. When I asked for pricing, they said a foot massage was $75 and a full massage was $80. Of course I got the full Massage, but I really wish the foot massage was less expensive. read more

To be honest I love this place- if you want a luxury experience this is not for you. This is very casual and sometimes chaotic but their prices are fair and they always can take walk-ins. I've never had a bad massage either. read more

Horrible experience, scammed me I asked for a 1 hour full body massage with Linda. When I got into the room she started pushing for 90 minutes. I could not understand a thing she was saying. I said no, then she asked if I wanted a second girl to massage one half of my body while she does the other. I asked her for the total price of the massage and she said 60 dollars, I said "60 total?" And she said "yes" but also kept saying "half, half!" So I thought she meant it would be a 30 min massage but with 2 people for $60, because 60 seemed too low. Regardless I specified a third time "$60 for the entire thing?" And she said yes. I figured maybe they wanted to chat while massaging me or they were looking for extra tip. Go figure. So Linda and a revolving door of women came in to massage me for what turned out to be one hour. The entire time they kept asking if I wanted more time, and I was worried I was going to be ripped off. I knew it wasn't going to cost $60. I was uncomfortable the entire time. Nothing was relaxing about this experience. After the hour was finished I went to pay and sure enough the lady at the front asked for a HUNDRED and SIXTY. Just not acceptable. There's no way to even reason with them because they don't speak English. I paid $160 and left a $30 tip because I'm sure most of the money goes to the house. But $190 for a, mind you, MEDIOCRE, massage is ridiculous in Tennessee. I'm from New York and a quality massage is about $70 plus tip. Will not be returning. DO NOT RECOMMEND, there are so many better places. read more

Massage beds are literally 1 foot from the front door so customers are talking and hovering over you while you are trying to enjoy your massage. Employees and very pushy and demanding. They pressure you into longer times to get more money. Was pressured on increasing time from 45mins to 60mins but I repeatedly declined. She eventually said "ok I'll just do a little bit longer". She went 5 mins past the 45mins that I wanted. At check out they charged me an extra $5 saying that it was for the extra 5 mins that I was hassled about but refused. The beds are covered with towels. While I was waiting for my friend I watched several people get on and off the beds without the towels being changed. Actual massage was a 3/10 at best. What a waste of money. read more

Judy is an excellent massage therapist. She can do light massage, deep tissue, hot stone. The best I have ever had.

Absolutely terrible. Called in after seeing a well priced $110 couples massage online. They said they had an appointment at 1pm and then said ok bye and hung up. No confirmation or name taken. Then called 10 minutes beforehand and just said "you have appointment, you know where we are?" No introduction, didn't say where they were calling from, nothing. We went in and they quickly led us back to a room. When the masseuses came in, they didn't ask about what we wanted (there were options online) and just started the service. They then starting talking to each other and loudly laughing, which is extremely annoying. I had to awkwardly ask them to stop talking to each other so we could enjoy and relax. The massage itself was just okay, although my wife did enjoy hers. However, her masseuse left the room 3 times during her massage to do who knows what. When we went to pay, the lady ran my credit card for $130. I told her it said $110 online and she said no and pointed to the menu on the wall, which did not list the couples massage. I showed her the website and she said ok I give you $10 off next time, and that there is a $5 per person credit card charge, even though we only used one card. Ridiculous. read more

Best Day Massage - They did not honor this special - Reflexology Near Me - Nashville, Tennessee

When I arrived I was greeted by a lady sitting to the right at a desk. She ask me what was I getting today. I got a $65 foot massage. I notice there is no privacy you are out front in the opening with other customers, people come in and out of the front door, phone rings the receptionist is taking calls, the buzzer comes on every time someone enters and leaves the business.( and on that day It was really cold so the cold air would blow inside). My massage I would give it a 3 out of 5. The massage felt rushed. I noticed when other people came in the lady that was doing massage got in hurry to get it over with. The staff was friendly, the place was clean. read more

Had a bad kink in my neck and they did a phenomenal job. I recommend to place to everyone in town.

Amazing! I will be going back when I am in town. Clean place, peaceful environment, & nice people

Best massage. Get in same Day with minimal notice , super affordable Price. Best of all if you just tell them if you don't like the way something. Feels and they will accommodate until they get it right. Just speak up! Excellent massages I go here often read more

Came here as somewhat of an emergency, my back hurt so badly I couldn't breathe without feeling pain. Literally. I just got a table massage and feel a million times better. Alive again. Definitely coming back here every time I'm in Nashville. Definitely recommend. It's a no-frills place but it's clean and they do great work. Def recommend. read more

I was struggling with a headache and tight shoulders/neck, and when I called they had same day availability. I got there about 20 minutes early to check the place out and use the restroom. It's a basic set up, no frills but all the necessary things and clean. They were kind, and had me wait in one of the massage rooms. I asked for an hour massage and for them to focus on my trouble areas - and they did awesome! Honestly one of the best massages I have had, firm and targeted, but not abrasive. They customized it to me and added hot stones for a problem area at no additional cost. $80 for an hour massage - will definitely be back! read more

It was really awkward. We got the 30 minute foot + 30 minute body massage. The 30 minute foot massage was in chairs and was kinda strange cuz the chairs were in the entryway where people were walking in and phone calls were being taken. The foot massage was nothing spectacular. Just felt like she was doing the same massage move over and over again. Then I was taken to a private room for the 'body' massage which was only focused on my back. There were points where it was pretty good, but then after a bit she was just doing one elbow move over and over again. Then the awkward moment came when my husband and I were paying in cash and needed change. We needed $40 change for our two $80 massages and they acted surprised that we wanted change. We weren't about to pay a $20 tip on a mediocre (at best) $80 massage. That's well over 20%. We still tipped 15% each, which was more than generous for what we received. I would say that the quality was more like a $40-$50 massage. read more

*** very dishonest*** We didn't come in assuming dishonesty and we don't check our phones during the massage because when we booked our massage we trusted that the establishment would stay true to the time agreed upon. Please don't make that same mistake, save yourself the time it's obvious that they do this routine often. My fiancé and I went here for 30 minute massages today in full trust that the massage would be great and the staff would handle their job with integrity. We will absolutely never come here again, and we STRONGLY recommend you do not either! When we arrived we let the manager(woman at the front desk) know that we just wanted 30 minute massages at the same time. (My fiancé wanted the table massage in the back room and I received the foot massage in the front room.) The woman covered my eyed with a towel and my foot reflexology massage began. Once the massage was complete we were charged an hour each for the massages. We were confused and curious about that outcome. We were positive that upon arrival our 30minutes request was clear. It didn't take long before the manager was yelling at us about how we were wrong for not checking the time on our phones during the massage and the massage therapists were crowded around us in silence witnessing her yell at us. IT WAS HORRIFIC! The more we asked questions, the more escalated she became. My fiancé received his massage face-down so he couldn't check the time, and I had a towel put over my eyes so I was unable to see the only clock which happened to be on the back wall behind me. We easily kept our cool as it quickly became clear that they were trying to pull a fast one on us. As I started to say let's just pay and get out of here a voice from behind us yelled " you both have phones in your hands right now, you should have checked the time". The voice came from a random older man sitting at the door in the waiting chairs. My fiancé calmly asked him to calm down and not concern himself with our matters and to our surprise he responded "no, I own the place." He sat idly by, in silence, the entire time before that comment. We noticed they were trying to push us to anger by the way they were talking over us and by the words their choice of words. However, we are very patient and non-violent people. It seemed like they realized at the same time that we weren't going to stoop to anger here. So Instead, I proceeded to request the owners name and further dispute the issue with him instead of the rude manager. The front desk worker then interrupted and disputed saying she is actually the owner. once we stated that we will make some calls and post a review, the manager started offering to discount the services (which still was more expensive then what we initially asked for). We didn't come in assuming dishonesty and we don't check our phones during the massage because when we booked our massage we trusted that the establishment would stay true to the time agreed upon. Please don't make that same mistake, save yourself the time it's obvious that they do this routine often. read more

Do NOT recommend this for a massage. Visiting from out of town and tried this place. It was horrible! Not only do they charge more than the website stated she didn't give me the full time. When I asked about it she said she did. I timed it, I am not an idiot. And then they asked about a tip. Really? You already charged me for 10 minutes more than received. Tip - Do a better job next time and you will receive a tip! read more

I went here on a Sunday afternoon for a 90 minute deep tissue massage. I echo the other reviewers comments about this not being a luxury spa although I don't feel like it needs to be said. If you're paying $95 for a 90 minute massage, you're not at a spa in a five star hotel. If that's the atmosphere you want, go somewhere else and pay double what you'll pay here. I love these Chinese medicine massage places because I like massages with a TON of pressure. I'm not kidding. I think Hercules could massage me and I'd still want more pressure. I have a ton of back and neck pain and, more recently, I've developed intense pain in my hip. I told the same to the therapist that was assigned to me. It was a good massage and it helped a lot but I can only give it 4 stars. There wasn't quite enough pressure and the massage therapist spent too much time massaging me over a sheet by just sort of gripping my muscles. There was about 10-15 minutes of that at the beginning and end, which really adds up. The majority of the massage seemed to be more Swedish rather than deep tissue, which is what I asked for. I also told her my neck was really bothering me and she didn't spend much of the 90 minutes on it at all. She maybe spent a minute or two on my hip but I would have liked more. My overall impression what that she didn't know how to fill the 90 minute time slot. She sort of ran out of stuff to do so she abruptly left and got hot stones. It was fine but, again, I preferred deep tissue or for her to focus on the areas I was having problems with. I plan to go back and maybe try a different therapist. This really is an awesome place and if you want to walk in and get a great table massage or foot massage, this is your place. I just wasn't 100% thrilled with my first table massage. That being said, I'm probably being a little picky because I really do feel better today (one day after). read more

I agree with the reviewer who said this is not your "pamper me at the salon" place. I stumbled upon Best Day when I pulled a muscle in my back earlier this week. They were able to accommodate my walk-in which I appreciate. My massage consisted of an hour session of them digging their elbow Into my back. Again I was in pain so I didnt complain. I finish my massage which I think was way overpriced for what they did. I tipped them, and the female at the front turned to me and angrily said "That's All?, You need to tip at least 20%". Flustered I scratched out the previous tip which was quite generous and gave her more. I went to leave the establishment and the door was locked. I'm not sure if this was a scare tactic but I could not stop thinking about how rude they were for poor to mediocre skills and terrible customer service! I will never go back!!! read more

The massage was ok but I gave the lady a $40 tip for a 2 hour massage and she demanded that I pay her more money for her services. Never had I been treated this way for a massage. Have a migraine, achy back and want to walk in and get a quick massage / reflexology for $20-$60 - this is a your place. Look this IS NOT the "hey look lets take mom to get pampered for mothers day" kinda place. It's in a stripmall, a few chairs, no art, simple basic place. This is a upgrade from the guys/gals that are in the malls offering to give a chair massage but it a quieter atmosphere (vs. among shoppers and screaming children) and overall a better massage. Do not go here if this is your first massage. This is for people that just want the pain to go away, have had plenty of massages and like alot of pressure. These lovely ladies are willing to use their whole body to get the kinks out. So be prepared. Yes, they have their clothes on. Don't get dirty now.... I'll be back, it was a fantastic affordable massage. I will agree with both Suzanne R and Alan L in their reviews in their reviews -- and yes you will be bit sore after. But gosh, the major pain and overall my body feels better. read more

Great place for a quick, no frills massage. After a long run I typically will go get a deluxe pedicure that includes a foot massage to relieve my aching feet. I had some more time today so popped in to this place and they were able to get me in right away. I love the "no appointment necessary" / "no membership " aspect. Sometimes you just need a massage same day! I got the combo 30 min foot/ 30 min chair massage. You remain fully clothed so it's great way to get in some relaxation without a huge time commitment. My therapist was great. No talking or specifics but he did a great job identifying knots and easing tense muscles. I agree with the others that say this is not a "spa" experience. You're not getting an in depth consultation, questions about pressure or fancy incense. If that's what you're looking for- keep looking. This place is perfect for the random massage need that pops up from time to time when you have sore feet or a knotted up back. My only teeny piece of advice for improvement is it is kind of a rushed experience at firsts. When you didn't know what to expect a little direction from the staff would be helpful. You also walk right in to the chair massage room so it can be jarring. If the staff would be great at leading the guests the entrance wouldn't be that big of a deal. Also the website prices are not updated- services are about $10 more than advertised. I would recommend updating this as well. Overall though- it was great and I'll be going back after my next long run! read more

HORRIBLE. Mainly just reviewing to entertain and show you what poor work ethic looks like. Me and my mother walked in lastnight for a Mother's Day gift.. and the man who was massaging a lady already looked at us and asked if we called.. I said "yes, 2 people for (our time)". He got a lady from the back and she came back asking me 500 times if I called.. I had to show her my call long on MY PHONE to prove that I made an appointment earlier in the day.. she showed me her call log and made me find my phone number on HER phone.. and then another man walks in telling the same lady about his appointment at our same time. Same situation .. she said he called the wrong number (trying to blame the customer). This man even called the number he called earlier to make the appointment.. and her phone rang!!! she then went back to the book and "Found" our appointment and told us to wait 30 more minutes. (Basically choosing us over the man last minute) and told him to LEAVE! Yes!! Told him "we don't have anyone, you go." I was over it.. I told the man he could have our appointment. Don't go if you don't like dealing with BS! read more

Came here to kill time before getting on a late flight.. so happy i did.. amazing massage! I feel like jello!

Literally worst experience I have ever had getting a massage, and my gf would agree, and btw I bet WAY better massages and places in malls, lol but anyway, to keep it brief, they were very unclear and communication was terrible, we got a 30 min table massage each, and so that's obviously $80. I'm ready to leave and they act like they don't know how much I owe, then I say it's $80 right? They say yea. Then I give them a $100 bill and this woman just dips off to the back with it. Me and my girlfriend are just sitting there and like she never comes back but there are some other people up front. I finally get impatient and say "where's my change," cause at this point I'm really aggravated. She told me she's coming back with it. Then she comes back and they act like they aren't gonna give me my $20 which I was actually going to tip them, but they (I cannot make this up) acted like they were entitled to a $10 tip each so I should just give them the $100, like I said I was gonna tip them at least $10 anyway but then I got mad and I was really just trying to get out of there at that point so I was like screw it and left. But anyway I was so mad that they would expect a tip of $10 each without me deciding that, not that a tip isn't a courteous thing and individual should do (but I was going to anyway) but the person working shouldn't expect one and be reluctant to give the customer THEIR money back. DISAPPOINTED AND MAD read more

Creepy back rooms... Rude masseuses who did not ask any questions about what we wanted the massage to focus on/ relieve. They also insulted my friend when they thought she didn't tip what they thought was enough (which was $10 for a 60 minute massage by the way). We are never going back. read more

If I could give less than one star, I would. Called at 5:00 pm to make an appointment for 5:45 (15 till 6). Apparently the lady that answered the phone did not understand 15 till 6. (Even after telling her the time we were requesting 5 or 6 different times during the conversation). When we walked in for our appointment, at 5:40 the "lady" said "oh no, you appointment was at 5:15". We proceeded to try and explain that we said 15 till 6 not 15 minutes. She continues to say no your appointment was at 5:15, very rudely and in front of, i assume, another customer who looked mortified. At that point we walked out. It is crazy that anyone who supposedly speaks English can not understand the difference between 15 till 6 and 15 minutes. Very unapologetic and based on other reviews apparently this was a good thing to have happen. Do not recommend this business. read more

I had another killer headache - day three- so caved and went to Best Day. I opted for 30 minute table massage and the gentleman who did the massage helped alleviate my headache. Their massages are in no way girlie or light. This is a "I-think-I-might-not-be-able-to-get-up" kind of massage. Intense, firm to heavy pressure, the knots race out of my back and neck! I decided to give this place a try one day while visiting Nashville. The interior is very clean and new. I actually felt very comfortable compared to some in NYC or SAn Fran. When I walked in they had a menu for me to choose what I wanted and how long. I choose 30 minute reflex and 30 min table. I did notice prices were higher than normal and actually comparable to massage envy . The woman started soaking my feet but told me I needed to wait for the gentleman to arrive after about 10min he arrived. The reflexology was fine it was above the massage I get at my spa for pedicures but left a little to be desired. After 30 min I was taking to another room for the table massage. I was draped w/ a blanket even though all clothes were left on. The gentleman did my neck, shoulders and back he barely did my arms (which is a big reason can rate higher and he didn't do much to legs or lower back) I have some serious knots and he skimmed them. When he was done I felt like I had just had something above my normal spa, but not what I came in for. I tend to like to have my body turned into putty. Overall if you've stayed away bc you thought painful or shady this place is neither. If your looking to have your body turned into putty can't say it will be, but I did notice the bars on ceiling so maybe they assumed I wasn't wanting a serious massage. After $75 with out tip I can't say I like the prices. A little over priced especially when you do an hour. read more
